Boba and donuts are my love language, so when we saw this sign while driving by, we had to make a stop. We were greeted by the new owner as soon as we walked in. He let us know he just took over very recently and was still learning. Boba & Donuts offer a wide variety of drinks, donuts, breakfast items, and even ice cream. I decided on a durian slush with boba, my husband on a taro slush with boba, and my sister in law on a matcha slush with boba. We also ordered a half dozen mixed donuts. The drinks and donuts were fairly cheap. A half dozen donuts was only ~$5.99! Though the drinks were refreshing, they weren't our favorite. The donuts however, were very good! Don't let the surroundings of this wonderful boba place steer you away. This boba and donut shop had a generous size and serving of boba pearls for a very reasonable price. Unlike other shops that over complicate the process of ordering and have up charges and add ins, this place doesn't. If you want good, flavorful boba tee without the hassle, this place rocks. It isn't full of bells and whistles or glam but aren't the best food places like that? In my opinion, yes! The donuts were tasty as well. I have been different boba spots in the city, I'm glad I stopped by. At Boba & Donut, I ordered their taro milk tea with tapioca pearls. It was delicious, I drank almost half of it and then realized I needed to take a picture. I have been on a taro flavor kick lately, and it satisfied my cravings. I didn't care much for the texture of their tapioca pearls. They had many different donut selections, and I'll be back to try some in the future. The staff was great with her recommendations. Super friendly staff. Walked in last night not realizing they were already closed! We wanted boba but that's ok. Staff offered us free donuts since they're closed already. We were like "Wait, what? Did we hear that right?" He asked us what we wanted and we chose a couple. He was like "That's it?" And then started tossing in a few more. Definitely would've loved to come back and try some boba and other items but we didn't have time unfortunately. I work inside AZ Mills and often I like to visit this Donut Shop in the morning before work. Their donuts are so delicious, they melt in your mouth. So much better than the big franchise options all around town. I went in with my family today and he gifted my wife a Thai tea. Tempting and Tasty! The name basically sums up what this place is all about. A locally owned tiny venue that serves a variety of creative Boba. I'm not a fan of Boba but my friends as well as family are and they love it at this location. What I am fan of is donuts. They make them fresh daily and they taste so good. Matter of fact the little glazed donut holes are my favorite. The price point is reasonable and they always have plenty in stock. They offer a little bit more. Grab a chai tea or coffee. This review is for the donuts only. Yelp rarely leads me astray but it did this time. I've been hunting for great donuts and saw good reviews for this business. I dropped by on a Saturday and sampled their glazed raised. It was dry and tasted like it had been sitting out for a couple of days. I've had much better donuts from grocery store bakeries. I heard of this place on Groupon, which has a 20% cash back deal. I didn't realize it was in the same plaza as Chanpen, so after dinner there I stopped in here. There wasn't any customers when I walked in after 7pm and the owner greeted me. I told her it was my first time and asked if they had other locations, she said her other store is in Chandler but with Bosa Donuts nearby, the competition has been tough and sales have suffered. She had a positive demeanor though and was nice. I got a small Thai iced tea and upgraded to the larger size when I was told that there's a $0.35 surcharge for credit payments under $3. Inexpensive drinks here and I was too full to consider buying donuts. My drink was okay, the flavors of the Thai tea were fine but the boba was too soft and flavorless for my liking. Also I'm picky and like the sealed lids, and this was just a regular plastic lid. Can't comment on the donuts but maybe next time! read more

As a Californian, this place was interesting. There are plenty of boba places in CA. There are plenty donut place. But there is NO place that has boba & donuts! After 1 week of hard work, we were craving for boba. Surprisingly, the donuts were good even at 7pm - soft and puffy. The problem with this place was service. We came in when a couple of thinking about what to order. So, nicely, they told us that we can go first. Keep in mind, we ordered our stuff by phoning in 30 minutes. Still, our drinks were not ready. :-/ The couple waited for 15 minutes before they could make their order. Felt bad, as they waited for a while to make an order. My family got boba drinks here and my boys who ordered mango boba got violently ill from the boba drinks. They both puked it all up a couple hours later. Be warned this might happen to you. Those donuts look tasty, but I went in for the boba, and it did not live up to expectations. The boba seemed overly firm and stale. Even the milk teas (matcha and Thai) had an unpleasant aftertaste. Boba tea is one of my favorite treats, and I ended up dumping half my drink down the sink. I usually stop here a few times a week for a breakfast sandwich. I get the same one every time. I've never had an issue until today. I always order the bacon, ham, cheese and egg croissant. Well today I received a croissant but it had bacon, ham, cheese and SAUSAGE. NO EGG. When I was handed the sandwich before paying he said oh you got the one with bacon. Sometimes chocolate covered, sometimes not. I've had their donut holes. They were heavenly. Like little fluffy clouds from heaven. Btw, I come at the end of the day. Can't imagine what they taste like in the morning. On to Boba. I've gotten Thai tea with Boba. Tasted just like Thai tea with Boba. But my favorite is their lychee and passion fruit teas. Probably the best donuts I've had in Phoenix in a long time! The apple fritter was a little on the small side, but what it lacked in size, it made up for in flavor. It was the perfect fritter! Maple long johns were delicious as well! And we went in late in the day too, but donuts were lively, and fresh! The owner I'm assuming was lovely. She was very kind, and generous and helpful! Which isn't really something donut shop owners are known to be! I absolutely adored her! Her markup in her refrigerated drinks is incredibly low, and honestly, as we sat there and ate our donuts and drank our bottled Starbucks coffee, we agreed that she should really charge more for them.
