Great coffee shop located next to salons and the gym. The shops atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable with plenty of seating. The barista/cashier was extremely nice and he was quick to make my drink. They have an ASU student discount. I went shortly after they opened on a week day and it was pretty quiet, but at have driven by later in the day and they have been pretty busy. I ordered a hot pistachio mocha latte with oatmilk and it was delicious! The combination of pistachio and mocha was really good. The mocha was extremely rich flavored and the pistachio was a accent for the coffee. The coffee taste itself wasn't very strong, people who do not like the taste of coffee would love this drink.

First off, the staff here were incredible. It's built into a multi-business center but has its own entrance and seating so you don't really notice. They offer flights of matcha, coffee, and food, so those are always fun. The coffee tasted very much like the flavor, as in, the mint mocha tasted like you ate a mint leaf. It was interesting because I respect that it was very flavor forward, but also missed the coffee flavor too at the same time. Beautiful presentation and still tasty regardless. Flights are seasonal so there will be new flavors around the corner!

"Sip & Relax at Skyluxx" Skyluxx Coffee is a new little spot in Tempe. It's kind of hidden in the building complex, but once you step inside, it's cute and cozy. Service time was just right--no long wait, which I appreciated. We tried their black coffee and the Banana Bread Latte. Both were good, though not exactly extraordinary. They also have a few tables and chairs outside if you prefer to sit outdoors. A simple, quiet stop for a quick coffee fix.

I saw the Yelp reviews and was eager to check out Skyluxx on a day off. I think I may have caught them in the middle of a rebrand, because they didn't necessarily have the menu I had seen online- IE their flights menu. You come for the vibes though... it's got "Do It For The Gram" all over it. Apparently the flight menu wasn't much of a thing at that point (in November). The staff were still kind to make me an iced coffee flight even with DF options! I told them it was an open runway to their liking of what to make me and they all were a slam dunk. The chorizo burro was good - not horribly spicy, but very flavorful. It's a cozy, bright cafe which allows for small groups but nothing more than 3-4 at a time, or solo time. I spent about $15ish which was expected. Definitely a nice spot to add to the SWC of this plaza.

This place is a hidden gem!!! When you walk in, there's a cute coffee bar with lots of espresso and matcha options. We opted for the coffee flight to try them all! (They told us that a flight also gets you 1/2 off a full size coffee on your way out!) The sweet bee was my favorite. They also offer food options like oatmeal and breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast. They also offer protein waffles that looked fantastic! If you walk further back, there are several small businesses including an injector, nail tech, candle company, and reading card store. Overall, this was such a cute space and the coffee was delicious. They have seating in the center and in a back room to sit and enjoy. We will definitely be back!!

How cute is this space?!?! We were in the area shopping and wanted to get some matcha so we stopped in to check it out. The space is super cute, has rooms to rent for business tenants, and plenty of seating on the coffee side and the lounge next door. Great space to meet up with friends, clients, or to just sit and study or get work done. My friend loves matcha and wanted me to try it. She got the pumpkin pie and I got the banana bread special. It was made well and was delicious without being overly sweet. I may have been convinced to keep trying it! Barista was super friendly and helpful and made the drinks great!

Got a really delicious pistachio latte at Skyluxx. So glad to have an awesome coffee shop right next to the gym. Great customer service. Super nice place to sit and study. Excited to come back!

Ambiance is a 10/10 -- it's such a cute spot, and the employees have always been really nice. That said, the coffee is pretty basic and not that great. I've been a few times now, and I think only once, maybe twice my latte actually tasted decent. The syrups are just store-bought (meh), and I'm not sure what beans they use, but the flavor isn't there. Today's latte tasted a bit stale and burnt, which was disappointing- and tasted no syrup. What really pushed me to write this review, though, was the sales tax -- it was 11.6%, which seems insanely high. This location is in Tempe, where the standard combined sales tax rate should be around 8.1%, consisting of 5.6% state tax, 0.7% county tax, and 1.8% city tax (the Tempe range is 8.2% - 11.2%) so why 11.60%? I literally walked next door and bought my son donuts, and their tax rate was 8.2%, so I have no idea why this coffee shop is charging 11.6% (above the range). On top of that, they added a 3.5% convenience fee (I'm guessing because I used a debit card instead of cash? Also weird) which just felt excessive. Of course I tipped (I always do), but when I got home and looked at the receipt, I felt kind of frustrated. My latte wasn't good, my son said his matcha was just okay, and with the weird upcharges, I just don't think I'll be going back. Again -- super cute place and nice staff, but the coffee and taxing just don't add up.

My wife found this on Instagram and we went the same day with some friends. Such a cool place! Super excellent service, great atmosphere and most importantly the food was wonderful. I recommend the flight. Got a few savory and a few sweet. Macaroons and lemon cake. The drinks we got were also great. Highly recommended.

An absolute adorable coffee shop decked out in blue with an aviation theme. My friend and I shared a valentine flight and it was really good! The pink foam was a nice touch. Loved it. The presentation was so cute and the customer service was excellent. I would come back to try some food and other flights. Also neat seeing little businesses inside. Definitely worth checking out!

Skyluxx is another coffee shop I've been excited to visit for a long time and it did not disappoint! The decor is so fun and bright, really good music (pop hits, from the last 10 years) and there was plenty of parking available in this plaza. We visited this place on a Sunday morning around 930 and there weren't many customers (and no one dining in). We ordered both of the seasonal coffee flights, a blueberry muffin top and a Belgian waffle. The coffee flights were both delicious and I specifically liked the graham cracker and sea salt caramel. I was really surprised at how delicious the waffle was, and I would recommend that to everyone. The muffin top was good, but drier than I thought it would be. The barista working was very nice! This place is also a day spa/salon, which I never knew, and I think offer waxing, facials and hair services. I can't wait to visit again soon!

