I keep coming back to this coffee place for a while and it's not too far from where I live, It's open space with both seating indoor and outdoor areas as your choices. I like the flap latte with whipped cream, so I can taste a strong coffee with slightly sweetness. The price is reasonable, the service is excellent and very friendly. If you like the quiet corner to sit back and relaxed, or gathering small groups to discuss some work but don't like a loud noise around - this is the spot that you need to check it out! I will come back again soon. read more

This coffee shop is located on a church campus. Went there to study one weekday and it was pretty empty, so very quiet. Coffee was delicious, but definitely lots of conversation about religion and religious music playing. read more

Grove Coffee is a gorgeous spot. Located next to "The Grove" church, it's pretty easy to pass by if you don't look close enough. The staff were super friendly and the interior was comforting. Some religious books and decorations but definitely friendly for everyone, even those who don't go to church. I've never been to a religious Coffee Shop, so it was a cool experience. I would say the coffee was average, maybe 3 star quality, but the atmosphere and service made me give it an extra star. read more

I was so excited to check this place out and had been wanting to check it out for quite some time. We had got there at 1:45 today and they were closed. Not a soul in sight inside. Doors locked and everything. My friend and i agreed to meet up because of the instagram reel promoting this business for mom with kids that want coffee/playground near by. So we were beyond ecstatic to have the two close to each other where you could just walk over with our kids. The website said they are open until 2pm but didn't see any kind of signage out front about hours or closures. I literally just checked their instagram and not anything saying anything about being closed for the holidays. So very annoying that you have zero clue when they will be open or closed. read more

Excellent coffee and flavors with a great vibe inside and outside. Came by for some coffee and we ordered a (S) pumpkin spice latte and a (M) toffee nut honey iced latte - both drinks were really good and both only costed $10! They have a cozy interior with tables and sofas with plenty of outdoor seating and even a playground for kids. The service was quick and she recommended drinks we'd like based on what we like. read more

Cute place, located in a church complex. Not good coffee though. They didn't use their big fancy espresso machine or milk steamer. Got coffee from a pot and a hand frother. Typical $7.50 coffee after tip without the quality. Threw it away and went to another shop. read more

Great location for a coffee shop! I wish I lived a little closer, this place is great and is probably one of the most affordable I've been to! There is so much spacious parking so no worries about finding a spot. The outside of the shop is also beautiful tucked away in the groves. The inside is great with lots of seating and areas to hangout. The inside is very modern and fresh looking, the feeling is very positive when you are here. The coffee and matcha we got was great, I had a lavender honey and a matcha. Both tasted great, and were so refreshing. The honey and lavender was not overpowering but a perfect mixture. I have no reason to not give this spot 5 stars! I came in on a Friday morning, hoping to work remotely with a change of scenery. The shop was quite and perfect for working and taking calls. It's located on the front side of a church campus. The staff was friendly. Tons of seating in a beautiful space, including shaded patio seating. Coffee was well priced. I payed $5 for a medium caramel oat milk latte... which is unheard of now. I'll be back! read more

Coffee shops on church campuses are either amazing or really bad, there is rarely a middle ground haha. Luckily grove is awesome! They use piexoto coffee which is definitely an East valley fave. There was a tiny bit of confusion with the Yelp check in but the barista was able to text her manager and figure it out so I got my $2 off latte! I got an oat milk iced latte with cinnamon. So delicious! Was ready fast too. It's cute in here and I loved the lighting. Welcoming environment and I liked the seating options too. Would be a good place to come on a cooler day and sit outside. Stopped here this morning, it was our first time visiting. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and the coffee itself was very affordable. I wasn't able to use the check in offer, not sure why they weren't accepting it at this time. We had a pistachio mocha latte and wow it was delicious. The flavor was on point, a little bit of nutty taste mixed with some chocolate. Couldnt ask for a better cup of coffee. The grounds are beautiful, we enjoyed our walk through the tree grove and then sat down and relaxed on the couches they offer for seating. Would definitely come back for another trip! read more

I'm a college student at Justice University and I love coming here before, between, or after my classes. The baristas are super chill and I always stop to have a genuine conversation with them. I love the different seating choices inside so that I'm not stuck with the same low table that seats 4 people. I love the drinks and pastries that are sold here so much. I have never had a bad experience here and I go pretty much every day since it's literally on campus. This shop is a must try read more

Never even knew this was here. I drive up and down Gilbert all the time. I was dropping my pups off at daycare and looked up coffee shops nearby and this popped up. It's part of the Grove church campus and it's a beautiful building and nice open space inside with some comfy furniture and tables. Small counter and one staff, super quaint and quiet space if you want to meet a friend or get some work done. I ordered a London Fog latte style and an iced vanilla latte for the hubby and took it back home. Not many places do the latte style London Fog well, but she made it perfectly. read more

