Chicken Crepe: lettuce, wonton sheets, popcorn chicken, and three different types of sauces
    Joyce W.

Jianbing Crepe 煎餅 is a traditional Chinese street food item, similar to crêpes. It is generally eaten for breakfast and hailed as "one of China's most popular street breakfasts." Sitting in Arizona Mills' newly renovated food court, Tea & Crepes is an adorable stand with dinosaurs on the wall and all that fun stuff. The Cheese Peach Tea I ordered was delicious and refreshing. It wasn't too sweet, and the taste was balanced. The Chicken Crepe I had wasn't what I was expecting but I wasn't disappointed. It had lettuce, some wonton sheets, popcorn chicken, and three different types of sauces. I was told it would be spicy but I didn't find it to be spicy at all. It's not a deal breaker though. I believe it was just under $20 for both items after tip. The staff here is friendly! Stand by the glass pane if you want to watch them meticulously and carefully make your jianbing. Come here and support Tea & Crepes!

    The Dirty Tea with Boba

Lately, I've been on a milk tea kick and decided to try this location when visiting Arizona Mills Mall. There are at least three tea shops in this mall that I saw, but decided to try this one as it seemed the most popular with a beautiful store front - love the dinosaurs! I'm normally an earl grey milk tea or wintermelon milk tea drinker, but neither were on the menu so I asked the cashier for a recommendation. They suggested the dirty milk tea with boba. Overall, it was okay but I feel compared to other local milk teas that I've had I would prefer elsewhere. Still a solid choice for when you are doing your shopping and would try another tea next time.

Stopped by for a quick bite Sunday afternoon. They weren't busy while I was ordering but the line quickly grew after I received my order. I got the chicken dumplings. They come with a sauce and seaweed on top. I also got a Thai tea. Both were delicious! The pricing is good for the product. The cashier was polite and down to earth. The area was clean. I'll definitely stop by again because they have a lot of drink and food options I want to try!

It was the kind of ownership attitude that took ownership for making everyone feel welcomed and want to belong here. The "owner," the owner and the chef chatted warmly with my colleague who had apparently been a regular there. But I saw other people enter and be greeted by name too; this place has a folksy ambiance that is very welcoming. The Grand Prix Crêpe I Ordered was recommended to me; I never would have ordered something like this unless it was encouraged. It was quite good and quite unique!

I gave them a list, my cousin said, "let's go," and we ended up here. Absolutely spectacular. The service was very nice, and you can even see how your food is made. It's an open kitchen with a coffee corner, and a place that makes homemade granola with a space that a lot of people are looking to sit down at. It's one thing for there to be no seats, but the Crêpe Bar had no seats because it was busy and because they do not disappoint with what they serve. If you want to pre plan what you want to get, no fret. They have an online menu. My cousin got the Second Time with Pork Belly on the side, my uncle got the Burrito Adobo Crêpe, and I got the Papa K with scrambled eggs. For the next 10 minutes, we ate and had only good comments about it. It also opened my eyes on what crepes could be, not exclusively sweet, but also savory and delicious. It is affordable. On average, you're spending $13-$15 per person, and if you want more, they got sides too. Though please note that I haven't tried their coffee. I saw a couple customers with cold brews or caramel macchiatos chilling while doing work, but please don't skip out. This is a breakfast and lunch place, so if you're in the area, you need to try it. It is fantastic for a reason and could arguably expand with how many people they serve. You can see the hosts, coffee baristas, and the cooks getting work done - that also has to be praised.

The eggs Benedict were served on either untoasted or barely toasted English muffins that instantly became soggy due to the abundance of what was supposed to be holandaise sauce. Because it neither tasted or looked like hollandaise I inquired if it was made in house or a store bought product. Staff ensured me it was made it house. The hash brown potatoes, much like the English muffin, were undercooked and quite tasteless. I prefer supporting locally owned restaurants rather than chains but cannot recommend the Sweet Dessert Cafe to anyone.

We arrived a few minutes after they opened on a Friday morning (Juneteenth). The woman behind the counter was extremely friendly and was so kind to suggest ice cream flavors for both of us. My kiddo is a chocolate fan, so he went with a small size chocolate with sprinkles and I went with their popular Blue Coconut dipped in Dark Chocolate Sea Salt. When she brought out our ice cream, I thought "oh, how simple" but the moment you take a bite of that ice cream, the flavor is far from simple. It's like that McDonald's ice cream soft serve style creaminess texture and flavor, but slightly richer. The coconut flavor with the sea salt dark chocolate crunch for me was exactly what I needed on that hot desert morning. Seating was plentiful inside and the customer service was definitely on point. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other dessert options like the crepes and even their boba teas.