I saw how unique this place was based on their reviews and their bright blue decor and paint, glad my husband and I stopped by. It's a coffee shop with little shops within it that offer a variety of things. I believe some places were a haircut place, facials, teeth whitening, etc. Very unique spot and definitely worth trying out!

I am a HUGE fan of pistachio and gin so immediately I had to get his drink but it was beyond mediocre. Are we drinking only syrup??? My last complaint is the coconut tres leches dessert.... Do we actually know how to make tres leches or we just naming desserts however we want? Just curious. It came out super hot, steaming more like a molten cake. REVISED: After being very unsure about returning, I have to say that this second trip was worth it…read more Right away I could see they were fully staffed and one of the servers opened the door and welcomed us in. The space is so bright and sunny. I love the cute style of the little diner lots of yellows to help you wake up. There is a bar area to sit inside at a big picture window overseeing the Novus Place structure and greenspace. There is a lot of outdoor seating for the nice weather months. They have a drink bar for special cocktail drinks and coffees. They had little league championships on the tvs. The menu doesn't have a lot of vegetarian choices listed but they do have many gluten free options. I special ordered my chiliquiles without chicken with no issues. The waitress even offered to check on the sauce to see if there were any animal based broths in the recipe. The dish was so flavorful topped with sour cream, and very fresh tomatoes and green onions in the salsa. The tortilla chips were perfectly done not soggy like they can get if not prepared carefully. I ordered my eggs scrambled and they were very cheesy and so delicious. I ordered a single pancake as pancakes are my favorite breakfast food. I can say it was perfectly fluffy and tasty and I am picky about my pancakes. My husband ordered a California Omelet he said it was absolutely delicious with very fresh vegetables. His exact words were this was night and day from the first time we came. I am so happy to say that we will definitely be returning, confidently bring out of state visitors, and recommend this cute diner to others. For locals I noticed they offer a day with 20% for students and faculty at ASU. I am very pleasantly surprised by the difference from the first experience. The management was very respectful and receptive. I appreciate it so much when a business can work to make things right. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast experience I really wanted to like this little brunch place in the Novus Plaza. As a vegetarian it is often hard to find good choices at a standard restaurant. Usually breakfast, brunch style is the best for me because I still eat dairy and eggs. I can't tell you how disappointed I was with the food. The menu was cute and had trendy food from their "As Seen on TV" menu from TV shows featuring certain recipes. I had high hopes as the reviews have been overall good. So after searching the menu for a good vegetarian choice I could only find pancakes and had to order my protein * scrambled eggs separately to fill out my meal. Saying the quality of my food was horrendous is an understatement. I haven't seen burnt pancakes since I was making them myself at 10 years old. Not only did they burn them but they served them to me that way. The cook obviously realized it because he put the worst burnt one on the bottom of the stack. I was so hungry so I tried to eat them but just couldn't yuck. . I enjoyed my scrambled eggs and watched my husband enjoy his bisuits and gravy which he said was decent. The server (singular) was so busy. He was running the bar area and the tables. Not totally his fault but he didn't get back to check on us until my husband had almost finished his entire meal and I still had burnt pancakes. He offered to get me something else but there was nothing else on the menu for me and the experience put me off of pancakes. The menu online looked like it had many more choices maybe the Tempe restaurant limited their menu, I'm not sure. I ended up getting a refund for my pancakes and going home hungry. The restaurant itself was adorable, it had a retro-ish vibe and the server really was trying to get to the 4 or 5 tables that had customers at the time.

Now listen... the spot itself is cute. Once we actually got service, our waiter was cool. It just took forevvverrrrr & I ended up having to request cutlery after food was served. To be fair, it was busy, but there also seemed to be plenty of wait staff, so I'm not exactly sure where the disconnect was. Food-wise: the spinach artichoke dip was definitely the table favorite. My caprese panini was ok, it was sadly lacking pesto which feels a little criminal for a caprese situation. Our friends loved the fancy French toast & I was absolutely there for the prickly pear mimosas The entire brunch honestly felt like it was one dropped plate away from becoming a sitcom episode. One poor new waiter dropped a plate on the floor, then later knocked glasses off the rack above the bar & shattered a couple right next to guests sitting there. I stumbled upon this spot after a little self-guided tour of ASU campus on a sleepy Sunday morning (everyone must have been asleep after the big football game the day before). I'd forgotten about this spot and it was such a happy surprise to find it again and to see that they survived the pandemic and are still thriving. First visit I ordered: -Cheat Day Wrap: scrambled egg, bacon, white cheddar, smashed avocado, tomato, brown rice (I ordered without rice), and turkey or ham (I skipped these too) *DELISH on a whole wheat wrap!!! However, between the food being overcooked or seemingly held under the heat lamp too long, the meal just didn't leave the impression we had hoped for. One other thing worth knowing if you're visiting: parking is a challenge. The nearby garages appeared to be reserved for valet parking, leaving us to park about a block away to avoid any possibility of being towed. Overall, I'd probably keep this one primarily on the radar for Omni hotel guests looking for convenience, rather than making it a destination breakfast. Hopefully, our experience was an exception, because the concept certainly has potential.
