The second time we ended up w/ the burrito (very small for $9.99) and flatbread. Service: both visits we had the same young gal help us. Very friendly & helpful with suggestions. Ambiance: super cool place. Bright, colorful, eclectic. There are smaller suites inside for other business (mostly beauty stuff - nails & such), and there is some merch on sale that you would find at farmers markets (crocheted items, soaps, etc). Give it a try if you live nearby Starting this post by saying I'm pretty picky in my standards because I frequent so many breakfast and coffee places. I think this place is solid. They have decent food, lots of options including pastries, coffees, etc. I tried a couple things, the best burrito, the protein bubble waffle bowl, an apple danish, and an iced latte flight. I enjoyed everything, but nothing blew me away. The latte flight was visually appealing and I liked the treats it came with, but it was super sweet. I was a little overwhelmed by how sweet each drink was. If extra sweet lattes is your thing then you gotta try this flight. Of the 4 drinks I got I would recommend the Dubai one. Overall, nothing stood out as "this place does it the best so I'll come here over another place." If I lived closer I could see myself coming here every now and then to change things up because once again, it was good just not amazing. read more

Stopped in after a workout at LA Fitness and the owner helped me right away. I ordered a dirty matcha w/ oat milk and he asked if I wanted any flavor? He said blueberry is popular but I opted for strawberry. Came out quick and he told me about their loyalty program where your 7th drink is free and beans are freshly ground. The matcha was good but a little too milky for my taste. I'd probably add two shots of espresso next time. The vibe inside was chill and a little unique. There were a few small businesses sharing the space like an nail tech, someone trading cards, and a candle shop. It gave the place an interesting community feel. Great coffee shop located next to salons and the gym. The shops atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable with plenty of seating. The barista/cashier was extremely nice and he was quick to make my drink. They have an ASU student discount. I went shortly after they opened on a week day and it was pretty quiet, but at have driven by later in the day and they have been pretty busy. I ordered a hot pistachio mocha latte with oatmilk and it was delicious! The combination of pistachio and mocha was really good. The mocha was extremely rich flavored and the pistachio was a accent for the coffee. First off, the staff here were incredible. It's built into a multi-business center but has its own entrance and seating so you don't really notice. They offer flights of matcha, coffee, and food, so those are always fun. The coffee tasted very much like the flavor, as in, the mint mocha tasted like you ate a mint leaf. It was interesting because I respect that it was very flavor forward, but also missed the coffee flavor too at the same time. Beautiful presentation and still tasty regardless. I saw the Yelp reviews and was eager to check out Skyluxx on a day off. I think I may have caught them in the middle of a rebrand, because they didn't necessarily have the menu I had seen online- IE their flights menu. You come for the vibes though... it's got "Do It For The Gram" all over it. Apparently the flight menu wasn't much of a thing at that point (in November). The staff were still kind to make me an iced coffee flight even with DF options! I told them it was an open runway to their liking of what to make me and they all were a slam dunk. The chorizo burro was good - not horribly spicy, but very flavorful. It's a cozy, bright cafe which allows for small groups but nothing more than 3-4 at a time, or solo time. I spent about $15ish which was expected. Definitely a nice spot to add to the SWC of this plaza. read more

This place is a hidden gem!!! When you walk in, there's a cute coffee bar with lots of espresso and matcha options. We opted for the coffee flight to try them all! (They told us that a flight also gets you 1/2 off a full size coffee on your way out!) The sweet bee was my favorite. They also offer food options like oatmeal and breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast. They also offer protein waffles that looked fantastic! If you walk further back, there are several small businesses including an injector, nail tech, candle company, and reading card store. Overall, this was such a cute space and the coffee was delicious. They have seating in the center and in a back room to sit and enjoy. We will definitely be back!! read more

How cute is this space?!?! We were in the area shopping and wanted to get some matcha so we stopped in to check it out. The space is super cute, has rooms to rent for business tenants, and plenty of seating on the coffee side and the lounge next door. Great space to meet up with friends, clients, or to just sit and study or get work done. My friend loves matcha and wanted me to try it. She got the pumpkin pie and I got the banana bread special. Ambiance is a 10/10 -- it's such a cute spot, and the employees have always been really nice. That said, the coffee is pretty basic and not that great. I've been a few times now, and I think only once, maybe twice my latte actually tasted decent. The syrups are just store-bought (meh), and I'm not sure what beans they use, but the flavor isn't there. Today's latte tasted a bit stale and burnt, which was disappointing- and tasted no syrup. What really pushed me to write this review, though, was the sales tax -- it was 11.6%, which seems insanely high. This location is in Tempe, where the standard combined sales tax rate should be around 8.1%, consisting of 5.6% state tax, 0.7% county tax, and 1.8% city tax (the Tempe range is 8.2% - 11.2%) so why 11.60%? I literally walked next door and bought my son donuts, and their tax rate was 8.2%, so I have no idea why this coffee shop is charging 11.6% (above the range). On top of that, they added a 3.5% convenience fee (I'm guessing because I used a debit card instead of cash? Also weird) which just felt excessive. Of course I tipped (I always do), but when I got home and looked at the receipt, I felt kind of frustrated. My latte wasn't good, my son said his matcha was just okay, and with the weird upcharges, I just don't think I'll be going back. Again -- super cute place and nice staff, but the coffee and taxing just don't add up. read more

