We were in the area and were immediately drawn in to the monument sign saying "Hurts Donuts." We were a big donut family and love trying to local establishments when on vacation. Food The display is a thing of beauty. There are so many different options to choose from. We had just eaten, so we knew we didn't need a dozen, but we just had to get something. We ended up loading up on a variety chocolate donuts. Kong John, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, S'mores, and a chocolate with rainbow chips. All four were excellent. The chocolate frosting almost melted in your mouth. 5/5 Service We were greeted by one woman behind the counter. She was friendly and helpful and made it a positive experience. 5/5 Ambiance This place had some of the best decor I've seen in any restaurant, let alone donut shop. I don't know that I've ever had a bad donut from Hurts! This has been my early morning stop to take donuts to my team at work. I have been coming here for a couple years. The donuts always taste good, they'll be open when you want the middle of the night sugar fix, and the service is always excellent. If you go in the super early morning hours you're likely to run into Brit and she's a hoot. Also always puts together the best assortment of randomness. There is a ton of seating inside and the counter has sooo many options to choose from. Definitely recommend. read more

This is such a cute little donut shop. I asked a friend who lives in AZ what is the best donut shop there and she said Hurts Donut. Now aside from me wanting to make corny jokes their donuts are really good. I think they have the world's biggest cinnamon Rolls and Apple fritters. I have seen this place a hundred times driving by and I finally stopped in! Now I'm kicking myself for not stopping the other hundred times that I drove by. This place was phenomenal. They had an excellent selection of incredible donuts. I got the blueberry cake and it was probably my favorite doughnut I've ever had. The employee asked if it was my first time there and of course I had told him yes so he recommended quite a few options, the blueberry one being one, so I got a half a dozen. I have NOT eaten any Halloween candy so of course I was craving something sweet. While on a comic book quest (Namor) I stopped at Monster Comics I saw Hurts Donuts. I stopped in to my amazement look at the delicious looking donuts on display. The server gave me a rundown while delivering excellent customer service. Did a little pit stop donut shop as it had high reviews. Cool looking place and very big for a donut shop. Would be great for studying if they showed they have wifi access and maybe served extra drinks like boba. Very cool it is open all day and night they advertise. All the donuts looked good. Favorite was the blueberry donut, but it was definitely on the sweeter side. Their chocolate covered donut with custard was good, but also very sweet. If you have a very sweet tooth, you may like this place. I personally prefer less sweet. Parking is easy aa it has a large lot. Heard a lot of good things about Hurts Donuts, but sadly, they were meh. Stopped here after I had my Ted's Hot Dogs. Walked in and browsed the selections. Asked if they had any buttermilk bars, and the lady said they don't even make them. What? No buttermilk bars? Come on bruh! I went with a Twix donut and an old fashioned donut. Total was $6.50. Damn, son! These better be amazing! Nope. Twix Donut- Looked good, but it wasn't. The Twix pieces were all soft and not crunchy like a Twix bar should be. The donut itself was very soft. I prefer my exterior to be a little "crisp" after its been fried in the oil. I ate it, but wouldn't get it again. Old Fashioned- Eh....better than the Twix, but still not that good. Same issue...no "crisp" to it. Super soft. Glad I stopped, but probably wouldn't come back. Too far from my house, no buttermilk bar (my favorite donut), and freaking expensive as hell for 2 donuts! We were in the area and decided to stop by and get some donuts. They are one of the business on TooGoodToGo, the food saver app. I bought a surprise bag for $9.99 before tax and headed over. It's a spacious place with a wide variety of donuts. I was greeted by a staff member and shared that I was picking up a bag. He grabbed two boxes for me and explained one was a dozen donuts and the other was a large cinnamon roll. He suggested heating the cinnamon roll which was a good tip. I checked to make sure I didn't get a bacon donut (negative) and was on my way! I liked the variety of donuts I got. Obviously the ones with cookie, cereal and other dry toppings don't stay fresh and crunchy for long. I tried a few flavors and enjoyed the chewy textures more than the cake/brioche types. I like the creativity and would be interested to see if they have more savory flavors. The Andes mint was great, as was the German chocolate cake and the streusel. The donuts are very sweet but maybe I've become more sensitive recently. The cinnamon roll was the biggest one I've ever seen and it was good heated, less sweet than the donuts. Why is it called hurts donuts? I was curios I looked it up. The name, Hurts Donut, comes from a silly joke. You ask someone if they want a Hurts Donut. If they say yes, you punch them on the arm and say, "Hurts, don't it." Love the personality that is put in the shop. Had me giggling with the fun humor throughout the shop.
