Mythical Coffee is one of my family's favorite coffee shops! The coffee is smooth. The staff is fun and friendly. Mythical is about 20 minutes away from me, but I often find a reason to stop by. They offer super creative seasonal drinks. My husband's current favorite is the blood orange elderflower espresso tonic. I am a creature of habit when it comes to my coffee (I always get a honey cinnamon oat milk latte), but their seasonal drinks have a hold on me and I never regret trying a new flavor! Staff was kind and the place had a nice vibe and aesthetic to it. I got a quad shot with some oat milk to save the shot. I will say the quality of beans here is top notch but the espresso I got at that moment was a tad bit on the sour side. My girlfriend got some lattes and they were really really good! Good coffee & tea selections! A nice large interior space with several tables. I especially loved their almond donuts wow. They make them on-site daily. I mostly avoid sugar, so I had to take off some of the generous and delicious frostings but am most impressed with the texture and taste of its dough -- lightly "dense" and very slightly chewy (a sign of freshness!). I really enjoy when I can stop at Mythical Coffee! They are always consistent at serving up tasty bervages and treats. Located a mile or so South of Downtown Gilbert, it's a great spot to meet a friend or get a bit of work done at. The space, though not massive, has numerous tables, outdoor patio and couch seating to choose form. The space sports bright white walls with various murals, tall ceiling and lots of great natural light. The service is always friendly and they have a consistent list of rotating seasonal specials, which is always refreshing when you want to try something new! I also love that they are greta about serving in glassware/mugs on a regular basis. It seems a lot of places are hit or miss with that, these days! I love getting a Chai latte, 1/2 sweet + 1/2 spicy! They;re latte's always hit the mark and have gotten their anocado toast before and really enjoyed it. I have tried some of their summer italian soda/espresso beverages, not for me, but thats not on them, I just sporadically order them HOPING one day I will like them, an acquired taste if you may, but great option if you are into that! read more

Great little place where I spent the morning. Enjoyed the overall feel and theme. Good business name draws attention. Welcoming and very attentive staff. Even after hanging out for hours, they noticed when anyone left and said goodbye. Cheery team here which added positively to the experience. Sparse furnishing which helps create more movement space. Seating inside and out is available. Inside has a couch and chair if you are not interested in a table and chairs. There is a bench to use while waiting for order if one chooses. Iced Green Tea is my go-to. It was nice flavor and no complains here. Like that they keep a few other options in a mini-cooler such as "bubbly water" Raspberry Lime (so good flavor) by Spindrift. Overall menu is limited but most people will find just what they want. Easy to parking in front or back of the building. read more

Love running into this cozy coffee shop in Gilbert. I was on the way to Painting with a Twist and decided to grab a cup of coffee and had the machiatto, it was great. This is a spacious coffee shop, with nice sitting areas including one area with a sofa. There were a number of folks hanging out with laptops or just chatting with friends/family. Felt like a very welcoming place. The service was friendly and quick. So glad to stumble upon this gem in town. read more

My friend loves this coffee shop so we came here after some yoga. It was busy on a late Saturday morning and all the tables were full, including the ones outside. The weather was beautiful and there was a good amount of parking behind the shop. I decided to get their chai latte, offered sweet or spicy (I chose spicy). We also ordered a blueberry matcha (instead of coffee) and a vanilla latte. It took about 10 minutes for our drinks to be ready and we were on our way. I tried the blueberry matcha and it was cool and refreshing. My chai latte was definitely spicy and it was pleasant to drink. The staff was friendly and I look forward to trying their Scottsdale location closer to me. read more

