This place is such a hidden gem! I had some time to kill before an appointment and noticed the sign outside with Fall Martinis listed!! Yellow Spruce does coffee, gelato, wine and cocktails! The inside is small but they have a bar area for seating and a few tables and chairs. I think there are two parts to this shop and I only went to the side with the bar area which was super cute with really beautiful wood and coffee beans inside. Skyler was very helpful and made me my Sweater Weather martini. It was delicious and strong. Just what I needed. I can't wait to come back to try the coffee and/or gelato. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

Solid espresso at a decent price. Friendly barista. Seating available inside as well as on the sidewalk outside.

This review is for the Yellow Spruce cafe located inside of the Scottsdale Public Library. It's not the same physical location as the one in old town, however it's the same coffee, tea, and matcha they serve. It's great to be able to grab an iced coffee and then go sit in a nice chair in front of a large window looking at the park. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk and one pump of caramel + vanilla syrup. A simple coffee order that tastes great. My partner got the iced matcha. He wasn't expecting it to be sweetened but we didn't ask, I tasted it and I like it a bit sweet. Straight up matcha can be a bit too bitter for me. All in all, great cafe inside the library.

A coffee shop that also is a wine/ drinks bar that stays open into the late evenings. Full bar with wine/ beer with hot/cold non alcoholic drink options too). Super nice service. Had both a latte and an espresso martini which were decent.

I had been wanting to try Yellow Spruce for a while and happened to be in the area. It's located in old town and parking can get crazy but it's easy to find. Customer service was welcoming and indoors is on the smaller side but there's a few spots inside and seating outside. They have teas, coffee, energy drinks, gelato and a few food items. I went with a caramel latte and it was perfect. No bitterness, not to sweet and good balance of flavor. The gelato looked great but wasn't hungry so I'll definitely plan to grab some next stop in!

Delicious! I came in for the first time. Place is small with a bit of a patio. I ordered the cold brew with pumpkin cold foam. I'm normally not a pumpkin person, but this lady totally convinced me.

Very yummy salted caramel espresso martini. Super friendly staff!! The environment was also cute and in a great location in Old Town. Would recommend this drink.

Such a cute coffee shop with good coffee! My mom is a huge coffee person, so I took her here, and she was so satisfied. She's like "finally I am drinking a real cup of coffee"! I don't really know about coffee but I could taste the difference compared to coffee from big franchise, it was nutty, flavorful, strong, and creamy! This place is going to be my go-to coffee spot in this area!

Such a cute spot in Old Town! The inside gave small town coffee shop vibes for me. Coffee was smooth and the milk was not overly steamed. They have some pastries available as well as a limited breakfast menu. I appreciated that they also served gelato and had a wine bar next door.

I was on a tour of Scottsdale and one of our stops was Yellow Spruce Roasters. I either had the choice of a free small coffee or a free small gelato. I chose the free gelato and they had this delicious salted caramel flavor. It was really sweet, and salty, and had gooey chunks of caramel inside. I don't know how they could have the caramel inside the gelato without it being too hard but they found a way to make the texture and flavor of the caramel work. I also got a chance to talk to the manager of the cafe who was nice. I could tell that they put a lot of time, effort, and passion into the development and success of their cafe. I would definitely come here again and I would also go on that tour again because it was really fun.

Great service, coffee, espresso martinis and gelato! I love that they're open early in the morning too :)

This really helped me make a decision instead of choosing one over the other without taste testing it first. The coldbrew was smooth and very strong. I really enjoyed it! I was wired for hours! Loved this little gem of a coffee shop!

Got it with oat milk and it was creamy, smooth, not too sweet, with a subtle nutty buttery flavor. Barista handed it to me which was sweet. I saw another barista like delivering to people sitting so that's always nice. Also grabbed the Miso Pecan Spelt Cookie Crispy, chewy, not too sweet. I went right before 10am and some desserts were sold out already! I'd come back for sure. Sit down and try something else.

First time I got coffee and their chicken salad sliders. The coffee was a latte with almond milk. While the sliders were so delicious, the coffee was not my favorite. I am not sure what the issue was but the almond milk did not work well with it. It was also mostly foam, almost like a cappuccino. The sliders on the other hand were great. They had cherries and apples in them and the bread was soft and fresh. The chicken was a tad bit chewy but that honestly did not matter so much because the flavors otherwise were very good. I returned a few days later and got their turkey sandwich. Also, delicious with slices of green apples. I had to remove the cheese slices from it because I didn't pay attention when I bought it that it had cheese. I don't think that impacted the taste though. I loved that it was also made with herb focaccia bread. We will be returning for more sandwiches for sure because they have a great selection daily.

I recently signed up for their rewards program and got $5 off which was cool. I ordered online and was gonna choose the Scottsdale Quarter location, but the parking isn't too convenient there. So I chose this spot and headed over for an asap pickup (10 min). I found parking in one of their visitor spots along the entrance which was close by. The interior is beautiful; I initially noticed the darker lighting and the artistic designs, plus it's spacious with lots of seating. My drink order (small hot mocha) was ready at the counter and I was on my way. I haven't tried many drinks from here - usually I get their iced tea - so I wasn't a big fan of the mocha, not sweet enough. But I added some chocolate syrup and honey at home and it was tasty. I'd like to stop by this location again and try some of their other drinks.
