TLDR; give this place a visit and try all the things! I wish I could give this experience more than 5 stars. 10/10 most definitely recommend. I had never been here before and we decided to see if they were open (after learning on Christmas they were closed). This surpassed all expectations. The photos beforehand said that I would love this place and they were not wrong. We were immediately greeted and sat. Natiesha, our server, was extremely helpful with recommendations and attentiveness. The restaurant was cozy with great vibes and very inviting. We had management come check on us, and made sure everything was good. Now for the best part, the food. We tried the crabby omelette, the chili verde huevos rancheros, and the seasonal winter spiced monkey bread french toast. We tried the herbed potatoes and biscuit with the house made jam (please order this jam, you won't regret it), and the polenta bites. Those polenta bites were probably the best side! The huevos rancheros had a great balance of flavor and heat and tenderness in the pork. The crab on the omelette was cooked to perfection. Overall, this is a place I look forward to repeating because there is so much more on the menu to try!

As soon as we walked in, I knew we had found the right cafe. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff, seated promptly, and coffees right away. Talked away in a shopping center, the establishments still has plenty of seating, is well decorated, and is very welcoming. The sandwiches were absolutely incredible. Perfect portion sizing, delicious accoutrements, and aesthetically appealing. Overall, this is a great place for brunch, breakfast, or lunch!

Went to get breakfast with some friends in Tempe and I saw Daily Dose had a green chile omelet and I couldn't get it off my mind so I had to have it. It's a cool little spot, clean inside and the service was good. The food was ok....like super average. Nothing was great and nothing was bad. Compared to the price, it was disappointing. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd hit Sunny's Diner down the road.

Dry busy eatery with a great vibe and friendly staff. You can find anything you want from coffee to cocktails. Plenty of vegan, gluten free and or "healthy options " for breakfast or lunch. They still offer a variety of omelets, pancakes, waffles but so many other interesting options also. We really enjoyed our breakfast here on Sunday and plan on visiting again.

    Lox Benedict

Got the traditional burger -- it was super good! The Lox Benedict was also really tasty. I got a side of fruit with it, but the portion was tiny... definitely more of a toddler-sized serving than what I expected. Service was pretty mid. It wasn't busy, but we still waited quite a while for our server to come by the table. Also, it was extremely loud inside, which made it a little hard to fully enjoy the experience.

Daily Dose has long been on my list to try. I finally made it in recently. And it was delicious! I look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu. This time I had chorizo burrito with potatoes and the white chocolate sugar bean iced coffee. I didn't have time to sit and enjoy my meal there so I got it to go and the service was great even just to go. I'll come back and dine in next time, but I'll definitely be back.

My food was great here on Saturday and the service was also great. I had the hangover sandwich and it was delicious. We all shared the monkey bread for dessert and it was yummy!

Located in a parking lot adjacent to 2 hotels and beside Spinatos. Well lit and open space. Very clean with a bar to dine in and separate table seating. Customer service was spot on when cashing in for my take order. Allergies accounted for with suggestions. Now on to the breakfast. Best omelette I've had in years and it was without cheese. So flavorful it held it's on. Healthy sides for all diets. Instead of potatoes and fruit, I opted for sautéed spinach and sliced tomatoes. The spinach was very good and flavorful. They also have gluten free bread toast. Definitely open for a return visit and highly recommend.

    Cinnamon roll pancakes

Very nice place for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was clean and seats are comfortable. Our server was friendly and a manager even came by to check on us. The cinnamon roll pancakes is a very generous portion and I took a lot home. But I wouldn't get them again. They were good but it was just too much of one thing. Next time I will go with basic eggs and bacon.

Great breakfast spot in Tempe! My family and I went to Daily Dose on a Saturday morning. It was super busy and our waitress was attentive and quick to bring our food out. I ordered pancakes and they were bomb. I would definitely go back!

