There are usually a couple gals behind the counter, watching the screen while you place your order ... waiting patiently as you peruse their many choices, trying to decide which tea to order. They are super friendly and very helpful. This visit we ordered the ginger chai, vanilla bean cream latte. I preferred the ginger chai, but my sister thought hers was betters. Our second visit we ordered the orange bianco, along with the cream earl grey milk teas. Both also wonderful. Today we ordered the raspberry chocolate milk tea and cocoa cream matcha. I may sound like a broken record, but yes, they were wonderful. It is NOT a boba tea shop; it was, but no longer. Incidentally, if you come the "back" way, entering off Warner vs Dobson, the signage on the back side still says Ni Hao. :-) Since we've already visited them three times, I think it's pretty clear we would highly recommend their teas.

Ordering is done through a self-service kiosk, but it's set up so the staff on the other side can immediately see your order and start preparing your drink, which makes the process smooth and efficient. The gentleman working there was very friendly and welcoming. The space itself is open and bright, though not very large, giving it a cozy yet airy feel. When our drinks came out, they truly looked like beautifully crafted works of art--we almost didn't want to drink them. Thankfully, we did, because the flavors were fantastic! Overall, everything from the service to the drinks impressed us, and we would definitely go back again.

There's a reason it's been around for years! Anyways, amazing coffee and always friendly and fast service. They also have a stamp card program which is nice. I usually get an iced hazelnut latte. I'm happy to report that service has been consistently fast and friendly and the coffee prices are so reasonable. The drinks are just as good as ever and I really appreciate that there is no extra charge for non dairy milk. The interior is still cozy and serene. Overall it's a fantastic place to get your caffeine fix.

You'll notice their reading lounge straight back offers a comfy couch to sit back & relax while you dive into a good book & sip on some good coffee. They also have some really yummy looking pastries in their case for those in need of a sweet treat. Some options includes cake pops, gourmet cupcakes & mini cheesecakes. Their menu has a huge selection of specialty drinks to choose from & It seems like matcha may be their specialty. I chose a medium iced banana pudding macchiato with oat milk. It was sooo good! It was the perfect balance of bold & sweet. It even came topped with a nilla wafer cookie. There was only one barista on hand and was very kind. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. was because of price. I will always support a family owned business, but my medium coffee was almost $12 which I felt was a little steep. The first time I visited was a couple years ago and was explained the process of how their coffee is less acidic. I didn't understand what thay meant until I had their coffee. They have great seasonal options - I recommend checking out their Instagram to see their seasonal stuff if thats your thing. Also their Instagram is just fun to watch. Hahaha! Otherwise, my go-to is lavender or raspberry mixed with coconut flavors. Their pastries and what not look great. Ive only had their egg and avocado toast which was good. The owner and staff are really great too. They make you feel welcomed. I seriously feel like this is my Cheers (tv show)- the barista even knows what I like to order (temp, milk sub, etc). I only go when I'm in the area which is normally about twice a month. They seem to be slammed before 10am so be prepared- they do move quickly though. My only complaint is that I wish they were open on the weekends. =)

The espresso tastes very good though, not burnt. I would love to try their food, but the downside of it being so fresh is that it takes a while for them to make it (their cheese filo dough specifically, as they do have many premade options to choose from). If I ever have an extended lunch, I want to try it! Or I could order ahead... that's probably the way to do it... I'll try that next time. Prices aren't terrible at all, and that's very valuable these days with some of the outrageous coffee shop prices out there.

I'm a big Cortado guy and they have one prominently on the menu. We've been here a few times and each time my wife's flavored latte is quite lovely, but would it be if it wasn't iced? The service is pleasant, the cafe itself is clean and cute, they have a restroom for patrons. But when it comes to pouring a Cortado, they don't know how to do it. It's just some steamed milk dumped on espresso in a paper cup. Any time a barista puts a cap on your cup (paper cups are generally a bad sign, but some are very good, but still not as good as glass cup poured versions) it's clear they intend to hide the lack of microfoam head, the art itself is how you build this drink. The pastries are great. I've wanted to like this place really because of the story, but if you're really into espresso there are so many better options than Cosita.