This coffee shop is such a gem! The baristas are delightful and efficient! It is so nice inside, with plenty of tables and couches near outlets and wifi for getting work done while enjoying some delicious coffee! There are really nice outdoor seating options as well! The staff was really friendly and they all seem to get along, which sets up the stage for the overall service I can expect. The line was very long so my expectations were quite high for the coffee I was about to enjoy. I ordered a cold brew with some milk and flavor, and a pastry. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. It did not taste like the flavor I ordered and it just wasn't very good cold brew in general. And they forgot to give me my pastry (but it was busy, I think, so not too big of a deal). As for ambience, the music was way too loud, but otherwise it's a great little spot, lots of options for seating with fireplace, books and magazines. If the music weren't so loud it would be a great place to study or relax. I was there with a friend and conversation was a little difficult. Overall, I probably will not go again but recommend anyone who is interested to give it a try! read more

came to this coffee shop from California. We've been coming here for years and they've always been over the top friendly great service but not today. I walked in. I said good morning and the girl behind the counter responded with can I help you with something? Really bad vibe I asked for my normal drink, which was a soy latte. She responded with. I discovered a quaint, non-chain, coffee cafe that I like! I am always in search of mom and pop places to try new beverage and food items. The prices were reasonable for their specialty coffee beverages and they offered fresh baked items that are locally made. My barista was very friendly and helpful! I appreciate the "coffee to go" front parking stalls that made my walk shorter. (I'm lazy eh?) Clincher- I LOVE the fact that the new seasonal flavors have made an early debut. Pumpkin and Lavender Honey! It was a nice touch to receive re-printed coffee cozies to identify which flavored latte is which! Great brewed coffee. Pour over for each cup, made with special care and attention. I tried the medium roast a coffee from Guatemala, with great notes of dark fruits and florals, then I added 2 packets of raw sugar tasting as the sugar was added. The flavors just grew by the sip. I don't mix any creamers to accentuate the flavors and this medium had a variety of flavors, from spices to citrus, along with some tar flavors of dark berries and a very floral smell. The coffee shop has great ambiance and large space. Definitely a good place to work with fast WiFi and plenty of single tables. The staff is friendly and helpful. Love love this place. I have had all kinds of drinks there. This is a Mocha Latte and it was delish! The staff is so sweet and love getting to know about you. I have seen the staff run out and see someone they know and give them a wonderful welcoming hug (specifically an elderly woman) I love getting to church early on Saturday and being able to sit in the coffee shop and read or meet a friend. They offer complimentary wifi, a shelf of mission-branded merchandise and a menu of herbal teas and unique coffee drinks. Also a small assortment of pastry items. In addition to the regular entrance, they have a huge garage door access so on nicer days they can open up the seating area for fresh air and more of an outside but inside vibe. Staff were friendly barista hippie types but took a while for them to acknowledge us standing there even though there was no line. Ordered one hot tea and a seasonal coffee drink. Neither were great and their pricing is misleading. For example the seasonal drink was supposed to be $5.89 but was charged $7.65 and the tea was nothing more than a basic tealeaves in hot water. We didn't add any items to justify the upcharge but when I brought it to the cashiers attention she was unsure how to adjust the price or offer a refund unless we wanted loose change. SMH. If a Customer pays by Apple pay, they should be refunded or credited in the same way. Seems like a space intended for Co-working or digital nomad types as there were about 4 people with laptops and headphones sipping on drinks. Because of the ultra cool vibe, I'll definitely give them another chance to change my mind if I'm nearby but I think for what we ordered it wasn't a great price to value.

I also tried their egg Vietnamese coffee and the egg foam was so good. It complemented and balanced out the strength of the Vietnamese coffee.

Maitland was our server the first time and we were in such a hurry to make it to other plans and she did an amazing job ensuring we had the best experience in the shortest amount of time. I've also sat at the bar to enjoy the all day happy hour, which is such a great deal! Steven was attentive and thorough and helped facilitate when other guests were getting a little excited at the bar area. I have since tried a number of other menu items and I think the fajitas and corn cake are still my favorite! Sidenote: you can add an extra side of corn cake for $3 - highly recommend! This place basically turns into a nightclub after 7 PM on Friday and Saturday night. There are men dressed up in robot suits wandering all over the establishment dancing with the guests. There are guests dancing in the open space between booths and tables and the energy is out of this world! There were even women doing the limbo through the robots' legs lol! I died! My only suggestion for improvement would be to not serve the rice, beans, and corn cake on the sizzling plate of the fajitas because the plate is so hot that the beans, rice, and corn cake burn which is not an enjoyable flavor or texture for me. I have since started asking for that to be served on the side and I enjoy it much better!

Love to go to this coffee shop that is almost hidden, it is part of a Church but open Sunday -Saturday. A nice quiet place to work for a few hours, sit and read, meet with friends, talk to other guest. The baristas are friendly and helpful in selections when you want to try something new. This is a really cute coffee spot with comfy seating and friendly staff. I immediately fell in love with the decor - a bright blue fabric couch, orange/brown chairs, colourful area rug and a bookshelf behind the seating area. It's a small space but there's a lot to explore outside if you enjoy a little light walking afterwards. This is a good spot for a 1:1 date or a solo adventure with a book. read more

Grove Coffee is a special little coffee house tucked away in a pistachio grove right on Gilbert Road. Amber, the coffee house manager makes the best cappuccino I've ever had. There's a reason so many of the chains, and some smaller businesses, have gone to "Welcome in" and "what are you up to today." I appreciate what they're trying to do - they want to offer a friendly experience; but it actually bugs me, because it comes across as disingenuous. However, all you have to do is say "Hi - what can I get you" or something like that and make it sound like you mean it. I guess what I'm saying is, act like you like your job. The lady who served the coffee was great at the end. Maybe its just me. I'm a boomer and just can't figure out why so many of these coffee places have act like there's nothing to be happy about. Might have been an off day, so may try again - again, great product.
