Local coffee shop located in Chandler west of the I-10. The shop shares a parking lot with a couple of businesses and the parking is crowded. The shop itself is a pretty good size and has a very fun vintage atmosphere, with lots of seating. When I went, it was extremely busy almost every seat was filled. Even with how busy it was, the staff were really nice and they provided quick service. I ordered a large hot lavendar latte with oatmilk. I was told that the lavendar syrup is homemade and you can definitely tell, it is now my favorite lavendar latte location, if you like the taste of lavendar this syrup is for you. The coffee is rich but not too oily and the large size is decent. Overall fun shop and good coffee.
Yet another coffee shop. At this point, visiting cute coffee shops has become somewhat of a lifestyle - the ultimate irony for a girl who can't handle caffeine. Thankfully, Where U Bean has decaf espresso, which means I had lots of possible options for drinks. They offer direct trade coffee and organic teas, and homemade treats as well. Their drinks are creative and very tasty. I had the brown butter chocolate chip cookie with my coffee, and it was to die for. You can sit at tables and work, or sink in comfy couches and look around at the eclectic art. And eclectic it is, maybe my only semi-negative feedback is that it was hard to see how the name related to the decoration theme, or whether there was an overall theme at all. That's hardly a criticism though, I like places that go in many directions, it give them character. That wall of vinyls is epic! Parking was easy as the shop is located in a plaza. Plenty of spots available on a Sunday afternoon. Based on other reviews, it sounds like it's not always the case. Also, it's open until later compared to other coffee shops, which is nice if you want to spend an afternoon of teleworking. The coffee shop itself was quite crowded, but not so much that we couldn't find seats. And the staff was very friendly, which is always a plus!
I really wanted to hang out and drunk my drink inside this inviting coffee shop. It was full of people working or chatting with friends. I ordered my iced Carmel drink to go because I needed to go home. The pastries looked really good and I was tempted but my iced drink was enough. I got in my car and drove home. The drink I sipped along my way was delicious. It was gone way too fast. I will go back and take my husband because they make Cuban coffee. Not many places here make it and it is really good. I will have a pastry next time.
While in Ahwatukee, I popped by WhereUbean. The friendly neighborhood service was welcoming. Since it was the 12th of Feb and a couple of days before Valentine's Day I had to order the "please date me" latte. ($7.) It was delightful and distinct with the date syrup and rose water. Next time I would choose almond milk because the oatmilk (+1. ) overpowered the delicate rose notes. To my surprise, gluten free food options were available at this non chain business. A chocolate chip almond cookie, peppermint bark cheesecake and an almond cake all tempted me. I went with the almond cake and enjoyed the fresh, moist, sweet treat that was topped with toasted slivered almonds. Winner. Even though I think the tab was a tad high for a morning coffee break ($16.36) I would return. I enjoyed my time here while observing the local patrons interact neighborly with each other. The homey community vibe oozed throughout this cafe which Starbucks doesn't provide. A charming cafe that seats 35 patrons inside and approximately 18 people outside. Stop on by.
First things first - parking. I arrived around 5:30pm to meet my boyfriend who just arrived to Phoenix as visiting me (long distance). The parking lot was very busy, and hard to maneuver. This will likely deter me returning to this location in the later afternoon/evening, but I imagine parking is easier in the morning. Upon entering, I noticed lots of cozy seating and work stations as those are the most used reasons to visit a coffee shop. My boyfriend was nestled in a couch like seating with a coffee table. Definitely perfect for him waiting for me to pick him up when I finished work. He remarked about the records on the wall, and lots of the decor as it was a cutesy coffee shop. For my coffee beverage, I ordered a flat white as it's a good indicator of a decent coffee shop. Happy to report they passed the raw sugar test (put raw sugar on top and quality foam should hold up the sugar). They have great espresso and use one of the best espresso machines I've seen at coffee shops (La Marzocco). Loved the flavor and the foam was divine! Definitely return here for the coffee alone as it's worth braving the parking lot.
Met a friend at WhereUBean in Ahwatukee, and we had such a great time. It's such a cute coffee spot. The staff is amazing, and the coffee and pastries are so good. Definitely a great spot to work or catch up with friends or family!
Clean-tasting iced latte, no aftertaste Music in the background isn't blaring. I loved the vinyl wall decor. Visually interesting and fun to look at the records they collected. Ample seating inside. Honestly, a solid coffee shop. The only downside is its location. It's at the city limits, so I wouldn't drive all the way there. But if I'm in the area, I would definitely go back.

