First Impressions: This was my first time visiting BoSa Donuts, and I was immediately impressed by how fresh everything looked. The variety was great--classics, filled, chocolate-covered, cake-style, and even coconut-covered options all beautifully arranged in the box. The moment I opened the lid, that sweet, warm donut smell hit me in the best way. Interactions: The staff was polite and quick to help. Even though it was my first time, I felt comfortable asking about the different flavors. They moved fast but still made time to be friendly and patient. Service: Very efficient and smooth experience. The order was ready quickly, and everything was packed neatly. It felt like they took pride in making sure the donuts looked just as good as they tasted. Food: The donuts were fresh, soft, and had the perfect amount of sweetness. The chocolate glaze had a rich flavor, the coconut-covered one had a great texture, and the powdered one was fluffy and generously filled. You could tell these were made that morning--nothing tasted stale or overly processed. Value: For the quality and quantity of donuts in the box, the value was definitely there. OK, so I almost feel like I shouldn't even rate Bosa donuts because those who know me know that I shouldn't even be here. But this Bosa is different and now I understand why it's not part of the franchise network. Majority of locations say "Smoothies & Drinks" show franchising This one on Baseline & Mill Ave just said BOSA DONUTS but had proper espresso services. With a wider array of menu items in addition to the addictive donuts that you expect. Also I saw someone working or studying at a table in the corner so the environment is calm enough for productivity as well. When I have a great doughnut, I do not want a water down, drip coffee, or cappuccino from a powdered robot machine and this BOSA gets it!! read more

I like how the donuts are soft on the inside. While they are not as light as a couple of doughnut shops, they are definitely lighter than some of the other ones. Some prefer heavy bread-like doughnuts. I prefer mine to be more like a light cake or fried mochi. These almost fit the bill. The frosting on top of the doughnuts are what you would expect and the flavors are the typical ones. They have lots of different types of doughnuts including the traditional glazed and the sprinkles on top kind. I really liked their ham and cheese croissants. Extremely poor experience with respect to product and service. The server Leanna was extremely rude. Service was super slow. When giving my order they completely messed it up. When asking for my bagel after receiving my donuts I got a snarky remark from Leanna stating that "it takes time to toast a bagel sir" after waiting for over twenty minutes. My son-in-law went and picked up breakfast take out for us today. I'm staying in Arizona helping with my daughter's newborn and two-year-old and having the time of my life. The two-year-old has been craving donuts and I wanted to see if they had donuts as good as we have in Rhode Island. I have to say that Bosa was pretty darn good. Their donuts were light and tasty. The chocolate croissant was amazing. My granddaughter had a doughnut with frosting and sprinkles that was as big as her head and she, of course, loved the frosting in the sprinkles. We also got breakfast sandwiches. They were very unusual to me, not having had them back east. They were made on a very light and flaky croissant and it had what appeared to be a very little bit of filling. It was ham and I think cheese and I ordered mine with a jalapeño. It looks like just a little bit of filling but boy was it full of flavor. The croissant is so light that you definitely get enough filling in each bite to last through the sandwich. The croissant was very tasty and the ham and the jalapeño were terrific. I didn't go to the store itself but I want to do that before I go back east. It's only a few minutes away and they have more than one location here in Tempe. So it was a nice little family breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it and I am looking forward to going back. read more

The service was extremely poor, the lady working the counter clearly rushed through taking the order and making the drink. We had asked for a Lychee reboot(an energy drink offered at other bosa locations) instead of informing us she quickly said "lychee tea?" quietly and we mistakenly just thought she was confirming the flavor. We then asked for boba in the drink. When we received the drink we immediately noticed it wasn't what we asked for, we tried it and did not like it, and asked if we could possibly have it remade without boba because if we had realized which drink we were getting, we would not have gotten boba. The lady responded extremely rudely from the start taking an attitude immediately despite our calm demeanor and became accusatory because she "checked with us" while ordering. She could've politely said no they don't remake drinks but instead became hostile and defensive immediately. The entire time we were in the store she seemed very agitated and in a rush to be off somewhere else and like she couldn't be bothered to take orders or assist customers. I've never had issues with service at a bosa before and have been a long time customer of multiple other locations so i was very surprised to see such a nasty display of service in one of their stores. read more

I love all Bosa. The donuts are delicious. Came here after a long walk in the park with my dog. This is during Covid19 so social distancing was of a concern of mine. This location has setup measures to keep employees and patrons safe. This location does not have a drivethru. However it does have a patio. Patio has some room for patrons to enjoy their coffee and goodies. Only 4 stars because my donut didn't have as much crunch on it as normal. Felt more like a cinnamon donut than a crunch donut. Disclaimer: I eat donuts very seldom. They are a splurge item for me so I enjoy them maybe TWO times a year. Where do I go when I need a GREAT donut? BOSA! After church we decided we needed a sweet snack and an ice coffee. We headed to Bosa and I'm glad we did. There was a short line, but we made our way to the front pretty quickly. They seem to have the process down. One worker takes orders while the other rings up and they switch once they have rung up the order they worked on. Got home and opened the bag. I had a glazed donut and let me tell you, it was worth every single calorie. Fresh, fresh, fresh. I'm gonna say better than that other popular donut shop with the "Hot Now" sign. If I could put a negative star I would. I've been here numerous times and always enjoyed it. Today I was excited to go home and eat my food from here. I bought my sister and her son each a bacon, egg and cheese bagel while I got the tuna croissant. As we started eating my sister noticed GREEN mold on her bagel. Upon realization, she looked at her sons bagel that he had already eaten half of and saw mold on his as well. They both immediately started feeling ill and nauseous. We took pictures (thank goodness) and immediately took them back. When we went to speak to a manager, there was only one girl there and she was extremely rude and unprofessional and had such a lack of empathy towards the situation. She called the manager over the phone and they tried to convince us they were green sprinkles. Green sprinkles? Seriously? She told us there were no refunds. After some more discussion she finally opened the register and gave us 3 dollars when our total bill was $14 including the tip we gave their ungrateful employees. And proceeded to argue that we only brought one bagel back! We brought back both bagels which you can clearly see the mold on. What kind of "professional" business would not completely reimburse upset customers whom have repeatedly brought them business? Do not bring your business here. To be honest, when I first passed by this Bosa location, my first thought was "WHAT HAPPENED TO BARRO'S?!" Then I realized it was Bosa and everything was okay in the world again. I love their crazy hours cause I managed to grab two dozen on the way to work and oh my god, did it smell amazing. As soon as I opened the door of my car, in came wafting the smell of donuts. The lady was crazy efficient in filling up the two boxes in under a minute. Also kudos to her and whoever else who works that shift cause the morning sun comes flooding in, right into the store. Very friendly and helpful, they make the experience well worth the while...and of course, the donuts speak for themselves. As I can attest to, they're like crack in a box! Once you have one, you can't help but want more! This store is always very clean and well-maintained. The girl working the counter was very nice! The blueberry and old fashioned donuts were especially yummy and crispy on the outside. The hazelnut flavoring for the iced coffee is good, just make sure to mix in the syrup welwhen you get to the last half of the drink! I wonder if they make cruelers on a certain days?
