I've been wanting to try this place for a long time after hearing so many great things from coworkers. My previous employer even rented one of their coffee machines for the office, and the coffee was a huge upgrade from the Keurig we had before. My coworker at my current job also raves about this place and insisted it's one of the best spots in town for coffee. I finally had the chance to stop by today while I was in the area. I ordered the iced chai latte, the iced Ethiopian Honey Toddy, and the breakfast burrito, which came with a small side of fresh fruit (watermelon and cantaloupe). The breakfast burrito was good, though nothing particularly memorable. The real standout was the coffee--both drinks were delicious and definitely lived up to the hype. The flavors were smooth, well-balanced, and easy to enjoy. Overall, if you're looking for excellent coffee, this place is absolutely worth the visit. I have driven by here so many times but finally stopped in because I "needed" a coffee. It was a random hour like 2 pm ish and not sure I understood some of the menu items but I did order a non fat iced mocha and the coffee cake muffin and have to say both were delish. First of all: the reason for 5 stars is because of the amazing team of baristas that were there when I went Saturday 8/9 and 7:30 am They had just received a mobile order for 30 drinks! 15 iced vanilla lattes and 15 iced matchas. They didn't skip a beat and provided excellent customer service to the other customers even though no doubt they were stressed. They kept a positive attitude and provided enthusiastic service Now for the food and beverage: I just had a drip coffee with cream it was the Reserve roast and I must say it was full of cocoa flavor and very smooth. It seemed to have a medium body and was very balanced. My pastry I chose was a raspberry bar and it was buttery, flaky, and perfect amount of both sweet and tart. The cafe and bathrooms were clean The atmosphere would have been fine but it was so busy . It was hard to concentrate on my studies I brought with me. Press is my favorite coffee shop in the Valley. I simply love it and they consistently deliver good coffee no matter the location. I love this location because there's so many local shops around. My puppy was getting a dental cleaning and I stopped by to get him a puppy cup and treated myself to a latte. I like that in addition to sugar free vanilla syrup they also have sugar free hazelnut. I stopped by here a couple of Friday mornings ago with my wife and twins for our morning coffee. Whenever we go on vacation, we like to hit up local coffee shops and on this day we went to the McCormick location of Press Coffee. This coffee shop is located in a strip mall with ample parking. The inside of the coffee shop consisted of a number of tables, a place to order and then a pastry case with plenty of good looking items in it. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a large hot latte while my wife went with a small hot latte. It took around 5 minutes or so and then we had our coffees and were on our way. My coffee here ended up being quite enjoyable as you could definitely taste that the coffee was fresh. There was also a nice ratio of milk to coffee and so there was a nice play on the bold flavor and slight bitterness from the coffee against the creamy milk. My wife also enjoyed her coffee as well. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. While my wife and I were a little disappointed with a lack of seasonal drinks, they do have good coffee and so I can understand why they would want you to taste it. read more

Was visiting from out of town and our Scottsdale local family recommended Press Coffee while we were waiting for our table at Butters. I had their Chocolate Peanut Butter Shaker and also tried the Peanut Butter Shaker. Both were really good, nutritionally not terrible and the coffee was good quality. Did not get a chance to try their pastries but everyone was friendly and service was quick considering how busy it was! We ended up stopping by the Scottsdale Quarter location twice more on our trip because we enjoyed the coffee so much! Would love to see a couple more specialty coffee options but I understand keeping the menu simple. read more

We sat outside each day of my three day stay in early December. The small patio received morning sun and afternoon shade--it was comfortable, perfect for catching up, and truly met our needs. I have been coming to this location before it was even Press Coffee. In 2021 it used to be a cozy coffee shop family owned and then press bought it and modernized it which lowkey sucks. What ever happened to cozy coffee shops. The coffee is amazing no doubt but the tables at the "couches" are so small. The chairs are cheap and loud whenever they move. And it is always freezing inside so bring a jacket. Although the outdoor patio is amazing. Some baristas are really nice but others not so much. Reason for the 4 stars. I overheard some baristas over multiple visits talking crap about guests and just complaining and not very nice. I understand people suck sometimes but dont say it in front of other guests lol. read more

The place is a little crowded this time of the year because people aren't sitting outside here in Scottsdale but we always manage to fit in to do a little reading and enjoy our drinks! I didn't love my iced matcha latte. I prefer the ones at Starbucks... but what was really, really good are the breakfast burritos! They are also HUGE. Me and my boyfriend make it a point to visit local coffee shops whenever we travel and we came upon Press Coffee! Saw that it had great reviews and needed to try it for ourselves. Just the interior and ambiance alone, we were sold. I'm not one to be flashy, so the inside of the coffee shop already impressed me. The service was great and the baristas are top notch! We got the 12 oz nitro cold brew and the 16 oz espresso honey cinnamon, and it did not disappoint! They had the nitro cold brew on tap, with that classic bitter but dark- chocolatey flavor. The espresso honey cinnamon has a smooth texture with a flavor similar to a churro/cinnamon roll. Next time we're in AZ, we're definitely coming back here :) read more

This was my first visit. It's close by work and was ideal for a meet up with a friend. We've even been to a restaurant next door. (Yeah, I live in the west so not familiar with theses parts. Lol. That is one reason I chose somewhere different.) The lake is beautiful, relaxing. We sat outside. I'm not a fan of animals but the dog on the animal was relaxing right along with their owner so I was okay. The barista was friendly and even gave us the origin of the Americano. Neat. It's a cute place to enjoy "quiet" time. The prices are to be expected and that's fine. Why I did not give five stars: I didn't care for the taste. It may have been because it was half & half and not heavy cream as well as the sweeteners they had from which I selected. FYI They do not use straws. My friend had a cold drink. Will I return? Yes, it served our purpose. It closes at 2pm so we had to wrap it up and get on with our day even though they said we could stay as long as we wanted. read more

My favorite Press location. They get busy, but they are so quick to get the coffee out and the staff is friendly and funny!

Coffee is really good here but it's so popular that there's a long line and a long wait for your order. There's patio seating and indoor seating too. A variety of pastries is presented as well but we just had coffee to go. Parking was also a bit of an issue as it was around 9am on a holiday Friday. But after having a good cup of latte, it was all worth the wait and the frustration of looking for parking. A definite must try but perhaps on another day or time when it's not too busy... read more

Hmm unfortunately we've circled back to the service issue of 3 years ago. Today our drink was incorrectly made for here instead of to go. No biggie. The woman says I'll just remake it really quick-no problem (it was a cortado so layering matters a bit) we say no problem-she starts to do it then a woman in a black turtleneck and jeans with long dark hair in a ponytail who appeared to be a manager told her no just dump it in a to go cup. I had watched this same woman tell the line to change directions (no problem) but in a rude way (this line needs to move) and just generally seems not customer service oriented. I came here because I live in Scottsdale but went to a coffee shop in Mesa and had a delicious vegan coffee cake from Sugarloaf Lane bakery. I found out they also supply to Lakeview which is not far from my house. Score! As the name suggests, it's right next to a lake. They have multiple iced tea options and outdoor seating. Besides pastries they also have a food menu that includes vegan options as well. I'll be back to try that out! read more

They also offer vegan baked goods that are delicious. The staff is always nice and friendly. The coffee is roasted in-house and it's good. We tried their breakfast burrito. It was nicely toasted and served with yummy salsa. Perfect portion size too. Highly recommend! They also had many tartines (French word for toast with toppings). We chose their original and it was the bomb! If youre hungry, you could probably eat two orders of these. The French press took a while to make for them but hubby enjoyed it very much.
