I have known this place for two years, but today is the first time I ate here, and it is beyond my expectations. 1. The shop is very clean and organized inside with a good utilization of the space. 2. I tried the pork noodles, which is very authentic Taiwanese style in my opinion. 3. My boyfriend and I have been meaning to try this place for two years!!! This was the original spot for our first date but I ran late with work and the place had closed. And we haven't had a chance to stop by until now. It is SO CUTE!! The lady who helped us was extremely friendly and sweet and patient with us. She gave us a your of the place and showed us all of the drawings that guests have drawn over the years. You can tell she is very proud of this place and loves what she does. We decided to check out this spot after one of our Taiwanese friends recommended it, and we're so glad we did! We stopped by on a Friday around 3:30 PM, and the restaurant's cute green alien theme immediately caught our eye. It's definitely hard to miss! There's a private parking lot with plenty of spots, which is always a win. Inside, the place has a fun, cozy vibe with walls covered in customer notes--mostly little drawings of aliens and boba drinks, which made it feel extra unique. The restroom was huge and super clean (at least when we were there), and even though it's shared by both genders, it's a big plus. We were excited to try the food and went with: Popcorn Chicken (definitely a must-try!); Deep-Fried Tofu; Pork Belly Rice; Lemon Mint Mojito Everything was delicious! The popcorn chicken was crispy, the pork belly rice had amazing flavor, and the tofu was spot on. The mojito was refreshing too! This is such a unique boba shop and I am so happy that I stopped by. I love anything Alien themed and as soon as I walked in I felt right at home. There were two ladies working with one being the owner / person in charge. They quickly greeted us as we walked in and we then looked over the menu. My sister ordered the berry smoothie and I had the strawberry smoothie with crystal boba. I grabbed my mom a blank sheet of paper so she could draw out her Alien. There was an assortment of colored pencils, markers, and crayons to choose from. The owner soon after came over and dropped off our drinks when they were ready. She was very friendly and took some pictures of my mom coloring in action. The drinks were pretty good. They were refreshing and not overwhelmingly sweet. The crystal boba was the perfect texture and size. The inside is pretty cute and there were so many cute Alien drawings. I think its pretty cool that she displays everyone's art. Feeling a bit peckish, I decided to land at Boba Tea and Popcorn Chicken. The alien statues outside were calling my name, so I thought, "Why not?" My first thought upon entering was, "Wow, what a quirky, interactive spot!" They offer almond or oat milk substitute in their non-dairy boba milk teas, but be prepared to cough up a few extra bucks if u want to go that route. Service was quick and nice! I assume the owner of the tea shop served us, and she was extremely nice, but had a strong Asian accent, which made it slightly difficult to understand her, but we managed, and got our teas exactly as ordered with the help of her sweet cashier! Of note for my fellow lactose intolerant folks: the milk teas in the teas section are lactose free, while the lattes have organic milk in them. It's quaint and could probably only fit ~10 people inside. There are also only 8 parking spots in their lot. I am not sure if they are still offering BOGO as I was not offered it. I had the Avocado Yogurt with crystal boba ($6.99) at 100% level of sweetness because I like it sweet! The avocado yogurt smoothie is exactly as described. The avocado is mild but smooth, and tart with the yogurt. The crystal boba (maybe aloe vera boba?) adds texture, although I am not a boba fan. The boba-rista was very nice and checked in with me after to ensure the drink was sweet enough (even at 100% sweetness, it is not cloyingly sweet; which I think is good). I don't understand, I was there and never witnessed such behavior. I'm of a minority race and I've never been disrespected by the employees. Don't pull out the race card like that. I recommend getting your drinks at 50%. They sit in a stand-alone building on the NW corner. You might miss it if you blink but no worries.