Coffee wise, WhereUBean has some of the the area! The baristas are awesome and super helpful. I really like their Iced Dirty Chai and the Smores Please Latte. Pair that with one of their cookies and it's game over! You can get breakfast or lunch food along with a ton of other pastry items as well.
super cute cafe with cozy vibes. there's lots of drinks including seasonal specials. I got the maple tahini silk latte (it also came in chai, matcha, or cold brew!) ($6.55 post tax) and it was pretty good -- the tahini was strong and the nuttiness complemented the espresso well. the maple was subtle and not too sweet
The ambiance of this place is very nice. Small cozy coffee shop inside with some comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. The food was good! Sort of standard breakfast burrito. I do like how it was finished in a panini press to get the nice crispy grill marks on the outside. Picked this place on a random yelp review .. I figured it might be good as the shop was busy w people already at 9 am on a Thursday. The matcha specials looked interesting and the flavor combos were unique like banana foam matcha and cinnamon vanilla. The naked goods all looked amazing and were made in house . It was hard to choose . I went with a cinnamon vanilla latte it was a good smooth flavor and not overly sweet which I like . I chose the blueberry oatmeal tart . It was simple not overly sweet and moist . If you like all things Dubai chocolate they have lots of drinks , treats and bars to choose from . It was a little gem hidden in a strip mall, I will go back
Immediately when I entered this coffee shop, I was feeling the welcoming vibes. I liked the various array of furniture pieces to choose from. We picked the cushioned seats up front by the window. Felt like a perfect morning to sit, relax, and gossip over a fig foam latte. I've never had that in my coffee. So it was definitely a quick pick for me! I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. I got hints of the fig flavor. The staff members were so nice and friendly. An easy A+. And since it's as autumn as it's going to get in Arizona, the pumpkin cheesecake fit the bill. It was quite tasty - nice, light, airy, and not too sweet. It had a nice graham crust to it. I definitely would come back to try more.
This place has some pretty cool vibes, drinks, and treats! Upon walking in, it was very chill with people either reading/using their laptops or meeting with friends/family for coffee. The decor was very upbeat, yet peaceful and comfy. Definitely a place to relax, have some coffee, and hang out! My daughter (4 years old) and I went to meet a friend here for coffee, tea, and chocolate milk (for my kiddo). Given this was our first time here, I decided to not only give their drinks a try, but also try their bakery as well. My friend, who had been here before, mentioned that their breakfast burritos were amazing! I wanted to try, but unfortunately, they were sold out. Mind you, I arrived at 8am. They must be pretty good if they sell out that quick. For my drink, I had an iced pumpkin chai. It was absolutely delicious! If you like pumpkin flavor, the flavor here definitely gave me "pumpkin pie" vibes, which I LOVE! It was so good! Along with my drink, I also had a chocolate pumpkin loaf and a zucchini loaf. My daughter absolutely LOVED the pumpkin loaf (mostly for the chocolate) lol. I, too, enjoyed the pumpkin loaf as it was very moist. They also warm it just enough for the chocolate to melt when you pull it apart. Let's not forget the "fall vibes" it brings too! The zucchini bread was very good too, but you definitely have to have a liking for zucchini bread to appreciate it! This loaf was also soft and moist, which made it taste delicious! It was also made in with nuts as well, which I think was the part my daughter really didn't like about the bread. Overall, it was good! I found WhereUBean from a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. This is a coffee shop that knows exactly who it is, and by truly being themselves, they've built something special. The counter is covered in stickers from coffee spots all over, so you can tell this crew has been around and built real relationships along the way. They're sourcing from Intelligentsia, so the coffee itself is dialed in from the start. There's also a community board by the counter, full of local business cards and notices. It tells you this isn't just a coffee shop, it's a hub for the neighborhood. They even put out a newsletter to keep people plugged into what's happening around the shop. That's one I haven't seen in a while - these things take time and heart to put together...so well done guys The menu is where it gets fun, especially the summer menu. Somebody clearly had a blast putting these drinks together. Looking around, the café is this unique blend of styles and tastes, and that blend just works...beautifully so. I grabbed an espresso and just enjoyed the energy of the place. There's a wall of records with a story behind it you'll have to go in and hear for yourself, and the vintage art scattered throughout ties the whole space together. This is what a truly grounded and authentic coffee shop looks like. Loved it - and will be back. Well worth the visit. read more

Met a friend here for an early AM coffee and place was decently quiet but with lots of folks still in and out for coffee. Plenty of seating and cool little vibe overall. This is a great local coffee shop! I wanted a fall drink and to work remotely for a bit and this spot was absolutely perfect for both! I got the pumpkin pie latte and it was delicious, like a liquid dessert. It even had crushed nuts on top creating a great presentation. It's very cozy inside with plushy chairs and couches to sit on as well as wooden chairs. There's some cool decor like a wall of vinyls and pencil drawings on the table top. Service was pretty quick. read more