An absolute adorable coffee shop decked out in blue with an aviation theme. My friend and I shared a valentine flight and it was really good! The pink foam was a nice touch. Loved it. Skyluxx is another coffee shop I've been excited to visit for a long time and it did not disappoint! The decor is so fun and bright, really good music (pop hits, from the last 10 years) and there was plenty of parking available in this plaza. We visited this place on a Sunday morning around 930 and there weren't many customers (and no one dining in). We ordered both of the seasonal coffee flights, a blueberry muffin top and a Belgian waffle. The coffee flights were both delicious and I specifically liked the graham cracker and sea salt caramel. I was really surprised at how delicious the waffle was, and I would recommend that to everyone. The muffin top was good, but drier than I thought it would be. The barista working was very nice! This place is also a day spa/salon, which I never knew, and I think offer waxing, facials and hair services. I can't wait to visit again soon! read more

Best Coffee in town. Recently visited friends in Scottsdale and Tempe. After trying several local coffee shops in both towns my sister told me we have to try Skyluxx. Walking in the aroma of fresh coffee was fantastic. We ordered a couple of double espressos, the latte flight, the banana bread and the coffee cake. Everything was perfect! The nice girl helping us told us about the 10% off coupon on their website for first timers. We pulled up the site on our phone and she gave us the discount. The service was excellent and fast, the decor was nice and comfortable, the drinks were beyond yummy and the food was bakery fresh and so good! Had plans to meet my friends and their family here on Saturday around 11:30am. It wasn't busy so there was no line. A few others came in afterwards . I ordered my stuff first and asked for the coffee flight to come out when they arrived. We took the large table in the lounge area since there was a lot of us. It was a bit chilly in there though. The decor is pretty cute. All sky blue with clouds dangling from the ceiling, neon signs, and blue furniture. This isn't really a good place for small children. I could tell others were a bit annoyed with the noise. 2 people who were sitting in the lounge moved outside. Our order: Sausage veggie burrito Spooky Flight (swapped one out for a the banana bread latte) Bacon burritos x2 Breakfast sandwich Blueberry Scone Waffle We thought they still had burrito flights and that was one reason why we came but they no longer offer that. My friend wanted the coffee flight that wasn't sweet, which is also no longer on the menu. My burrito was ok flavor wise. I liked the crunch from the panini press and the hot sauce. They all agreed about food. My Spooky flight was too sweet for me, especially the macadamia nut one. He let me switch out the cream for the banana bread when I ordered and the banana bread latte ended up being the only one I really liked! Service was great. They're nice. Upon entry, I'm always immediately greeted, and the staff is so friendly. Inside, you'll find your self surrounded in a blue heaven like atmosphere with fluffy cloud light fixtures & blue all around- from the sofas to the trees! The coffee shop shares its space with a few suites that are occupied by lash artists, hair stylists and more! They offer an array of caffeine options and even coffee flights! Choose from smoothies or teas as well if coffee isn't what you're looking for. There is even a good sized lounge area for those who need to hang out and get some work done- perfect spot to do so as noise level is low. Here at Skyluxx Coffee, they have four flights, with one of them being food related, one of them being matcha related, and two of the flights being coffee related. I got the pastel flight ($12.50 - Lavender white chocolate latte, creamy salted caramel latte, blueberry lavender breve, and a blackberry and caramel latte). I had wanted the burrito flight, but they were sadly out. I also got The Protein Goddess ($8 for a 20oz. creamy peanut butter, oat milk, cookies and cream protein, and bananas) on the side since I just got out of cycle class. All good sips! I love the idea of coffee, burrito and tea flights so this little shop is just right for me. I've had two different flights, both a coffee and matcha flight. The coffee flight was the better of the two as I'm not a fan of the bitterness of the matcha they use. The matcha flight also tasted a bit too gritty for me. The coffee flight was good, with smooth coffee, velvety foam and just the right amount of sweetness. For some of the cups it was a little hard to distinguish the actual flavor other than a generic sweetness but they tasted good nonetheless. The burritos are decent and while I was disappointed that they were out of the burrito flights at my last visit that means I'll have to come back to try them when they are actually in stock. Service has always been friendly and prompt. The building also has several independent shops inside ranging from hair services to tattoos. read more

