Tea Avenue is within Mekong Plaza and has entrances from the parking lot or within the plaza which can make it quite convenient when either rushing for a quick pick-up or taking a strolling pace. Their establishment is also welcoming with an open concept and an abundant number of tables and chairs. You can see exactly how they are making their products. They have a variety of teas, slushies and smoothies. You can also add an energy drink for a boost too. They also sell a few other dessert items on the other end. I got the Supernova Lemonade. I didn't ask but can only guess it's lemonade with lavender and slices of lemon. I also asked for lychee jelly to add a bit of sweetness. So yum!! What a perfect drink! Pay attention to their instructions as to what should and shouldn't be shook! Lol. read more

I came here after lunch and we ordered the kiwi green tea and grapefruit green tea. I like that you can alter the sugar level. I didn't do that, normal level is 80%. It was sweet so next time I'll do 50%. My sister's grapefruit tea was 30% and it seemed perfect for her. But great flavor and I love the chucks of kiwi. Refreshing read more

Very nice spot for tea and ice cream, but you definitely have to try the ice cream. It's the rolled ice cream and entertaining to watch them make it. We tried the taro and chocolate. Both were very good. The staff is very friendly and have lots of patience as you try to decide a flavor! read more

I can't buy happiness, but I absolutely can buy Milk Tea. Great thing there is the latter. From my list of bookmarked milk tea and boba shops in the valley, I finally checked out Tea Avenue, a cute and vibey milk tea spot at Mekong Plaza. This time, instead of my usual go-to flavor, Matcha, I decided to try their newest addition: the Red Bean Milk Tea. I have always enjoyed red beans in refreshing beverages. I enjoyed the creamy milk tea combined with the subtle sweetness of the red beans. Tea Avenue offers a variety of equally flavorful milk tea options. I will definitely try other menu options on my next visit. The prices are budget-friendly without compromising its taste. As a Yelper, I keenly observed not only to the taste but also to the service. Being a first-time customer, I like the friendly and welcoming service. Also, I appreciated the server's effort to ensure my cup was sealed properly to prevent any spills. Tea Avenue shares its space with an ice cream shop. Well, if you are not into drinking teas, you can opt to scooping some ice creams. read more

Usually this place is mobbed with people. Only two customers today and I was able to make my order immediately. I studied the menu and ordered the Sapphire Blue Raspberry Gemstone soda. It comes with 80% sugar. Staff asked if that was ok. I asked for less and he dropped it to 50%. It is a fizzy drink. It was perfect. It quenched my thirst; not too sweet. There are different sizes as well. I had a nice sit down in the empty store. Shared parking lot with WiFi. read more

I ordered a a honey milk tea with brown sugar gelatin boba-like things. (I don't remember the exact name of them). I typically prefer tapioca boba, which is what I was hoping to order, but they were out. I did not care for them, the texture was very strange and not similar to tapioca boba. The service was good - it was easy to order. My cup had a hole in it but thankfully I noticed before I left, and the guy working put it in a new cup. The vibe of the shop is cool, it's inside the Asian market in Mesa so it was fun to order then walk around the little mall. There weren't many people, so we got our order pretty quickly. read more

Recommend?: Yeah! Service: they were kind Ambience: this place is cute. Drink: yum! Recommended drinks: Thai coconut milk mango smoothie and mango lychee tea. Details: This place is located inside of Mekong. It is like two shop in one. They served boba and they also have boba. This was my first time trying this place. Right before I ordered, I saw a group just ordered the same drink which was a white yellow drink. I asked the cashier what is the most popular drink that people get and he said it was the Thai coconut milk mango smoothie drink, which was what the group before me ordered. Well that made an easy decision for me lol. I also ordered the mango lychee tea as well. Both at 75% sugar. It was yummy. I really like they do use coconut milk in the Thai coconut mango drink. And they added real lychee to the mango lychee drink. Overall, great experience. Would come back to try other things on the menu. read more

Lovely tea shop inside the scenic plaza. I enjoyed shopping around for jewelry and wandering around before finding tea avenue. Delighted at so many choices and I settled on lychee oolong tea with lychee pearls. I also chose 30% sweet instead of 80%. I'm drinking my tea now and it's quite delightful. I know you'll enjoy visiting tea avenue! read more

Been coming here for their house milk tea (I add cheese crème) for over 3 yrs now. Employees were always soooooo nice. I have twins that I always have to split the drink (yet more often than not, never finish). The employees are always so understanding and let us split without charging us like other places (next door!). So now I come because I'd their drinks and their generosity with splitting without charging. Another drink I recommend is the lavender milk tea. read more

I really ought to get a badge made that says, "Boba AuthoriTEA." Get it? Get it!?! Tea Avenue is inside of Roll Avenue. Having just had dinner at Mekong Palace, we were going to stop off at our usual boba place next door when half the group decided that they wanted ice cream. Not being a stick-in-the-mud, we decided to stay with the group and was pleasantly surprised to find that they turned one of their counters to a boba counter. Aw yis! A Ruby Red Strawberry and Strawberry Roselle Tea were ordered. We got our drinks at 30% sweetness and it was suuuuper sweet. I felt like I gained three cavities on that first sip alone. I can't imagine what 100% sweetness would be like! The Ruby Red Strawberry was okay but the Strawberry Roselle Tea was pretty good. They just need to work on their sugar levels. Not bad, Tea Avenue. I see you. read more

Just another boba shop The tea was very expensive. I got pea tea with lemon for $4.95. That didn't include any toppings. I usually make pea tea at home and was wonder if it'd taste different from another shop. The lemon taste in their drink overshadows any pea flower flavor (which is light). But what I was annoyed is the cost. I would expect something like this to cost $3 or less because of how effortless and cheap the making and supplies are. In fact, it took them a while to make this tea read more

