Dutch Bros Fact: Dutch Bros was founded in 1992 by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma in Grants Pass, Oregon, starting as a pushcart. It is now a publicly traded, drive-thru-focused company with over 900 locations and is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. Like all Dutch Bros, everyone here is so friendly and talkative. Even if there's a queue of cars behind you, they'll still ask about your day and any plans you might have later. Even though it's freakin' Arizona and our summers are hot hot hot, if there's more than a couple cars in line, they usually send someone out to get your order ready since they work at lightning speed here. Just pull up to the window, pay, ALWAYS tip, and drive away feeling like you've made friends with the barista. Oh, and don't forget to grab the monthly stickers because who doesn't love stickers? I was being adventurous this time. At other beverage places, I usually like their matcha drinks. Despite not liking the matcha drink here, I found the service to be quick and easy. I usually like matcha drinks, but this one was not to my liking. I ordered the matcha with strawberry. The matcha was a bit more veggie or grassy tasting here. The strawberry was a pale pink liquid at the bottom of the cup. Other places use real strawberry puree. I also took the standard two percent milk in it. Dutch bro is a drive thru or walk up window kind of place. Very few locations have indoor seating. I have seen one or two such places. Others have very limited outside seating. I would not get the matcha here again. I am unsure about getting the green apple or strawberry smoothie flavors again. I would get the mango smoothie flavor again. I didn't like the strawberry tea or the electric berry tea as much as the mango smoothie or the strawberry smoothie. read more

Stopped through with my daughter and her friend for 2 golden eagles. Very rich and sugary drinks can be had here. They're not that cheap either it was $16 for 2 drinks. I will allow it because it was a special occasion, but definitely would not be my daily stop. I liked how the lines are sorted like chic fila, and they bring you your drinks in line, so it does move quickly. read more

The same issue as every other Dutch Bros. They have a 2 lane order system that is basically on the honor system. You can wait forever and someone cuts in and won't let you in and they don't care. It's infuriating that they don't care about your time or whether you are a regular or not. I won't be back. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with this location. Today I found a brown hair in my drink, which I know was not mine -- my hair was in a slick back, and my friend with me has red hair. This isn't the first issue I've had here either. I've found plastic in my drink before (twice), and now this happened. Finding foreign objects in drinks is really concerning and unacceptable. I am a frequent customer and it seems their main priority is drive the drive thru or making their own drinks. Multiple times they have skipped me or my family and we only had 2 drinks. Or in the drive thru line they deliver drink carriers filled with drinks to their friend's car and talk with them while everyone else in the line is waiting for their drinks fairly in line. Specially today when i walked up to the front i ordered 2 drinks, a myst and a tea and waited 20 mins while people who ordered after me had already received their drinks and left, after 20 mins i finally went up to ask about my drinks and it was just sitting there and the employee working did not apologize and my drink had been sitting for 20 mins and was completely watered down. with melted ice. the employee working just said he "forgot" about it. Giving the top of ratings for this store because of the staff here! This is close to our house and we come...a lot!!!! Always greeted with friendly, talkative staff who are quick to take orders and check in to see how you are. There are varying differences between all of the people, some more talkative than others, but overall the vibe is hopping! I went to Dutch Bros last night and had such an amazing experience. It was 10:40 PM, right before they closed. I was dealing with a toddler who was still awake and pregnant, but I needed caffeine to stay up until my toddler finally fell asleep. Aiden helped me at the window, guiding me to pick the right drink since I don't usually go to Dutch Bros. He asked about my night, and I told him all about it. He was so genuine and even asked if my baby girl wanted some water. It was such a great experience that I'm switching from Starbucks to Dutch Bros. I love Dutch bros and usually love this location. But today I put in a mobile order and I guess their mobile ordering was down. Things happen totally get it, but the barista was so rude about it. It wasn't my fault your system was down and I understand it can be aggravating, but don't take it out on a customer. Convenient location, friendly staff and of course, great drinks. I normally get the cold brews, but I've been trying all the iced teas. I've recently tried the Palm Beach, the Hyperchrome, and the Tropical which have all been pretty good. The husband likes the rebels, and the little one enjoys the frosts. Stopped in before an appt and felt lucky to be 2nd in line at the drive thru. Placed my order with the clerk standing outside and waited 15 mins while the clerk at the window chatted up the guy in the car ahead of me. I heard it all; the driver's dog had puppies, the clerk wanted to see pics, they were adorable, etc. They chit chatted for 15 mins while a line of cars formed behind mine. When it was finally my turn I told the clerk that I would have appreciated faster service. He pulled back the hand that was holding my drink, sat it on the counter, folded his arms and asked, "So, what would you like to talk about?" Two minutes later I drove off with my cold coffee. Easy to pull in, choose the quickest lane, and wait for someone to walk up and take your order. Faster than ever using the app. Ordered a Palm Beach lemonade and a hot Americano. Pulled up to the window and grabbed our drinks - with a stopper and a straw. Asked about stickers since it was May Day (the first of each month is sticker day), but they were out. Most of Dutch Bros's drinks so loaded with sugar, way more than soda. It seems like they are always so busy and the line just snakes around and out into the street. The employees are pretty quick and they have a good system down for taking orders in the drive thru. They are also so energetic, which is a little much for me sometimes but kudos to them. They were still really peppy in the middle of summer while drenched in sweat working the drive thru with no shade. My very first Dutch experience. The good news is that I had two more opportunities on my road trip through Arizona to explore their menu and discover the greatness of Dutch Bros. Service was very friendly and patient here. The girl at the walk-up window understood that I was new, and admittedly in over-my-head trying to figure out their menu. She gave me some good recommendations. I ended up choosing an iced coffee annihilator. The drink tasted fine but it ended up being mostly ice. Luckily when I ordered my drink the cashier gave me a mostly punched out loyalty card so that I could come back and try something else on the menu in the future. I did just that in Flagstaff and had a much better drink experience. So while the iced coffee drink wasn't the best, the service was really friendly and informative. I did end up giving Dutch Bros another try in another city and it was amazing. So, I'll chalk up my drink here as an anomaly. Recommend. Tip - Study the menu before coming to Dutch Bros. I got a deconstructed Rebel and they did not prepare correctly and very disappointed in the service!

The drive thru line is ridiculous. It routinely wraps around the building then overflows into the street which blocks residents of The Met or guests at the nearby hotels from entering the parking lot. Dutch Brothers once had employees outside to guide the traffic but I think they've stopped doing that. read more

This location is a joke. I highly recommend the owner do some random checks. There was no line when we got there- so drove straight up to the window. However, it was almost impossible to order because the music was blaring. The woman taking the order at the window kept messing up the order and then giggling - while saying "the music is so loud". She literally could not hear over the music they were playing. Three guys inside - none working at anything other than singing to the music and staring at each other. Ordering a sugar free drink there seems to be a crap shoot- because when I asked her to read it back, one of the syrups was not sugar free- told her it had to be all sugar free syrups as it was for a type 1 diabetic. I don't think that even registered with her. Completely blank stare. We only ordered two drinks and it took forever as she kept messing up- although I know this only because I asked her to read everything back to me. It was like watching a group of buzzed teenagers hanging out in a basement- not working- just hanging out. Want people to come back to your location- run it better. Turn down the f*^#ing music and offer some customer service. Think it doesn't matter??? Well- guess again. People order special coffee and pay a high price for it. These orders can also be specific due to medical / health reasons. If your employees don't seem to care- why would I come back? Waste of time and money at this location. It was our first time and all the options were so overwhelming but I was happy that DEZ took her time and walked us through the menu, she was very patience and had great customer service!
