Aidan- wow, talk about a kind soul, a good businessman. I came in for 1 donut and am leaving with a box. He also provided education on cake donuts. I let him know those are my husband's favorite and next time we will try a variety of those. Thank you for making my day brighter and definitely sweeter aka lots of donuts and kind words! ps- also a bit homesick for California and this place helps a lot, thank you!!

Oh mmmmmmmy. Why is it that I go completely loco about donuts/doughnuts when travelling? I never eat them at home. The variety here is off the charts. Park your calorie conscience at the door. Try Randy's. They're GOOD. Decent coffee too, with a ton of different creamers with different flavours.

First time trying Randy's! I'm from CA so I have always heard about it in the LA area I ordered 8 boxes for my team at work and my team was very happy and loved the donuts! They said they were moist and bigger than the usual donut store Staff was so friendly and made my order in such short notice I ordered the night before and I'm so grateful they were able to fulfill it in such short time Going forward they do appreciate 48 hour notice for large orders! I cannot wait to try the rest of their menu which features croissants, ice cream sandwiches, frozen drinks, coffee, boba drinks, & milk shakes! It was well lit and the decor is very appealing when you walk in The place also looked super clean!

As an Inglewood Baby, Randy's Donuts is near and dear to my heart. I'm so happy to know there's one about 20 minutes from my house, and that a piece of home is here. We walked in, it was about 3pm and they were sold out of majority of donuts but! They still had some good choices. I love the rounds and the smell of coffee in the air. The employees were so kind and friendly, they even told us they close at 6pm now. So please keep that in mind. I love that they had menus available & their drive thru available as well. The donuts are just iconic and a must try! Can't wait to be back.

Went all the way here for the advertised "250 USA" long boys. I got there 9am and they were sold out. The guy told me "we only made 12". 12 USA donuts on the 4th of July, the 250th anniversary of the USA? 12?!?! I got other donuts and all were really good so I'll give it 4 stars. I definitely get the hype, always heard about Randy's and finally got around to trying them. When you advertise a special donut on a holiday please don't be sold out by 9am. Especially when people drive 45 mins to get them.

I hadn't heard of this chain other than it's appearance in Iron Man 2 so I certainly was surprised to learn of this location in Gilbert. My mom and I stopped by here around 8 am on a Saturday and other than someone in the drive thru, the place was empty. Upon walking in, the first thing I noticed was how clean and bright the little store is, not to mention how picturesque the donut case looked. The girl working the front counter greeted us happily and after we said it was our first time trying the place out, she jumped into recommending us her favorite as well as fan favorites. Her customer service really made the entire experience a 10/10. She was super helpful, friendly, and patient as we were picking our dozen donuts. She was the one who suggested we go for the mixed dozen, which was picking three donuts from each of their four categories of donuts. They had so much variety and it was a good thing we were the only ones inside at the time, cause you know how stressful picking a whole dozen can be. This was the first time we gave a tip upon being prompted to give one by the iPad card reader lol. When we were done, she went the extra mile and gave us two free donuts of our choosing because we had said it was our first time in. We didn't know if that was an official thing, but we weren't complaining about it! We got one of the strawberry frosted gigantic Texas donuts (a donut the size of a cake for free? Sign me up!) After getting home and having a photoshoot of the beauties, we cut into almost all of them (both cake and yeast, hello) and each one was delicious. The yeast almost felt like a mixture of yeast and cake, and each was so soft and flavorful. The frosting on each frosted was delicious and the height of each was truly like no other donut place I'd ever been to. Shout out to the butter crumb raised, which was one of the ones recommended to us first. Here's a list of each donut we got: Pink raised with sprinkles Glazed twist Sugar raised Cinnamon crumb cake Chocolate iced cake Blueberry iced cake Butter crumb raised Chocolate crondy (croissant style which was really good) Oreos raised M&M raised S'mores raised Pink frosted Texas raised If only there was a location closer to us, we'd definitely come by more!