They have both boba and rolled ice cream! We got the Oreo smoothie and the Thai tea rolled ice cream. The Oreo smoothie was weak in flavor, not enough Oreo smoothie mix. They added too much ice as well. The rolled ice cream was also weak in flavor. I've had the chocolate here and it was pretty good. Service was good. read more

Came on a weekday while eating tasty pot next door and wanted a tea drink. There's a lot of things on their menu - tea, milk tea, smoothies, blended drinks, I think even ice cream. This place really as it all. I ordered the honey jasmine tea which is a pretty basic drink. Kind of took awhile for it to be ready and they were decently busy. The drink was good. Good strong jasmine tea with a hint of honey. I didn't have any complaints. There's a lot of tables in there if you want to hang out. This place compared to the other boba spot in the same plaza is pretty good with more choices I think. Overall, I would come back! read more

Good boba place! At first, I was having hard time finding this place since there's no sign, but actually Tea Avenue is Ice cream Avenue. So, if you are not sure where this place is at, Ice cream Avenue is actually Tea Avenue! (Next to Tasty Pot) I tried Lychee Mango and House milk tea here, they are pretty good. Also you get to choose your own sweet level and ice level for your drink! They even have HK egg puff, but hmm... that was just ok to me. But drink is good :) read more

I saw this place as I was walking in Mekong Plaza and I thought I'd go give it a shot. I love the orange drink at Dayung so I thought I'd give their Ragin' Orange drink a try. I was a bit disappointed because I got 100% sweetness but the drink tasted like it was watered down. Their employees are all friendly though, and the place is pretty cute. I'd go back and try other drinks next time, and hopefully update my review depending on how my next drink is.. read more

I don't think a visit to Mesa is complete unless you get some tea. I might be one of the few who doesn't like the tapioca on boba tea so I go for very traditional flavors. They also have waffle ice creams and other interesting sweets that I would love to order next time I visit Mesa. read more

This was our second visit. I ordered the Taro Smoothie. It was very delicious! I was very impressed because I didn't think it would turn out as good as the Taro Smoothie I had from Sono Kitchen & Boba in Sedona. What's so great about Tea Avenue is their smoothies are cheaper than Sono Kitchen & Boba (which is $9 for their smoothie), but everything in Sedona is costly. So come to Tea Avenue, enjoy their drinks, the staffs are nice, and the service is really good. read more

I was very confused why this place sounded familiar, and it's exactly what you'd expect - it's just another offshoot of Roll Avenue, just further into the Mekong hallway. The menu's pretty solid - plenty of teas, milk teas, fruit teas and more. Found it odd the two times I was there boba was a taped out topping, but that's fine. If you're okay with grass jelly, aloe vera, or one of their several flavored jellies it's fine. I think it's better than anything else in Mekong. Maybe not the best in the area. They were super friendly and made my orders relatively quickly, it's just all my drinks were incredibly sweet the several times I visited. If 30% felt overly sweet, I shudder at the thought of diabetes-inducing 100%. read more

Super friendly staff. Clean environment from what I can tell. However, just an unbearably long wait time. Person I was with finished her grocery shopping list, proceeded to get a boba drink from other place in mekong Plaza, take her stuff to car, and came back to me. I still was waiting for my drink. Which was actually disappointing. My friend who ordered the same drink, was offered optional boba. Also offered/suggested coffee jelly. I was never even offered that while placing my order. Consistency is crucial for a business. Clearly it wasn't displayed today. I'll give them another chance next time sometime. But I will need quite some time to shake off this foul experience. read more

Drink was good, service not so much. Maybe stick to ordering ice cream! It was my first time here, all I wanted was a matcha drink. I read the name straight off the menu, the worker looked at me confused like I just said something crazy. Like huh, why are you confused? You work here, yet it's my first time ordering, why are you asking me questions??? Idk ur menu lmao ToT I'm trying to ask YOU for help. I didn't end up getting what I wanted, but like I said I just wanted matcha anything at that rate and to get the heck out of there. It tasted great 4.3/5! So I guess it works out. I would normally have been more specific but I was with friends and we had to go asap so I didn't bother. Also minus points because I've never seen a tea spot that doesn't have tapioca boba. I was really craving some brown sugar boba. My friend said they wanted to come here cause the bobarista was cute. I used to come to Mekong when I was little, and I wanted to go to the other boba shop I was more familiar with. I told my friends this but I guess I didn't sell them on the idea. I should have just ordered from the other place myself. Since I'm not from Mesa, I probably won't be back which is great for both me and the workers honestly. read more

When I went, there weren't a lot of other customers, which was nice. This meant that I could receive prompt service unlike at more busy places. There were two other customers who were sitting at one of the tables. The decoration in the store was cute. I liked the wishing wall and the wall that had the angel wings on it. Both of these walls are perfect for selfies and great when the store doesn't have too many patrons. The ambiance was also good, as the music wasn't too loud and the temperature of the store was just right. The cashier asked me what I would like to purchase, and I had to walk further into the store to get to the Tea Avenue section of the store. The cash register at the entrance closer to the street is for the ice cream section of the store. I usually order milk teas, but I decided to order the mango smoothie to see what it was like. I thought that it tasted good and fresh. I would recommend it for people who like fruit smoothies. I usually order milk tea, but didn't order one this time. I will have to go again at some point and try their milk tea. read more

You had me at Hokkaido! I recommend the 30% sugar content in the milk teas. Afraid to see what the 80 or 100 taste like! They have lunch cards available for your next visit. Careful because the cups came out a bit sticky during the making of. Plenty of open seating. Lastly, it looks like a combo type milk tea and ice cream roll shop.
