Great coffee shop in Gilbert! The coffee is always on point, and the staff is consistently super friendly. Parking is hit or miss. You might score a spot out front, but more often you'll need to park nearby and walk over. The space has a very industrial vibe with high ceilings, which looks cool, but I do wish there were more comfortable and welcoming seating to really match the atmosphere. There are only a few tables, so it's best if you arrive at a good time. Overall, I'd recommend as a place to grab great coffee!
Low key/ casual spot to hang out and or get some work done. Tried the Pumpkin Pie Latte (hot and half sweet) and it was good! Would order again. Although it wasn't too busy when I walked in, there aren't a lot of tables to sit down at (just an FYI in case you walk in on a busy day). Couple tables outside for when the weather is nice as well. Overall, I recommend this place. Check them out!

Went here on a Sunday afternoon. It was fairly busy but staff was great. Polite and fast so the line moved quickly. I was torn between the banana pudding latte and the caramel rosemary latte. I went with the caramel rosemary latte and I'm glad I did! It was so good! I tried a sip of my friend's banana pudding latte and I liked the one I got better. Not a big space with a lot of seating. Parking in front and back. Clean space. I'd come back.
Mythical Coffee was a hidden gem I just happened to find on a map, as my friend and I were looking for somewhere with coffee and food. Located in Gilbert Town Square shopping plaza, which also has a ton of other interesting looking shops, there was some street parking available at 830am on a Thursday when I arrived. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. Lots of beautiful art inside this modern looking coffee shop. They had grab&go drinks and pastries, as well as regular coffee beverages and some fun seasonal specials too! There was lots of coffee/accessories for sale too. The person who took our order was really helpful in explaining the drinks to us, and brought the food to us too! I decided to try the Purple Passion ube latte drink and it was really good, better than I'd thought it would be! I would definitely order this seasonal drink again. My friend ordered the Breakfast Sammy and said it was pretty good. She really enjoyed her chai latte, saying that it actually tasted like chai! Love this place and can't wait to come back!
I put a post on Reddit r/Gilbert to ask the community what they thought the best coffee in Gilbert was. Mythical Coffee came up multiple times in the thread and therefore I felt compelled to try it out! My daughter goes to school in the area, so on the way home yesterday from morning drop off I swung by Mythical right as they opened at 7:00 am. The shop was clean, nice open space, well organized and two very friendly baristas greeted me as I walked in. I told him I hadn't been here before but was interested in a latte. I asked for his suggestions/his favorite and he said the "purple passion latte" with whole milk. Not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious. Probably one of the best lattes I've had in the area. Because it was right at 7:00 am, I didn't wait long at all for my drink and it was ~$7 after tax/tip. I would HIGHLY suggest if you're in the area!

When I walked in on a Friday afternoon it was packed. All the seats were taken and I just waited patiently. I went with a matcha latte and my friend a regular cappuccino. The people are so sweet and the service friendly and quick. The matcha latte was real good, it felt authentic and had really good flavor. The pricing is decent and this place has such a great vibe, can spend all day over here. Definitely, coming back!
Cozy, modern cafe in Gilbert just south of downtown. There's always a good vibe here and coffee is great. I like the service and would recommend to anyone who likes coffee shops. There's a couch to chill on with your laptop. There's people so it feels alive but not over crowded that you want to leave.
This place was great. The interaction we had with the cashier was amazing as he was very nice and approachable. The line was long but he was very patient and kind. I ordered a London fog tea with half and half and it was the best. It was creamy, milky, and it was the right amount of sweetness. My friend had the seasonal drink and he also enjoyed it. We sat on the cute blue couch while we sipped our drinks and it was fun to people watch as it was very busy. The bathroom was clean. Overall, will be back!
I have been coming back to this coffee shop for the past two years. This place has its own unique charming atmosphere with open space that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff and service are absolutely wonderful, friendly, fast delivery. I order summer drinks; watermelon matcha which very smooth and refreshing -- loved it! It's quiet busy spot but still feel relaxing and quiet enough for you to do your work and brainstorming with friends. I will come back again soon!

They didn't have as many coffee options to choose from, and the lucky charm coffee almost tasted like a tea in a kinda weird way. But I asked for the honey pistachio matcha as a latte and they accommodated that which was awesome. That drink was pretty tasty because of the cream cheese soft top and real pistachios. I think it's a nice place, open and clean, they have games to play, and the service was great. Coffee wasn't bad, just not my favorite this time around. read more

