Wonderful experience here. The women working were so nice and answered all of my questions. I love asking what's been popular or their own favorites. They said white chocolate with another flavor had been popular for iced lattes, so I chose a large (20 oz) iced latte with white chocolate and caramel, whole milk. I added an extra shot, as the 20 oz only had 2 shots, which was kinda strange to me. read more

I was early for my nail appointment so decided to get some coffee. Checked Yelp and this was the closest place snd new to me. It seems pretty popular. What a beautiful hidden gem in Tempe! I had just finished a doctor's appointment and was craving coffee, so the name Seattle Espresso caught my attention and I decided to stop in around 9:00 AM. The place was packed, and it was so heartwarming to see so many regulars greeting each other--it instantly gave the shop such a welcoming, community feel. I noticed they've been around since 1993, which is honestly so special to see. The woman at the front even joked that we're not as old as the coffee shop The menu is simple, with some really good specials. I ordered the Russian Twist latte, and wow... it was so good. I could honestly drink it every single day. The coffee was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable, the ambiance is cozy, and it's the kind of place where you can work, relax, or just sit and enjoy the vibe. The little fountain outside adds such a lovely touch too. This is definitely going to be my go-to spot whenever I have an appointment in the area. read more

What a delightful spot! I am kind of picky on my coffee, but when I worked in the same plaza, Seattle Espresso always knocked it out of the park. The espresso is deep, and rich, but never bitter in my experience. I am obsessed with the housemade caramel sauce that they use for their French caramel lattes, it adds the perfect sweetness to their drinks. The prices are so hard to beat, especially with how expensive coffee has gotten with these newer, "viral coffee shops". The service is so quick, everyone who works here is so sweet, and the ambience is super chill. There are always people reading, working, or bringing their cute pups to the patio area! I also used to get their bagels a lot, and love that they would toast them for me. Always a good visit when I'm back in the area. read more

This coffee is nothing fancy it won't win any awards and it won't blow u away! But u know what it will do keep ur money in ur wallet! Their coffees are extremely affordable and I appreciate that! There are lots of coffee shops that will charge 10$ for coffee but there aren't many that charge 4.55$ for a 16 ounce for coffee and guess what this is one of them! read more

This place has been on my Yelp list for a few months and finally got a chance to stop by. When I first walked in, I got a happy greeting. The two ladies working are fantastic! They were excellent in making their customers feel welcome. The barista got started on my drink order when within the first few seconds walking in. They offer your choice of milks. The cafe has about 4-6 small tables inside and a lot more outside. The cafe was clean and inviting. I ordered my usual caramel macchiato. Adjusted with half the sugar and whole milk. Wow! Delicious! Very balanced with coffee flavors and a hint of sweetness. The foam on top was a nice top off. While in line, the lady behind me order the White Russian. I just love checking out new to me locally owned coffee shops. I just happened to pass by, & thought I'd give it a try. Vibe inside is very simple, yet dated but with a charming touch. I love the old vintage style ambiance this place has going on. I came at the perfect time as is it was quite empty, but a line quickly formed right after I placed my order. The barista was very friendly and offered some recommendations. I opted for a large iced White Russian. The flavor itself was excellent and had a touch of a chocolaty taste but not overly sweet. The espresso shot in the coffee itself was perfect & not a hint of bitterness. Also love that they use crushed ice. A great spot with minimal seating & a few outdoor tables as well. I can't believe I've never stumbled upon Seattle Espresso before! Such a great little coffee shop, I've been back twice now and this will definitely be in my rotation of coffee stops now. The shop has a fairly basic menu: lattes, brewed coffee, cold brew, etc but an extensive selection of Torani syrups and a fair selection of sugar free ones at that. The thing I'm most impressed with at Seattle Espresso is that you don't have to have a lot of syrup in your drink because the espresso actually tastes delicious. I'm so used to most big chain coffee shops serving burnt coffee that you have to drown it out a little with some extra flavoring, but both of my French Vanilla Lattes I've had have had the perfect ratio of milk to coffee to syrup. They also have some pastries, loose coffee beans for sale, and their prices aren't bad and are worth every penny. A few seats inside and plenty outside (and in the shade no less) make this place super cozy and inviting to study or catch up with friends. Lastly the baristas are super friendly and so fast! I'm hooked on Seattle Espresso and will definitely be a regular in no time. read more

