I had their regular cold brew with a splash of cream and a Sunrise Sandwich- both were so good! The cold brew had a lovely aftertaste that in my opinion, reminded me of dark chocolate and whiskey. Service was also fantastic- the lovely barista was thorough in her explanations of each cold coffee option to help me find what I was looking for! My sandwich was also lovely- the Sunrise Sandwich on an Everything Bagel is easily my favorite breakfast sandwich in Tempe. The Basil Pesto adds a bit of freshness to an otherwise very rich sandwich. Also stopped in a few more times on my evening walks for a Lavender Haze (seasonal earl grey sage honey drink: EXCELLENT!) and their seasonal energy drink- it was a Sunset Spritz (energy with grapefruit pink cordial): both delicious. Happy to say service has improved greatly. Employees are on task and happy to answer my questions. The drinks on the seasonal menu are very good, and their classics are also great. If you're going to go soon, I'm a big fan of the Sage honey and a big fan of the cordial syrup on the 2026 Spring Menu. Will definitely be hitting Infusion up for some future study sessions. Glad to see Infusion takes customer feedback seriously.

So great to have Proyecto Coffee Bar officially serving The Bouldering Project!…read more The owners behind Proyecto have been operating here as part of Pair Cupworks for a while, but they're now taking the spot in a direction of their own (with beans still roasted by Pair!). The first special we tried -- the iced Cafe de Olla -- was fantastic. It's nicely spiced with cinnamon, clove, and allspice and sweetened with piloncillo syrup without overpowering the strong espresso flavor. It's such a convenient location with plenty of seating -- check out the hammocks outside if you want to chill -- and WiFi if you want to get some work done. Or, work on some climbs by doing a drop-in at the bouldering gym. :)

The Papua New Guinea was smooth and hit the spot. My only disappointment was that the creamer was the type that comes in the little sealed cups (Land o' Lakes?). I would have preferred carafes of milk and cream, but perhaps it would be a challenge keeping them cool enough in warmer weather.

I'm usually not in the area during business hours but today a friend and I visited in the morning. They have parking behind the building but the street was closed so we parked in a nearby lot. Skoden is inside Central Records so it's got a cool vibe to it. A few people were already there and a couple ordering ahead of us. I heard about their fundraiser and ordered their Diné tea affogato, made with Navajo tea ice cream and double shot espresso. I've always wanted to try affogato and today was the day. I also ordered their mini blue corn donuts with berry glaze (6 for $4) because they're very good. And I got one of their cute stickers ($3). Service was friendly and welcoming. The affogato was pay as you can donation which is a nice touch. The espresso was strong but mixed with the ice cream was a good balance. I love that they use real cups and plates here, very eco friendly. There's also a water dispenser with reusable cups at the counter. The bathroom was cute with a cabinet plastered with cool stickers. This indigenous and queer women-owned business prioritizes community, well-being and anti-colonialism. They have done fundraisers for Palestine and for mutual aid and care about each other. I tried their pistachio cold foam latte with half sweet, and it was so good, the cold foam was light and airy, the syrup didn't overpower the taste of coffee. I usually don't drink sweet coffee, just like original hot latte, but I love pistachio so had to tried this, and it was really good. My husband got the hot latte and it was even better. For the Moroccan we asked for it to be half sweet and it was still pretty sweet so be aware that this one is for the sweet tooth. The pistachio latte was delicious as well. The lemon poppy seed matcha was really good as a matcha, meaning the matcha was delcious and easy to ddrink. Not a lot of lemon flavor in it tho but the quality was good so no complaints. Their pastry selection is lacking however, this might be because we came a little later in the day but there was not a lot of options.