Finally, I made it here and was very happy I did! Between recommendations and the great reviews, I had high hopes. It did not disappoint. Their menu is pretty straightforward but has great options. They have a seasonal and 'night shift' menu as well that offers specialty drinks and flavors. I tried the Iced Nutella Tiramisu Latte and loved it! Really great flavors that complimented each other well. Would definitely recommend it! Food wise, not a ton of options. They have some pastries and a couple of sandwich options. They have some seating inside, but its not a very large space overall. The staff was great and our wait time for 2 drinks wasn't very long at all. Will absolutely be back to try more of the drinks, hopefully soon! read more
Ahhhh i wanted to love this place! I really did. The ambiance is awesome!! Everything in the shop is so cute! I love how creative all the drink names were. The staff was all super awesome. Very friendly and personable. But the coffee wasn't good. My gf and i first ordered the drinks pictured. Both were not good. I will say i probably ordered a drink for very specific pallets. I can't remember the name but it was tonic water, espresso and lemon. Bad. Just bad. We ended up ordering a 3rd drink which was a chai. Again, we wanted to at least like it.. but no.. we ended up driving to Swig and getting a soda. read more

Stopped in for a quick coffee. Place is well kept and was fairly full. Quick order at the counter - Americano with a bit of milk. The service is fast and friendly. Mythical Coffee is near the nail salon close to where Pei Wei is.. they are limited sitting and had interesting flavors to an extent.. they did have their summer flavors out.. not my favorite type of coffee but it's nice just to come and get something to drink if you are in the area.. The staff were friendly and inside the coffee shop was clean. read more
Mythical is a fan favorite! Classic drink options for every coffee/tea drinker including my coffee-snob husband from Australia (love him dearly but he has high standards)! The few breakfast items are simple but incredibly tasty! The crew always takes the time to make a connection, even during the rush of a Saturday morning. It isn't the biggest coffee shop, but the space is set up with seating for groups of varying sizes and with enough open space that you can have an intimate conversation without someone overhearing. read more

The employees are super kind, clean atmosphere, balanced relaxed music, perfect for a working on your lap top! Location and Setting are perfect. They are called Mythical coffee - the coffee your menu is your basic here our the 5 options (mocha, latte, americano...) was hoping for something more, something flavorful. I have been going to Mythical for years, and have to say that their matcha is hard to beat. As a Matcha lover, I don't like my Matcha too sweet or too bitter. And they do it just right. Not to mention, their espresso-based drinks are pretty good and have a very nice seating area to chat with a friend or get some work done. read more

I think I've found my new favorite coffee shop! I feel like I say that every time I find myself at a new to me local cafe. I popped in on a Friday morning, and this place was PACKED. A good sized shop with table, bar, lounge & outdoor seating. I opted for one of their specialty drinks, Purple Passion. An espresso with vanilla passion fruit topped w/ Ube cold foam. I've never had Ube, so I didn't have anything to compare it to, but I was not a big fan. I feel the drink had little flavor and was nothing to rave about. I came back a second time with a friend, and this time got the Caramel Cinn-Phony. It was so good I almost wanted to order another. My friend had the Purple Passion, and they didn't like it either. Both times I've been, staff has always been so friendly. They also offer small bites so you can have something to munch while enjoying your drink. This is literally my go-to coffee shop now. After I drop my son off at school it's a lovely "Gilberty" drive here. Their coffee is indeed magical "mythical". And ANY of their seasonal lattes are always a hit! Literally, anything with blueberry is my fave. Sometimes the lines can get pretty long and the wait could be a tad irritating, however, all the baristas are super friendly and personable. Seating inside and outside is pretty basic, nothing fancy. You really come here for the taste of their coffees for sure. read more

One of my absolute favorite coffee places in Arizona is Mythical Coffee! I love the aesthetics, vibes and ambiance of this place. The prices here aren't outrageous either. I've been to some coffee places where my 12oz coffee was around $8. My speciality drink was less than $7 even with an oat milk substitution. Drinks will range from $4 - $6. It can definitely get pretty packed here as it's not the biggest place, but it's quiet enough to work for a few hours. I love their matcha lattes and the London Fog. I always try to get one of their speciality drinks of the month and they never disappoint! My latest obsession on their Spring 2024 menu is the Strawberry Jasmine - tastes like a Jasmine Milk Tea with espresso and strawberry and it's so light and delicious. They also have delicious pastries and the kitchen is open from 7am - 2pm with some light sandwiches. Definitely my go to coffee place when I feel like getting out of my house and working for a bit. read more
Fun cute cafe with super cool seasonal drinks; pictured is the peach burboun latte and purple passion (ube) but they also had a watermelon matcha, and banana colada among other things. A few wooden tables with chairs, probably around 20 seats with outlets here and there spaced pretty decently. Space is pretty busy but I would highly recommend as a study cafe or to catch up with friends, great escape from the heat. The fun funky drinks really brings out the personality for this cafe : D would be a regular here if I could read more

I've been wanting to try out this coffee shop since my first time in the area, and finally got a chance when I brought my husband in the other day. It's a cute modern spot and quite busy - I think every table was occupied when we walked in. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I didn't know what I wanted - I usually do an iced mocha when I get a cold coffee, but even though they didn't have it on the menu, they were able to make one for me. This definitely made my day and showed me that they're willing to go out of their way for their customers! I will say it was a bit pricey - about $11 for two coffees. But I also think that's becoming the norm now. I will definitely be back :) read more

Everything about this place is very delightful! Our drinks came out quick, service was amazing, and the whole vibe of the place was so cute and welcoming!