Super happy with my visit here. I haven't had a delicious well made matcha in a long time! There were a bit of options on how it was to be made, and thankfully the barista was very patient and kind and helped navigate on the taste that would best fit me. Sorry I. Can't remember my order exactly but I did macadamia milk with I think a brown sugar syrup. It was perfectly hot (hate when drinks are lukewarm) Not sure if the shades were just drawn around 2 pm but it had a moody vibe and very relaxing. There's a bit of clutter on the way to the restroom, but the restrooms were clean (and there's only one restroom) Love that they have plenty of cozy seating like sofas and comfortable chairs. Can't wait to sit and read here again read more

Had a delicious zucchini bread (maybe the best I've ever had!) and phenomenal Warda Matcha (WOW!). Two amazing items-nothing has ever disappointed me here!! Staff is always super sweet and helpful when trying to decide (they have SO many yummy choices it can be tough!). Also the cozy and welcoming atmosphere makes you want to stay. Will be back again and again! read more

Fun to try! Unique seasonal drink options, not much room for modification though. A couple (3) GF options in the pastry cabinet. Big space, sort of cluttered with old fashioned wooden furniture. Lots of people inside around 2pm on a Saturday. Would be interested in trying again during fall/winter season. read more
The outside is deceiving. It looks like it will be a regular ole coffee shop, but upon entrance it's cozy and has repurposed furniture which I love. I ordered a matcha tea with almond milk and agave. They use ceremonial grade matcha and it is legit. They also have multiple bakery options, including multiple vegan and gluten free options. I eat dairy and gluten free so this was a bonus. The service is friendly and prompt. I will definitely be back! read more

Overall pretty good. Heard it was one of the better coffee spots in all of Arizona and I would say it meets the criteria for that. The espresso tonic and cardamom latte was yummy. Nice medium roast coffee beans. Their matcha was on the blander and more watery side, even with vanilla sweetener. read more
Can't believe it took me so long but I finally visited this local coffee spot! It's a ways away from me but they were doing a fundraiser for Palestine so I trekked over. The parking lot was full on a Saturday afternoon so I parked in the lot next to the physical therapy place. It was pretty busy when I went as well but no one was waiting in line so it was good timing. I took a few moments to review their menu and the pastry display cases, lots to choose from. Their drink menu is fairly standard for a coffee shop and they had some seasonal specials that looked good. I ordered their please date me latte, a chocolate croissant, and a brookie (half brownie, half cookie). The baristas were friendly and my drink was prepared quickly. It was supposed to have date pieces but I didn't have any, and it tasted like rose so I'm wondering if they gave me a different drink instead. It was very tasty though! The brookie was delicious as well with two of my favorite desserts in one: chocolate chip cookie and brownie. The chocolate croissant was one of the best I've ever had, it didn't look like it had enough chocolate filling but it was the perfect amount with lots of dough layers and a salty flavor. It's dead from the outside but once you walk in you are transported to the perfect little coffee shop. It's warm scents and cozy feels all throughout. The barista was super helpful! There's also great music and incense burning. read more
If you're ever in the area, you need to actually take a few hours of your day and chill at WhereUBean Coffee. It's super cozy with a wall filled of classic records. Love the warm undertones inside the cafe with string lights and plants. The large iced coffee has four shots of espresso so be careful when you drink it. The quinoa grain salad was so delicious. I love the vinaigrette they used. I was surprised that they had vegan brownies, but it was a little sour. I think there was too much baking soda in the mix. Overall, the customer service was excellent, and I would love to try other things on their menu. read more

We drove by WUB probably a dozen times. Honestly it doesn't look to promising of a coffee shop on the outside and even their online presence isn't doing it for me. We stopped by with extra time to spare and boy we only regret passing it up all those times. WhereUBean Coffee is the unsung hero of Ahwatukee and Chandler. I am a sucker for an Espresso Tonic and this one delivered. Not too sweet not too bitter. I've been a fan of Intelligenstia Coffee for a number of years coming from LA and that's what they serve here at WUB. That right there is bonus points. Upon arrival there were a couple of folks hanging around. The staff was attentive and helpful when it came to ordering. The barista behind the bar had confirmed that I like my espresso tonic on the sweeter side before she made it. I appreciate it when baristas give me a heads up in a drink before it's too late. It's cozy inside, dated, but generally nice. We will be stopping by WUB whenever we have a chance! I definitely recommend it! read more

We have decaf espresso so can easily make you an iced americano if you like. That’s the closest to an iced coffee.