I've been waited for a protein waffle for over 20 minutes which in itself feels excessive. There wasn't a lot of people, it was not packed. The young lady who initially assisted was very professional and had great service but the second young lady working there did not. When I asked for an update on my waffle, she seemed annoyed that I wasn't aware that it was taking so long because it was only 3 people working the shift and then she seemed annoyed by my presence. I feel bad for the gentleman who then assisted me in the end and tried to give me a card to remedy the situation but after dealing with the second girl, on top of waiting so long for my waffle-to-go, there's simply no way I'm returning. My drink was ok, not grand but not disappointing aside from getting it 20 minutes before my food which meant my drink wasn't hot anymore when I got my waffle. read more

I wasn't excited about the tiramisu mocha (I'm just usually not a fan of either flavor so I ordered knowing this) but all the other flavors sounded good so I went with it. I wasn't excited so let down by the banana's foster! I tasted no hint of banana. Not even a little bit. I didn't hate or love the tiramisu mocha. It was ok. The teddy graham latte was my fav. The salty caramel latte was nice. Usually with salted caramel drinks, you don't taste much if the salty flavor but this one had a great balance of salty and sweet. The coffee flavor was not really strong in any of the drinks. It was $14.68 after tax and convenience fee. Not too bad. The server was really nice and sweet. She was cleaning while I was there. The bathroom needs toilet covers but idk if that's the problem of skyluxx since it is in a shared salon suite. The music they play is always soothing. Stumbled upon Skyluxx Coffee back in July while I was out running errands. The space was decorated with a lot of blue hues and sky-themed decor, creating a cozy and inviting space. The barista was welcoming and helpful, and answered all of my questions patiently. I ordered my go-to, an oat milk latte with cinnamon and honey. I opted for iced due to the hot weather. It was solid and had the right blend of cinnamon and honey. I also wanted to try one of their breakfast items, especially the burrito, but they had just run out. Posh coffee shop located centrally in Tempe right near 60 (Mill Ave). I used to frequent the LA Fitness for step class when I lived in the area. I opted to check this place out for breakfast and a pick me up. The coffee shop is surrounded by the Sky Luxx Suites. The cafe itself is super spacious with ample sitting area. We were able to order and hang out in the adjoining room. The adjoining room is so cute and bright. I could totally see throwing a baby shower. The adjoining room is available for rentals. For food I ordered the Spicy Sausage Breakfast Burrito. It was very tasty and the side of habenero salsa hit the spot. I enjoyed that they pressed the burrito which made the tortilla taste so good. I would order the spicy breakfast burro again. In addition to the Burrito, I was able to try the breakfast cookie. I tried the Oatmeal Raisin breakfast cookie which was soft but not too sweet. For drinks, I ordered the Spicy Chai Latte with a shot of espresso. I enjoyed my Latte and was happy their barista was comfortable with lots of customization. All in all such a cute spot. Ok, so I saw the COFFEE sign banner from the parking lot when I was coming for a Mochinut donut and corndog. First thing you notice is the clean and professional signage and decor in this brightly lit shop with cute furniture and decor. Mattai was quite friendly and courteous and made a great cup of coffee. The vibe here is just super cool chill and a touch of elegance in my opinion. Discovered this new coffee shop right in the plaza off off of southern and mill and it was so cute from the outside I had to check it out! First of all the decor is super cute and totally my color palette with tons of turquoise and white. When you first walk in, on the right hand side is the barista area where you can order drinks and light bites. All along the left wall are small individual rooms with glass doors that nail, hair, and other technicians can rent out. I thought this was such a cool concept! Straight ahead there's a waiting area with comfy chairs. In the room to the right there's a bunch of tables and chairs for you to sit comfortably at to enjoy your coffee, work and/or catch-up with a friend. This location is super convenient for me and I am so excited for this new addition to the plaza. I will return for future meetups and to try some of their other coffee and tea drinks soon! read more

Here's the review, plain and simple: The coffee isn't anything to write home about. I got a flavored Americano and it was suuuuper sweet (recommend halving it), and my boyfriend got an energy drink. Nothing blew our minds, but the service was great, the location was unique (tons of small businesses inside), and it didn't break the bank (roughly $10 with a 22% tip). I love that they include other small women owned companies in each of their smaller suites it feels very inclusive and special.
