I'm a fan of Press Coffee. I've been to their other locations, especially the one in Gilbert a few times and have always left satisfied. Their product and service are consistent throughout. This location is no exception. I was greeted by the friendly barista right away. She made genuine pleasant conversation while I waited for my drink. I recently stopped by this coffee shop at my Pilates class and I was pleasantly surprised. The shop is located in a convenient area and is super cute inside. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I got an iced matcha latte was one of the best matcha's I've ever got at a coffee shop before! I woke up late on a Sunday and this was one of the only places close by that served breakfast sandwiches at noon The sandwiches although on the thinner side were still very tasty. I had the bagel with cheese egg and bacon. An outdated menu shows sausage but didn't see that option today. I also got a latte and a peanut butter shaker. I like how the calories and protein content are shown on the menu. They have a variety of pastries available, I'll have to come back for them next time. The people behind the counter were very nice and got my order out quickly. While I waited there was plenty of space to sit and the music wasn't too loud either. Was recommended to come here while staying with family in Chandler. It was a good recommendation. They have a great line of coffee, including canned. Nice open modern space that felt very welcoming to sit down and work or read. The staff was really friendly. Coffee was made with care and came out in a reasonable time. Love press! I always do a latte and get it a little bit sweeter by adding vanilla. I do enjoy the new location as it is convenient for us to stop at after our orthodontist appointments! It's in the same plaza as Young Orthodontics, Stone & Vine, Tacos and more and many other cool shops and eateries! Their core tumblrs are my fave I have a few of them. I came here to get some homework done and enjoy some matcha yesterday. The shop is on the smaller side but there's plenty of seating. The employees were super nice and made my drink pretty quick! The chair I was sitting on wasn't the comfiest but it worked. There's outlets on some tables if you need it. I think the first time I had their delicious brew was at a Yelp Elite Event where beer and coffee were served side-by-side. When I heard they had open up this location, I really wanted to pop in. We came for breakfast this morning and of course coffee and tea. We had the Bacon and Eggs avocado toast but mine is without bacon. The toppings were really good and generous. The tea was apparently very very good and the iced latte was AMAZING. I am a coffee lover and appreciate the lush taste of coffee under that milk. After trying many coffee shops in the PHX area I've come to the conclusion that Press is always a good option. I am by no means a coffee expert, in fact I don't drink coffee regularly and when I do it's usually a latte. What I like about Press is that it's no fuss and not overly sweet as other choices around the Valley. My go to order is iced latte with almond milk but my other favorite is their breakfast burrito. Again I'm not even a huge burrito eater myself but Press does them so good. They do them panini style so they stay hot for a while. Add a little cholula and you're golden. I receive this lovely product monthly sent directly to my home. I was introduced to the beans when a Press location in Chandler opened. It was eye opening. I thought I had my preferred brand of beans yet have loved the Press varieties since that particular day in Chandler. I visited Press Coffee on Christmas Eve before going to visit relatives. Here's the break down: +1 Ambiance: Cute interior that is modern and nicely decorated. An obvious on-point brand theme with merchandise. +1 Staff: Employees were very friendly and patient while we stared cross-eyed at the menu--having never been here before. They were willing to add additional fixings to my latte. +1 Food: The Southwest breakfast burrito was flavorful (spicier than expected) and breakfast sandwich was yummy and the perfect size. My sister and I both used the burrito's pairing salsa on the sandwich and burrito. -1 Coffee: Now I tend to be a coffee snob having lived in Seattle, Chicago and now LA area. The latte was sadly not impressive. My oat milk latte had basically no foam and tasted watered down (even though I saw them use Califa branded oat milk--which is quite a rip off at $1 up charge). The espresso was overly strong (which I'm normally not opposed to) but it came off burnt tasting. I even had to ask for one...then two...then three pumps of simple syrup to try and balance the flavors. It was just not enjoyable. +1 Overall: Based on this alone, I don't think I'd visit another Press location because for me it's all about the coffee when I go to a coffee shop. read more

I am already a huge fan of Press. I love the simplicity behind their stores and menu. The flavors are there. I enjoy their lattes quite often. Stopped at this place on the way to the airport and it ended up being one of the better coffees I have ever had, wow! I've left 5 star reviews here. I frequently stopped at this location for years before they moved down the street. They had better bakery items, better service and FRESH coffee. In the past several weeks, I've stopped there a half dozen times after work. I receive two fresh coffees, two coffee that were kinda gross, but I had the ability to mask the poor taste with cream and sugar. Two times, including my visit this week, they served me a coffee that was horrible. I added cream and sugar, it was still so repulsive, I dumped the entire cup of coffee. Now, I understand I can get a pour over and have it made fresh. But, a decent coffee shop should have reasonably fresh coffee in the drip. And charging $3.52 for a 12 oz coffee that tastes like it's 3 days old and heated up in the microwave is far less that satisfactory. It kills me, because I loved this place. If you can't serve good product at 3pm. Close early. Don't serve garbage. I emailed corporate, they sent me a generic, copy and paste response. read more

This place has been on my list of coffee shops to check out in the East Valley Area. I was initially impressed by the high praise, and almost universal 5 star rating here on yelp, a lox bagel on yelp menu photos, and cute decor. Finding Press is very straightforward, and theres plenty of parking both right in front of Press and off to the side. Unfortunately I quickly found out that the lox bagel is not available at this location, and opted for an 8 oz chai and a chocolate biscotti. For both, the total was a very steep $7.54 with the biscotti alone being $2.50. The chai was good, but not very spiced overall. Most a sweetened milk. The chocolate biscotti had a great bite but, like the chai, ultimately not worth the price which is kind of disappointing. I really wanted to love this place more than I did, and sadly I won't be back since neither of the items I bought really made the trip here worth it.