Do we actually know how to make tres leches or we just naming desserts however we want? Just curious. It came out super hot, steaming more like a molten cake. As a Hispanic woman, I was expecting a creamy moist cake to celebrate my graduation but this was not it as well. Last but not least if the bald manager with the orange shirt wants to eat in the back of the kitchen, not the problem I get it (I work at restaurants) HOWEVER shoving your two index fingers into your mouth to get your debris out was my last straw. While the ambience is fairly simple, the overall experience is a positive one, especially once the food arrives. I ordered the lox and bagel and was impressed by how substantial the portion was. The lox was generously layered, with a large amount of arugula on top. The arugula appeared to be lightly dressed with olive oil, which added great flavor. While it did not fully align with my personal dietary preferences, it was well executed, and I would be happy to return to see if it can be adjusted. The dirty chai was another highlight in terms of flavor. It was well spiced and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Although it was described as very hot when delivered, it arrived closer to lukewarm, but the taste itself was enjoyable. Service was efficient and attentive. The check was dropped off relatively early, which initially felt a bit quick, but our server continued to check in on us throughout the meal, creating a balanced and courteous experience. The fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent, and everything we ordered was well prepared. Parking in the area can be challenging, though the nearby parking structure behind Pedalhaus makes it more manageable. Overall, this is a reliable brunch option with strong portions, thoughtful flavors, and enough positives to make it a place I would gladly return to.

It was absolutely delicious and the best part of the dining experience. The BLTA (Bacon Lettuce Tomato Avacado) sandwich was way too heavy on the lettuce and the bread was quite hard, making it difficult to eat. It was moreso a handheld salad. Service was okay, though not especially attentive, as our water wasn't refilled. At the host stand there was some confusion when we arrived. She didnt realize we were standing there and then when my boyfriend asked a question about a menu item she didnt respond. We popped in this particular Saturday morning while trouncing through the Tempe Festival of the Arts. There was a line (no surprise since it is ASU territory), but the layout of the line meant people brushing by you & getting too close. The guy who took our order was uncheerful & came across as "I don't want to be here; what do you want?" Not the best impression. We placed our order & were lucky enough to find a seat. There is a small patio on their south side; the light rail to their north. The guy who delivered our food was more friendly. The cinnamon roll was so dry, I swear it had been sitting out for a week -- and there was too much cinnamon. My sister's classic eggs benedict was unappetizing; the English muffin, too, was dry. So dry she practically needed a steak knife to cut into it. There's a Proof Bread shop just down the street. How Daily Jam can have such God-awful muffins is beyond me. The potatoes had no seasoning, she had to salt them -- and the salt & pepper shakers needed filling. My croque madame was edible, if simple. In short, there is absolutely no desire to visit Daily Jam again.

The food was cooked to absolute perfection; honestly, I'm not sure it could have been any better. Sitting at the bar, I was looked after by David, who was an awesome and incredibly attentive server. He went above and beyond, even making sure to put the World Cup match on the TV for me while I ate. To top it all off, they offered me a to-go cup for my drink on the way out. When it's 110 degrees outside in Tempe, that kind of thoughtful hospitality makes all the difference. Five stars all around for the food, the service, and David. I will definitely be back!