Great doughnuts and good coffee. Try the combo and enjoy life. Would famous since 1952, I remember driving by the big doughnut going to Laker games at the Forum. Grab some today!

Half dozen ~ buttermilk bars, cherry frosted and matcha tea (the original glazed gotten eaten before pic! ‍)

Drove by here on Sunday morning and thought I recognized the name from a California donut shop. Come to find out it is the same. We ordered a half dozen and stuck with buttermilk bars, cherry frosted and original glazed. The donuts were very fresh and the customer service was great. Love that it is a drive thru for convenience yet have all of the donuts pictured. Was not very busy for a Sunday morning and hope they open more locations. Definitely will be back!

    A nice cuppa.

Since starting in 1952, Randy's Donuts is the most recognized donut shop in the world. Phoenix now has almost a handful of locations now. How lucky are we!? I can't imagine giving Randy's anything less than five stars. The people here are so ridiculously nice. Despite the guy that helped me saying he had been here since 5AM, he was still very personable. I hope upper management are paying the staff well because I'm no longer a fan; I'm an air conditioner! I had order a mixture of crondys (croissant doughtnuts), cake doughnuts, and raised. I'm a raised/yeast doughnut fan myself so I made sure to get a mixture. The raised/yeast doughnut is where it's at although the crondy was also ridiculously good. Stop by often to try their seasonal flavors. I had also ordered a Randy's Roast coffee as well since I had been up since 4AM and took a cycle class in the morning. They accidentally gave my coffee away which I didn't mind. They quickly realized their mistake, apologized, and started on making a new one. One of the kind staff felt bad, even though it wasn't a long wait at all, and offered to give me a free doughnut and a doughnut hole. It was totally unnecessary but greatly appreciated. It won me over right away. The apology was enough but a free sweet too? Wow! Pro-tip: Bring cash to tip these hard workers. Bring cash and tip generously!

So have had the original Randy's in L.A. and this isn't it. We got six different ones and although the cream filled long John was really good as was the Nutella one, the rest didn't cut it. The apple fritter was actually too well done and had an almost burnt taste. We also had the Matcha, coconut and the plain buttermilk bar. We were not impressed finding these to be dry and flavorless. Not our cup of tea.

Stopped by around 7pm last Thursday and we were quickly greeted as we walked in. We had no idea what we wanted so we stood there and looked at all the different doughnuts we could choose from. A family then walked in and they too stood and looked at the selection for a few minutes. They ended up being faster then us so they ordered first. One of the workers then came over and explained to us all the different doughnuts / toppings and even offered us some samples! We ended up getting one pink sprinkle, one cookie crumble, one glazed, and one matcha. Once in the car, we realized they had thrown in two extra doughnuts. The doughnuts were good. They were not too sweet and pretty thick in size. Service was great and the inside felt very clean. Will be back!

Yay! Randy's Donuts has finally arrived in the East Valley! This iconic donut shop gained popularity in LA and has since expanded across the country and even internationally. The Gilbert location just opened on Thursday, October 10. I happened to be in the area yesterday and decided to drop by. I arrived after 2pm and received a warm welcome. As expected, the shop was out of many items. Fortunately, they still had some of my favorite flavors like maple, chocolate, and glazed. I went with a half dozen: glazed, maple, chocolate, coffee raised (premium), vanilla cake, and their seasonal offering, pumpkin. The classic donuts are priced at $1.90, deluxe at $2.15, fancy at $2.65, and premium at $3.65. I also ordered an iced vanilla oat milk latte. I honestly didn't have high expectations for coffee from a donut shop, but their latte was smooth and wasn't too sweet. I couldn't resist, so I took a bite of the glazed donut before even leaving the parking lot and wow! The dough was perfection. Once I got home, I immediately sampled the rest. As a yeast donut girly, I liked the yeast the best with coffee raised being my favorite. It's safe to say, I like Randy's Donuts a hole lot! I look forward to returning and trying more flavors. I got my eye on that crondy! I recommend going in the morning before they sell out of most items. Randy's Donuts also has a drive-thru if you don't want to go inside.

