Got a variety -- the highlights were the fantastic glazed donut holes, the amazing old fashioned strawberry frosted, and the apple fritter. Easily the best apple fritter I have ever had and probably the best old fashioned donut I've ever experienced as well! Rainbow Donuts and Smoothies has been on my list for the past two years or so, and I finally got to try them back in May! I was craving a donut and happened to be in the area running an errand and noticed the sign. It was meant to be! The shop is cozy and gives off small, family-owned vibes. I was immediately greeted upon entering. I chose a few donuts, including a glazed, a maple, and chocolate, all yeast. I couldn't help myself so I took a bite of each as soon as I got in my car. LOL. My wife was having a donut jones and we decided to come here. She got an Apple Fritter and Glazed donut, and I tried their Cronut square crossiant type donut. They were all excellent! The old Asian man behind the counter was happy and talkative and great to talk to. They also have a 3-6pm special...buy a dozen and get 6 free! Found them on Yelp! Super friendly staff guy was very helpful and nice. Just leaves you feeling in a good mood, honestly being friendly is contagious. I let him know it was our first time and he offered free taste test. My boys loved it came in for half dozen and walked out with more:). Everything looked so good. They have few seating if you choose to dine in with a small party. They have several drink options and bottled beverages, smoothies, teas ect.. they do have a restroom available to guest ..thankfully when you have kiddos they can't ever hold it. Soffffft, chewy, tasty and joyful doughnuts! They continue being the best ones in the valley, and this is since 15 years or so that I tried them for the 1st time. This is excellent consistency. Try the apple crumble- the crumb is so tasty and the filling is a prefect ratio to the dough, like having a perfect apple pie slice but in a soft doughnut. The classics are perfection. Fresh doughnuts, friendly service, and typically a really good selection. Salesperson always seems prompt and can answer your questions about what's in the case or helping set you up with something you're in mood for. My last visit I was surprised to see they had a Tiger Tail. In fact I didn't believe it was that so I asked to make sure. A glazed twist doughnut with chocolate AND cinnamon twisted into the dough. Wonderful! I've not had anything other than the doughnuts so no feedback on beverages or sandwiches. I will say I've received a few bonus doughnut holes tossed into the bag on more than one occasion. Always a pleasant surprise. The shop is in a strip mall down the way from Fry's. Parking right outside the entrance if you're lucky. Stopped in because of a promo from another app and was impressed with Rainbow Donuts! The donuts are a little lighter and more airy than some other donuts we usually get in the valley. There was a very large variety of donuts and I just discovered they might have croissant donuts? I missed that whole trend so I'm looking forward to trying those next time. My kids loved the non-traditional icing colors like blue and green next to the regular white and pink icings that everyone has. I guess that's why "rainbow" is in the name! First time here , found them on Yelp. I was intrigued by the photos of their original doughnut creations. I bought a dozen to share with my coworkers. I purchased a couple off fruitypebbles, a few maple with bacon, cookies & cream, chocolate w/ animal crackers, velvet red cake, and the traditional glazed. I personally tasted the maple with bacon...yum . They donate was soft and fresh as well as the frosting the bacon bits were nice and crispy to add a different texture. It took the staff a minute to come to the front after we walked in, which was nice because I had my little with me, and she's all about looking at donuts and the fun colors. It gave us time to look around for a minute without the pressure of being rushed. When the two came out, it was the cutest elderly people I've come across in a long time. We ordered off an app that sells leftovers and let me say that this was such a deal, I can't say it enough. 22 donuts for 10 bucks was pretty awesome. So I've never purchased like this before so I was expecting about a dozen but when he said, "be careful, it's heavy, I was like, how heavy could a box of a dozen donuts be?!" Yeah, the box kept buckling in the center because of the weight. While trying to get a grip, my daughter ran to a table to sit and eat and the gentleman mentioned she wanted to stay and eat, but I said, "no, we've got to go home." I really didn't want to dirty up the place, and she tends to mainly eat just the toppings off donuts. Anyways, by the time I got the grip on the box, my daughter was trying to open the door, and within those seconds, the gentleman was behind us, offering her two donut holes. He was so sweet to her. Wow we loved this place! We were visiting from San Diego and stopped before our road trip home. The owner was so friendly, funny, and nice. He gave me donut hole samples while I waited. They were so soft, fresh and yummy! And then my husband had an apple crumb donut, which tasted like a homemade holiday dessert, and I had a coconut cream donut which reminded me of a malasada from Hawaii! My kids enjoyed their donuts too. On top of that, we got Vietnamese iced coffee which was also good! Love this spot. We'll be sure to drop in the next time we're visiting! read more

The bagels are fresh, fluffy and crispy , the croissants are the real deal, flaky and buttery. They offer all of their breakfast sandwiches on croissants as well. The jalapeño kolaches are delicious, I recommend buying some when you visit and nuking them later. The glazed croissants are worth a try as well and my son swears by their maple bacon donuts.