There is a bar area to sit inside at a big picture window overseeing the Novus Place structure and greenspace. There is a lot of outdoor seating for the nice weather months. They have a drink bar for special cocktail drinks and coffees. They had little league championships on the tvs. The menu doesn't have a lot of vegetarian choices listed but they do have many gluten free options. I special ordered my chiliquiles without chicken with no issues. The waitress even offered to check on the sauce to see if there were any animal based broths in the recipe. The dish was so flavorful topped with sour cream, and very fresh tomatoes and green onions in the salsa. The tortilla chips were perfectly done not soggy like they can get if not prepared carefully. I ordered my eggs scrambled and they were very cheesy and so delicious. I ordered a single pancake as pancakes are my favorite breakfast food. I can say it was perfectly fluffy and tasty and I am picky about my pancakes. My husband ordered a California Omelet he said it was absolutely delicious with very fresh vegetables. His exact words were this was night and day from the first time we came. I am so happy to say that we will definitely be returning, confidently bring out of state visitors, and recommend this cute diner to others. For locals I noticed they offer a day with 20% for students and faculty at ASU. I am very pleasantly surprised by the difference from the first experience. The management was very respectful and receptive. I appreciate it so much when a business can work to make things right. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast experience I really wanted to like this little brunch place in the Novus Plaza. As a vegetarian it is often hard to find good choices at a standard restaurant. Usually breakfast, brunch style is the best for me because I still eat dairy and eggs. I can't tell you how disappointed I was with the food. The menu was cute and had trendy food from their "As Seen on TV" menu from TV shows featuring certain recipes. I had high hopes as the reviews have been overall good. So after searching the menu for a good vegetarian choice I could only find pancakes and had to order my protein * scrambled eggs separately to fill out my meal. Saying the quality of my food was horrendous is an understatement. I haven't seen burnt pancakes since I was making them myself at 10 years old. Not only did they burn them but they served them to me that way. The cook obviously realized it because he put the worst burnt one on the bottom of the stack. I was so hungry so I tried to eat them but just couldn't yuck. . I enjoyed my scrambled eggs and watched my husband enjoy his bisuits and gravy which he said was decent. The server (singular) was so busy. He was running the bar area and the tables. Not totally his fault but he didn't get back to check on us until my husband had almost finished his entire meal and I still had burnt pancakes. He offered to get me something else but there was nothing else on the menu for me and the experience put me off of pancakes. The menu online looked like it had many more choices maybe the Tempe restaurant limited their menu, I'm not sure. I ended up getting a refund for my pancakes and going home hungry. The restaurant itself was adorable, it had a retro-ish vibe and the server really was trying to get to the 4 or 5 tables that had customers at the time.

Now listen... the spot itself is cute. Once we actually got service, our waiter was cool. It just took forevvverrrrr & I ended up having to request cutlery after food was served. To be fair, it was busy, but there also seemed to be plenty of wait staff, so I'm not exactly sure where the disconnect was. Food-wise: the spinach artichoke dip was definitely the table favorite. My caprese panini was ok, it was sadly lacking pesto which feels a little criminal for a caprese situation. Our friends loved the fancy French toast & I was absolutely there for the prickly pear mimosas The entire brunch honestly felt like it was one dropped plate away from becoming a sitcom episode. One poor new waiter dropped a plate on the floor, then later knocked glasses off the rack above the bar & shattered a couple right next to guests sitting there. I genuinely felt bad for him because you could tell he was having a rough shift. That said, I really appreciated that they acknowledged the long wait & gave us a discount without us having to ask. I stumbled upon this spot after a little self-guided tour of ASU campus on a sleepy Sunday morning (everyone must have been asleep after the big football game the day before). I'd forgotten about this spot and it was such a happy surprise to find it again and to see that they survived the pandemic and are still thriving. First visit I ordered: -Cheat Day Wrap: scrambled egg, bacon, white cheddar, smashed avocado, tomato, brown rice (I ordered without rice), and turkey or ham (I skipped these too) *DELISH on a whole wheat wrap!!! Full of flavor and super easy to eat. This hearty breakfast sando fueled my active morning of hiking "A" Mountain (Hayden Butte Preserve) the running around the the IronMan course to spectate (30,000+ steps as a spectator!). We couldn't leave town without another trip. I took my guy and we enjoyed a salad, another breakfast wrap, and: -Chicken + Prosciutto Sandwich: grilled chicken, prosciutto, fontina, arugula, fig mostarda, dijon (no dijon for us), on a house bun. If you're in the area, looking for a healthy-ish breakfast, lunch, or snack, definitely check out Original ChopShop. Note: it gets busy at peak meal hours with students and faculty.
