This Peruvian coffee shop is super cute! We had the best service and got to enjoy delicious coffee and pastries. It's right next to my work, so I'll definitely be stopping in again!

Just found this place, almost by accident, in the courtyard just off of Mill Avenue. We had the hot caramel and hot hazelnut lattes and enjoyed them thoroughly. Add the chocolate chip muffin and it was perfect. The coffee is so smooth it really enhances the overall experience. We'll be back - thank you!

Nice local coffee shop! It's tucked into the courtyard and has some seating inside and outside. I ordered a mocha latte and it was lovely. Their pastries and empanadas looked good too. It was a bit of a wait which the owner warned us and it was understandable as it was only him working.

Great new local coffee spot in Tempe. The owner Giovanna gets her beans directly from her family's farm in Villa Rica, Peru. Espresso was top notch and my girlfriend loved the iced vanilla latte. It's on the ground level of the courtyard shops, which you enter off Mill. Definitely worth checking out and supporting local!

View from covered patio - lovely!

Gio's took over a spot that had been a vegan restaurant for some time and love what they have done with the location. The interior is simple and extremely clean but what really shines is the covered patio that looks out on the beautiful courtyard with colorful plants, benches, and even a waterfall (so great ambiance). I love to come here in the morning, get a coffee drink and just Zen out for a bit before I start my work day. As someone who works from home, I love that I can easily ride my bicycle to this location, off of 5th St and Mill and it is a bit like a little park area -walled off from the activity on main St. Mill and the owners, who also work there, are super nice! I'm happy to say I'm seeing more and more foot traffic, so it is one of those places that people in the area are discovering, and I also see visitors taking pictures of the courtyard, as it is lovely. Besides the great ambiance, and top-notch coffee, that they roast themselves (I generally drink an American or Iced coffee, both black, so I know the quality of the beans is great), a unique food offering is Empanadas (currently beef and one with ham and cheese) and that is made by friend of the owners so very authentic. I don't eat in the morning but one day I will try one! Suffice to say, if you want something that is both authentic and local, and good value for your money, and a spot you can sit for a bit and collect yourself in a lovely environment, this is a great place to go, and they are open into the early evening. I'm sure, when it is getting dark the patio lights are lovely. :-)

Bought a 16 oz vanilla latte. Peruvian roasted beans. No acidic taste. Very smooth. Best cup I've had in awhile.

Excellent coffee, and this is comin from two coffee snobs! We love our french press and our drip-this is a step up from that. Coffee flavored coffee with flavors you can add and temps to suit (hot/cold). Pastries are delicious, moist, and have the right amount of sweet(plenty of filling).

In addition to coffee and tea, they serve pastries from Chacónne Patisserie and Noble Bread, which are both local legends. I stopped by Regroup Coffee on a random Saturday morning. The parking lot is small, but there were plenty of spots when I got there. I was greeted as soon as I entered. It was a pretty slow morning for the cafe, so it was quiet inside. I ordered a maple date latte with almond milk and a peanut butter banana toast. Both were delicious! I would absolutely return to try more from their menu!

Some of my favorite coffee in the valley, they use high quality coffee beans that really shines through in every drink- I love how their drinks are usually just subtly sweet and don't overpower the drink. I also love that they make some of their syrups in house, which really elevates the drinks they make. highly recommend the almond croissant if you're able to get one before they sell out, it's truly divine. Ive also tried their chai before, which was well spiced and balanced, the strawberry matcha is a great drink as well. I've also tried their protein slayer shake which was good (except i'm not the biggest fan of vegan protein powder). Looking forward to my next visit!

Date of visit: June 6, 2026…read more This was a stop on our local food tour, and we enjoyed the coffee that we got so much that we came back later that day for a bag of coffee to bring home for a friend that enjoys trying java from different regions and roasters. The space is very small, so don't plan on coming here to crank out some work for a few hours, this is very much a stop for a minute, not stop for a while kind of place. While on the food tour we got a little bit of background on the founders of the establishment and their local success along with a wonderful Brown Sugar Cold Brew. I am a bit of a weakling when it comes to coffee so I needed an extra splash of cream but then I was good to go! Staff on both visits were very friendly and welcoming, too. Would definitely recommend popping into Yellow Spruce if you're in the area.

I have since gone in at least 3 more times and each visit has been pleasant. They offer some breakfast items as well as a variety of coffees, lattes and the like. The space inside is pretty small, but they do have some counter seating. There's limited seating outside as well. Prices are average and the parking situation isn't bad unless you go on a crazy busy day. Check out Yellow Spruce Roasters if you're in the area!