Love this coffee shop. Friendly atmosphere that is great for longer stays for studying or working. I have a simple coffee order of just an iced latte with oat milk, so I don't really have an opinion on their more fancy flavors. Their pastries are solid too. I cannot get enough of this place!!! I'm going at least every week now because it's that damn good. The iced lattes are insane. The yummiest flavor of espresso. I mix with coconut every time. Q: What is a bean's favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving? A: Roast. This plaza houses my gym so I've been seeing Seattle Espresso for years. Being that I usually hit the gym in the late afternoon, I just never had the opportunity to grab a cuppa. So when I had run errands on a sunny Monday, I popped in to grab an iced french caramel mocha with oat milk. Yum! The coffee bar takes up a good portion of the shop space. It's not the cutest place but it's cozy and you can definitely sit down to get some work done. As for the coffee, it was great! Seattle Espresso, you mocha me very happy. read more

I love this place. The staff is absolutely amazing, personal favorite barista being Chris. Always remembers me and my husband when we come in, which really says something considering how busy this place it! Service is wonderful and beverages are served quick. I had the best espresso con panna here too! Which I find oddly hard to achieve or find. The inside space is not huge by any means, but they have a great outdoor area that's wonderful to enjoy on a cool Arizona morning. Lastly, all the doggos! We will bring our pooches sometimes though they get a bit excited, but if you're looking for some cute dogs to pet while you sip on your morning brew, this is it! read more

Okay, so I don't normally leave reviews. This was my first time into Seattle Espresso, and I'm a little disappointed especially since I'd seen so many good reviews before coming in: I ordered a dirty chai and asked for extra cinnamon because they let me know their chai was on the sweeter side and I prefer it kinda spicy. I definitely wasn't expecting it to take up almost the entire bottom of the cup, so I grabbed my straw and walked out the door without a second thought. I took my first drink - expecting a creamy, delicious double shot dirty chai. Instead, I choked a little on the puff of cinnamon dust I inhaled. I've worked at a couple different coffee shops myself, so I know it's a little hard to get the powders mixed throughly, but come on! This is almost undrinkable because of how much cinnamon there is! The key word is almost - despite having to avoid sucking up cinnamon dust, this drink was delicious. The espresso was smooth and flavorful. I plan on coming back again, but next time I'll make sure I inspect my drink before just walking out the door. read more

Although the "Open" light isn't lit/on, Seattle Espresso IS still open! Rather straightforward menu with seasonal specialties on a separate menu. Lots of Torani syrups to chose from and customize your drink! The barista reported the Iced White Russian is the most popular drink so I had to give it a try. It's espresso with Ghirardelli white chocolate powder (very interesting) and choice of milk. She recommended a double shot for the large. It came out to $5.57. (Bring cash to tip!) It was neither too sweet nor too strong, so a good balance, although I could have done stronger. Overall it was a good coffee but not the best, and not my favorite. read more

Stopped here today before picking my dad up from the airport! I've been to so many coffee shops in the valley but surprisingly hadn't heard of this one until recently. This place is not it, I mean I love trying new coffee shops so I try to venture out, I drove all the way out here just to be disappointed. The way you order coffee here is weird you order first pay after didn't know that so got sent to the back of the line, coffee tasted terrible not great at all, the bagel we got was stale, not to mention they don't have a toaster like what? The best coffee shop in town. There is always friendly regulars that love to chat about anything. The baristas are all super friendly and very efficient. I love going on Fridays to see Molly and Chris. Both great humans! A great place to get some dog pets in too since there is always a couple cuties hanging out on the patio. Solid, crisp, refreshing cold brew no matter what time of year. I'm from Miami where Panther reigns supreme fresh out of LATAM and this is one of phoenix's gems right here. Service is fantastic also and always good to see Matt & Meredith's friendly faces. Lots of value and nice low key spot to work inside or chat outside with friends down in Chandler. This place is an old goodie! A solid staple for me has got to be the bella mocha. Dark chocolate espresso and coffee? What's not to love? They offer various espresso type drinks, pastries, and grab and go items like beans, syrups, and powders. Most recently on the seasonal I tried a dark chocolate and orange mix as well as a chocolate amaretto. These are combinations I don't think I'd find elsewhere and I will be checking in more often to see what else is on the rotation. read more

Ever since I moved to Phx i've been missing and thinking about seattle espresso all the time. There's many great coffee spots in PHX but nothing beats grabbing a double shot iced white russian from seattle. I love all the workers as they are so nice and work very fast . I just wish I can find out what goes into the iced white russian so i can make it at home myself since i'm so far :/ read more

Somebody clearly had a blast putting these drinks together. Looking around, the café is this unique blend of styles and tastes, and that blend just works...beautifully so. I grabbed an espresso and just enjoyed the energy of the place. There's a wall of records with a story behind it you'll have to go in and hear for yourself, and the vintage art scattered throughout ties the whole space together.