There is a real mythical place in Gilbert, Arizona tucked into a small plaza. It's unsuspecting and understated yet the perfect vibe to escape to when a hot coffee or trendy non-coffee bevvie is on your mind. At first glance it has a minimalist vibe with stark white walls, a few potted plants and lots of unused space but as you are a few sips into your cup, it's exactly the break needed from an overly stimulated busy society we now live. The friendly barista only added to this spur of the moment stop and I always appreciate coffee art skills:) Everything was clean and earthy, tables are well spaced inside and a velvet green couch in the corner is a quaint gather spot. A few tables are taken by digital nomad types on their MacBooks deep in thought. Outside a few little bistro tables to enjoy a spring breeze or soak up that morning sunshine. Love the vibe in here! It's very bright in a relaxing/happy kind of way. The staff are extremely friendly and easy to talk to and very sensitive to alternative ingredients and dietary restrictions. Mythical Coffee is a hip coffee shop in Gilbert. There are a few tables and chairs to enjoy your coffee at but this spot gets busy in the morning, so hopefully there's a spot when you get there. You can park in the front or the back of the shop for free. This coffee shop has a bunch of different hot and iced coffees to choose from. I ended up getting their iced matcha latte with almond milk. This coffee shop is located in Gilbert, but its worth the drive. I have never been to a coffee shop with friendlier staff. They have great lattes, I prefer their regular latte over the various flavors. Their overnight oats are amazing and a full meal in themselves. My favorite is their fall flavor the overnight pumpkin oats, soo good! My typical meal there includes their avocado toast with an over easy egg which they serve everyday until 2pm. They serve the toast on noble bread and it has the perfect topping of spice and salt with the egg. More recently I tried their tea when I stayed for lunch. They recommended the white tea which was delicious and they served it in a such a beautiful arrangement. I have one of their limited edition loch ness monster glass cups. They don't use them anymore. Be aware this is a very popular study spot from early on in the day. Even though they have several tables you will most likely be unable to find a seat and need to wait for a spot to open up. read more

Love this coffee shop so much! There's lots of tables inside and outside. They also have food till 2pm and also pastries. I usually get the iced matcha or chai tea latte. The Chai comes either sweet or spicy. I've never had the spicy version, but the sweet one is excellent! Lots of cinnamon flavor. I also love getting the avocado toast it has paprika and a sunny side up egg. They have a few other items on their food menu like overnight oats and a breakfast sandwich. Their kitchen is only open till 2 though. But they do have pastries and other sweets available all the time. I wish they were open longer and had more tables, but that's the thing about this coffee shop, it just feels very homey. I also love the staff! They make it a point to always ask about your day. We like going here because their hours are 7-6, so we can either hit it up before we start the day, go after work or do two visits in a day. On this visit, we actually had a couple of tables to choose from, so we snagged one before they got taken from the other eager patrons looking to escape the heat and suck on some delicious coffee. The hubby ordered his usual iced vanilla almond milk latte which never disappoints. I usually order off their seasonal menu, so I opted for the watermelon lemonade since I had two cortados earlier in the day. The drink was presented with two watermelon gummies on top of the lid and was great. The watermelon balanced out the tartness of the lemonade nicely and was a nice reprieve from the heat. We also picked up a bag of beans which were just roasted a few days earlier so will hang onto those for another week before we grind and brew them. read more

The colors of this drink made my day, and the flavors were so subtle and delicious, I will definitely get this more! The flavor was amazing with a very minimal kick but still a kick of spice nonetheless. The location is really cute and I wish I could remember the name of the guy who helped us as afterwards I had to tell him just how refreshing it was to be helped by someone who seemed to actually like their job or people. Awful customer service. Tried to meet a friend there yesterday at 4, but was running late. My friend got there a couple minutes early and went inside and sat at a table. She told me she was told very rudely by an employee that they were closing at 4, even though online it says 6. Tried to go again today at 3:05, doors were wide open and as I was walking up to the counter to order, the girl behind the counter told me "we're closed". Confused, I said "oh I'm sorry, what time do you close?" She rudely responded "we have a sign on the door...It says 3". I was appalled by her tone and how she spoke to me. I've always enjoyed going to this coffee shop and have always had great customer service, don't know what happened to all the friendly employees. read more

It was fine, nothing incredible or anything ....but definitely above your average Starbucks or small coffee shop. Would I go back? Sure ... but it was extremely busy so I would definitely want to wait until a less busy time / day for a trip back since there was hardly any seating available when I was there. The coffee itself tasted pretty good but I wouldn't put it top 3 or 5 tier in Phoenix personally, maybe top 10 though. The one thing that they really have going for them is that their specialty drinks / seasonal drinks are pretty good. They don't overuse sweeteners to hide the coffee flavor. read more