Happy to have one in Gilbert not too far from the office! The staff was friendly! . I only ordered my usual - glazed donut! Yummy and fresh! Cool spot kinda hidden. They even have seating outside.

    Awesome staff and tasty donuts!!!

He was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. With SO many sandwiches on the menu, choosing was definitely the hardest part! After ordering a toasted sub at the counter (I got the La Canna - their take on the Italian), I went to the drink station and there's hundreds, maybe thousands of stickers plastered all over the place- on the walls, on drink dispensers, bathroom doors, and more. The drink station has a Pepsi soda fountain, sweet and unsweet tea and several flavors of Kool Aid. The coolest thing inside is the giant mural on the West wall that was custom-made for this location, as it features the nearby San Marcos Resort and Hotel in the background. Pretty neat touch. I sat on the West side of the restaurant where they have large glass windows and natural light pouring in. You can watch people wander downtown Chandler as you dine. The sub was delivered to my table open-faced. The bread is a great blend of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The meats and cheese were a little thin to my liking but they tasted great warmed up. The veggies and the dressing were lightly applied but add just enough flavor to accentuate the sandwich. It's an above-average sub for an above-average price, so you get what you pay for. They have some unique sides (munchies) and desserts as well. I didn't try any of them but they had some unique items like nachos and meatball bowls. I would recommend trying Cheba Hut for anyone who likes a good toasted sandwich. Only positives from my experience!

Well, we gave Cheba Hut another shot last night, and while this was definitely a better experience…read morethan the last one, we are still completely befuddled about how we're supposed to place an order and actually get the food the way we ordered it. My wife ordered the Power Plant, and we paid extra for Extra Spicy Ranch. Again. But apparently the employees have some kind of vendetta against actually putting Extra Spicy Ranch on the sandwich when you order Extra Spicy Ranch. I can just picture someone reading the ticket: "Oh look, the customer has explicitly said they want Extra Spicy Ranch! They even PAID for Extra Spicy Ranch! But because I work here, and I am the gatekeeper of Spicy Ranch, NONE SHALL PASS!" At this point I'm convinced there's a giant slug-like mob boss named Cheeba the Hutt, cousin of Jabba the Hutt, sitting somewhere in the back of Cheba Hut guarding the Spicy Ranch reserves. Apparently selecting it online and paying actual money for it isn't enough to get past Cheeba. Every time we pay for extra, never have we got extra - how do I know? Because the sandwich is dry. I ordered a Build Your Own because Cheba Hut has decided to no longer carry the A-Train, which was my legit GO TO! I'm still salty about that one. I selected mayo, Dijon mustard, and regular mustard on my sandwich, so thankfully I had enough sauce to keep me content. Mine was actually pretty good. Then there was the Rainbow Crispy. What a con-job! I thought I was getting a Fruity Pebbles crispy treat. Oh noooooo. They watered that sucker down with Cap'n Crunch and Crunch Berries too! If I wanted a Crunch Berry bar, I would've ordered a Crunch Berry bar. Hoodwinked! I do want to be fair because this visit WAS better. Pickup went smoothly, the ingredients were fresh, and after our previous awful experience Cheba Hut refunded our entire order. Their customer service afterward was great, and I absolutely give them credit for making things right. I even reached out before this visit because I didn't want anything free. I just wanted to pay for our food, have it prepared the way we ordered it, and hopefully get back to having the positive Cheba Hut experiences we used to have. And that's really where my frustration comes from. Cheba Hut used to be a "Fo Sho!" for us. It was one of those places where you knew what you wanted, knew it was going to be good, and didn't think twice about ordering. Unfortunately, that "Fo Sho!" confidence has now been reduced to more of a, "Meh... I hope they don't mess it up again." So this visit does redeem Cheba Hut somewhat. We're moving back up to 3 stars. The ingredients are fresh, there's still a lot to like, and I KNOW they can make a damn good sandwich. We just need to figure out how to consistently get the sandwich we actually ordered.
