I wanted to update my review because I frequent this location often and they deserve an update....THIS LOCATION DESERVES 5 STARS FOR AMBIANCE, FOOD AND SERVICE I have tried various Paris Baguette locations but this is 100% my favorite location, so glad it is in my hometown. Not only do they offer a crazy variety of delicious fresh pastries, drinks, sandwiches, breads, etc....they have beautifully decorated cakes that honestly are so good. I have to point out that they have one of the best tasting green tea, and they literally have the best service anyone can ask for. I don't know how she does it, but Ashley brews this green tea perfectly. While most other Paris Baguette locations have the same green tea, they honestly do not taste exactly the same (Phoenix location on Baseline/32nd St is a totally different tea). When Ashley, Kailey, Dania. Richard and Daniel work together, they emit such high, positive and fun energy. They clearly look like they have fun while dealing with so many customers (and some customers are plain mean). These PB employees are so pleasant, efficient and really are an asset to this organization. Love seeing Ashley, Kailey and Dania's smiling face as soon as you walk in, they will definitely greet you. Stopped by here for the first time. I didn't know that they have an app to earn rewards. There is a welcome offer, free pastry with purchase. Also, they have $2 drink special with purchase during their 3pm to 6pm Happy Hour. All offers are through the app. It can take about 15 minutes to show up for new accounts, so I recommend downloading the app before you head to the bakery. There were so many great options to pick from. We really liked the hazelnut filled croissant and will plan to get that again! All the ones we have tried so far are good. I regularly shop at H Mart which has a small Paris Baguette and remember hearing about a stand alone opening but didn't realize it was so close to Chandler fashion center! There was so many self serve options for savory but also desserts. I absolutely loved the Hash brown Ham and Cheese roll it was so good that I told my brother I was tempted to go back and buy out the whole shelf . They have quick service. You choose the pastries from the pastry shelves and bring it to the front register. They have a variety of pastries. There are sweet ones and there are savory ones. Not too many people there. They might be there in the morning. I heard that you have to get there first thing in the morning to get the pastries that you want. This was our first time going here and we love it! Everyone was nice and friendly. Well put together. I liked that I can look and see what I want and I can grab it. They have plenty of tongs and trays with a liner to use and keep it clean. I had the cake and took the donut home. My cake was very delicious, soft and perfect to taste. Blown away by how good the sandwiches are here. I was up for some late afternoon Christmas shopping errands and had to go to Hobby Lobby to get supplies. I have recently adopted a habit of giving art that I myself create as Xmas gifts, when I have the time. Today I needed to fuel up for the task at hand, and my roommate thwarted my lunch plans by improperly storing last night's leftovers, so I was flying impulsively. I happened upon Paris Baguette, because it's in the same shopping center as Hobby Lobby, and it had caught my eye in the past. Let me just say that I didn't have high hopes. I grabbed my newspaper crossword puzzles and a pencil, and self-served a pre-made baguette sandwich out of their grab-and-go freezer. I figured the Chicken Caesar sando would suffice while I knocked out another crossword puzzle. After paying for my combo (sandwich, chips, and a fountain drink), I presumed my sammie might be underseasoned. So I grabbed some mayo, black pepper, and hot sauce packets (Tapatio) at the self-serve station. Boy, was I wrong! The sandwich was quite tasty! The baguette itself was perfect... just the right amount of chew to the crust and light enough as to not weigh down the sandwich. Think Jimmy Johns... if a French chef forcibly beat him up with a crusty bread lesson. The chicken was well seasoned with Parmesan and tangy Caesar dressing notes. I was happy I made it more creamy with the extra mayo I applied, but I suspect it would not have been dry without my modifications. And, who knew that Caesar dressing, mayo, Tapatio and black pepper would make such a savory, slathery sandwich dressing? I had to scrabble it up in my chops! And the dining environment couldn't have been more peaceful. I was not the only one dining alone. I got to stake out my seat, spread out my single-diner arrangement for optimal sandwich snarfing and crossword puzzling, and chow down whilst I furiously pencilled in my brain-teasing solutions. A perfect pop-in dining experience! Who knows? This could become a regular dining routine, without having to don a beret, a stripey shirt, and a pencil thin moustache! I grew up in Europe and just recently came back from France, so I can honestly say that this place is not like any patisserie in Europe. The restaurant has nice European style tables and chairs, although they were not clean when we arrived. At some point someone did come around to clean them. The pastries look nice in the case, but we were not exactly blown away by the taste. I expected better than "supermarket bakery quality", based on the price that was being charged. I do like that they show you how many calories each item has. The cafe is completely self serve! All you get is a white plastic tray with a piece of wax paper on it and some plastic utensils. They don't even give you a plate or a real cup. There is a lot of hype around this place, but real Europeans won't be impressed. I think this will be a one and done for us. read more

