My first pint was a Hefeweizen. It had a slight waxy mouthfeel. My second pint was an oatmeal stout. At 7.3% ABV it was a tad strong, but it went down very smoothly. I couldn't have asked for more in my service experience at Goldwater. He exceeded my expectations. Food (N/A): I already ate previously so no food for me. There was a Mexican food truck in the parking lot. Drinks (4/5): I love trying local brews. At breweries, I typically get a flight so I can try out a variety of beers. This time though, I went with a pint. I couldn't say no to the Sour Rangers. I grew up watching the Power Rangers, so that was all the motivation I needed. The story of the owner is interesting with his ties to Ballast Point and the Hass avocado. We sat in the bar area. Bartender was friendly and attentive. There's a sitting area at the front with couches, and past the bar is large wooden picnic tables, next time I would opt to sit outside on the patio.
