Decided to give morning squeeze another chance. My boyfriend ordered the butter cake French toast, and I had the BLTA with fries. The French toast was the star of it all. It was absolutely delicious and the best part of the dining experience. The BLTA (Bacon Lettuce Tomato Avacado) sandwich was way too heavy on the lettuce and the bread was quite hard, making it difficult to eat. It was moreso a handheld salad. Service was okay, though not especially attentive, as our water wasn't refilled. At the host stand there was some confusion when we arrived. She didnt realize we were standing there and then when my boyfriend asked a question about a menu item she didnt respond. Not sure if she was just not paying attention, the music was too loud, or didnt want to converse with us. Sort of awkward. This little spot sits on a dead end road with the entrance all the way around the back. They offer plenty of outdoor sitting which we took full advantage of. The server was nice, very knowledgeable of the menu items. We ordered the Strawberry Banana Smoothie, water and a lemonade. Then we ordered the Fruit and Pastry Platter to share and that was enough to fill up the 3 of us. And the presentation was beautiful as well. The muffins and cinnamon roll came out hot. The barbacoa was at least good. Now I got a side pancake....and it wasn't even cooked all the way through. I thought Jeremiah from Love Island was in the kitchen. We really liked our meals here, they just weren't out of this world. I got the chicken chilaquiles. I really liked it when I first started eating it, but it got soggy wayyy too fast. It also made it so there was no way I was going to be able to reheat it. The flavor was really good and maybe if you were sharing it with your table it would be good, but I would not get it again. My boyfriend got the corned beef hash. It was pretty good, but not the best ever. He would get it again though. Our waitress was GREAT! I think her name was Red. Super attentive. We came here on Mother's Day. Immediately at walking in it was SO HOT the AC was set at 75 in AZ summer heat & there's no fans in the building. They had the door to the patio open allowing flies in which were everywhere and extra heat. I asked once to have it closed and was told they keep it open to go in and out on the patio to access customers mind you there was only one party on the patio of two people . The server that I had asked, said she would let me know and go and ask someone else about that & never came back and let me know anything. I asked my server and he agreed as soon as I asked he closed it, you could tell there was a difference in how much cooler it got in the building it wasn't a lot, but it was a little bit to make us feel even a little cooler. I understand that it is In a college town, but to have no changing table in the bathrooms was an issue for me and it would be nice to have that. They should take into consideration holidays like Mother's Day or even just when family's eat there regarding the changing tables. Our server was super nice. I'd highly suggest investing in ceiling fans or adjusting the AC especially during AZ hot summers especially on days like today where there was a heat warning. Outside of that who seemed to be the manager was accommodating to our party given the before mentioned and even said herself it was hot so we were appreciative of that!! If there was changing tables and fans this review would've been better but THE FOOD WAS GREAT! Kids loved the Mickey Mouse pancakes, we loved the Ruben, big boy biscuits and gravy and the hangover bowl! No complaints on the food at all. As we were finishing our meal an hour later, that's when the place started filling up. I ordered the overnight oats again because why is everything so darn expensive? This was the cheapest thing and it was still over $10 for some oats and fruit. My friend got breakfast tacos and they were unlike any breakfast tacos she'd ever gotten. The tortillas came in individually wrapped foil - she basically had to make her own tacos. Now, I can understand how some people would like this, as you get to prepare your food how you like it. But when you're paying close to $20 for some tiny tacos, the kitchen couldn't construct them themselves? My friend thought it was bizarre and didn't enjoy the experience to be honest. At least they gave her a decent amount of each topping though, which was nice. She also ordered a hot chocolate, which she reported was a tasty hot chocolate. My oats were better than last time - and look nicer too. The fruit was ripe, the seeds had flavor, and the oats were creamy. Kept me satiated for a while. My daughter chose this location to celebrate her 20th birthday with Sunday brunch on 3/29/2026. It took me calling everyday for a week to finally get a human on the phone to make a reservation as recommended from the website since our group was going to be 6 people originally. There ended up being 5 of us. We arrived right at our reservation time, 11am. Oddly enough there were only 3 other tables seated at that time, so it didn't appear as if I needed to reserve a table after all. Drink orders happened 10 minutes later, but took 10 more minutes for them to arrive. 2 of 3 drinks arrived and I had to remind the waitress of my ice tea. 5 minutes later, she returned with it and we put in our food order. This is approx 11:25am. 25 minutes after being seated. While we waited for food our waitress checked on us once, sloppily refilling our water. She left water spills all over the table with zero acknowledgment that she made a mess. Food finally arrived at 12:05. When I mentioned that the wait was disappointing considering this location was nearly empty upon arriving and the only parking nearby, is paid hourly parking. The waitress proceeded to send over a manger who didn't introduce herself, but simple said "I heard you had a problem." I proceed to quietly state that the situation was disappointing, recapping our wait, to which she blamed the kitchen and the size of our group (5). I even explained multiple tables arrived much later and got their food much quicker. I asked for nothing but was not even offered an apology. It's unfortunate because our meals were great. However, there are plenty of excellent restaurants in the area that serve great brunches with much better service. I've never seen a manager with such disregard for an honest issue. Blaming the kitchen and our group size of 5, despite the kitchen not getting our order until 25 minutes after seating, is simply a bad excuse and your kitchen staff deserve better. read more

I liked this because it gave me a chance to people watch the pedestrians from Mill. The food was good. I ordered the overnight oats bowl. The pumpkin granola topping made this meal delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. I ordered a latte to-go near the end of our brunch. Our waitress served it in a glass cup. When I reminded her that it was to-go, she brought a plastic cup and set it on the table for me to transfer the latte from the glass cup to the plastic cup. It was strange. The only gripe I had about my eggs Benedict was that the egg white was still undercooked (it was translucent still in most of it) now I love eggs over easy and all the only thing with eggs that you're ordering undercooked is that the egg white needs to always be cooked , it's the yolk that can be undercooked. Maybe other don't mind but for me, just make sure my egg is cooked enough to not get salmonella.