First timers and have to admit...it was a bit overwhelming with the amount of pastries and goodies they offer in the cases when you first walk in. There is a huge combination of sweet and savory options and we decided to try a couple of the breakfast sandwiches; I had the Sourdough Supreme Breakfast Sandwich which I asked for heated. Their sandwiches are premade and you can request it to go or for them to heat it up in order to eat it there. This sandwich was made on some yummy, sourdough bread along with cheddar cheese, a hard cooked egg and a ton of bacon. I'm a picky bacon eater and ended up taking all of it off because it wasn't cooked crispy, which is how I eat it. There was a ton of it and it was sliced very very thin. I also got a package of mayo to squeeze onto it. Overall a decent breakfast sandwich. Wife had the Bacon, Egg, Cheese Croissant which she also asked to have heated up. She said it was "OK" and didn't mind the bacon. We also chose three sweets to round out our visit. I picked the Mini Strawberry Lemon Cream Croissant and oh my gosh! It was not overly sweet but that creamy custard was perfect, smooth, and a perfect lemon finish. The croissant was light and tender and the strawberry was a great compliment. Such a fantastic sweet treat! Wife grabbed one of the Sweet Rice Donut, which we both agreed wasn't our liking. The out crust was rolled in a ton of cinnamon sugar and the donut itself didn't really have a flavor. When you cut it open, the filling is a red bean paste (not a lot of it) and I didn't care for it. The other goody she got was the pecan tart. We were expecting a mini pecan pie but there really wasn't that gooey filling and we felt the actual tart was a tad dry. Familiar with their pastries and flair, I chose to order my dad's birthday cake here this year instead of the usual go-to (sorry, TLJ). I went with the Soufflé Cheesecake--$40 of pillowy goodness. It was light, airy, and just the right touch of sweet. A lovely balance for a celebratory treat. While I was at it (you know how it goes), I dove into a few more items: - Dubai Chocolate Mochi Doughnut ($5.19) - Pistachio Supreme Croissant ($5.75) - Garlic Sausage Pastry ($4.89) - Croissant Doughnut ($4.99) - 20oz Iced Pistachio Latte ($5.99) - 16oz Dubai Chocolate Matcha Latte ($6.99) Oh, and that Dubai Chocolate Tart? A decadent $10.05 piece of indulgence and also quite costly compared to their other items. One flavor note worth mentioning: many of their pistachio items leaned heavily on almond extract. While it does mimic the essence of pistachio fairly well, especially in pastries like the mochi doughnut and the tart, I wasn't as keen on it in the latte. It's a common swap, almond extract being more accessible and affordable than true pistachio. That said, this location is a solid win. It's roomy, well-stocked, and a noticeable step up from the H Mart branch. Service was friendly, though they weren't accepting gift cards (a slight hiccup in an otherwise smooth experience). Delicious pastries and drinks to pair up with. Paris Baguette has colorful, light, airy and not too sweet cakes, cake slices, and pastries that I love to order for multiple occasions. Some of their items include the sliced milk bread loaf, sandwiches (do the savories), mochi donuts (Dubai, vanilla, strawberry), cronut, and fruit tarts. They have a range of coffees, teas and a few matcha options to cater to all. You can even watch the staff make the cakes which can be fun to see the behind the scenes. You can use the Paris Baguette app to pre-order items and accumulate points. This came in handy for ordering cakes and mochi donuts for a party. Too bad I didn't sign up for the app in the very beginning because I did miss out on points. Points can get you rewards for free items depending on what it is. For example, 75 points can get you a free pasty, donut, cookie, coffee or tea. You can obtain points after a purchase with a receipt but it has to be done in a 7 day window I believe. Wow! This place seems to be a bit better than the Mesa location. The restaurant was busy! Luckily, I grabbed what I could. I got some egg tarts, a Dubai chocolate mochi donut and a fruit pastry. It dwarfs their H Mart location but some of their items were pricey. $10 for a Dubai Chocolate Tart? $40 for a petite Soufflé Cheesecake? Now open in Chandler across the street from Chandler Mall! There are still balloon arches outside for the opening. They took over the spot where Pieology used to be. The place is bright and clean inside and staff were all friendly. They have many options to choose from for both sweet and savory pastries. They also have lunch items, cakes and drinks. I like that they have some things here that you wont find at other bakeries such as the dubai chocolate mochi donut, pistachio croissant, crookie and caprese baguette. If you'd like, you can have the baguette sandwiches heated up and cut in half if you're eating it there. Prices here are much higher than other bakeries though. I printed my receipt but never got it. If I remember correctly, my total for 8 pastries, 2 baguette sandwiches and 1 pistachio latte w/oat milk was $75-80!! The sandwiches are $10.50 each. The staff were very nice, I just wish there was someone greeting at the door and guiding people. It's one of those bakery's that is partially self serve which was confusing some people causing them to knock into people and cause traffic flow issues. There is an ample number of employees, yet only one person working the cash register. I felt like I was waiting forever, just to order a slice of cake. Additionally, this is not entirely their fault, but a customer cut in front of me and another and the cashier allowed it. Food - now I've been to Paris Baguette throughout the years, both in AZ and in CA. First of all, they need to be careful with prices for their cold dessert case offerings ... they are on the high side and this goes for PB in general, they should all be $1 less than what they are currently. In regards to what I specifically got, I tried the pistachio strawberry cake since this is an item I have not had before. I was excited to try it, but met with extreme disappointment. One sniff, and I backed away because of how much artificial pistachio extract was in it. If I knew the only REAL pistachio was the small crumbs on top, I would have gotten something else. It looked pretty, but not worth almost $8 after tax. Additionally, I had to tell the server I wanted this cake 5 times before she pointed to the right cake. I love the bread and pastries here! I usually grab a croquette , curry is my go-to, but I tried the crab meat one today and it was delicious. I'll sometimes treat myself to a fruit tart too, depending on my mood. The mini fruit tart section does get a bit crowded though, and it's always a little tricky to pick one up without accidentally squeezing it. Lately, I've been trying different croissants since they have so many options. The chocolate ones have all been great so far! Their cake slices are also really good thats not too sweet. The shop is always clean and welcoming, which I appreciate. My only small wish is that they'd put some hand sanitizer near the tray station, so people can use it before handling the bread.
