Holy MATCHA! Surprised there wasn't a longer line when we came!! 10/10 spot and will be coming back

    Christine D.

I've been here two times, and definitely won't be my last! Very satisfied with my drinks here everytime I come. I'm always looking for new matcha spots around the area, and I'm happy to report that Crafti has made it on my favorites list. I got the matcha cream, and the drink itself is very smooth, creamy, and the perfect amount of sweetness without it being overpowered. You can definitely taste the quality of the matcha, which is exactly what I look for in a drink. Highly recommend!

You already KNOW how much I LOVE BOBA!!! My love for it just got a little stronger, thanks to Crafti Tea & Mocktail!! I stopped in one a Monday night right after I landed at the airport. I needed a quick fix and was craving one of my faves: HOT Earl Grey Milk Tea with Boba!!!! If you haven't tried this, you need to! I need to put you on to this because gatekeeping is just plain mean! I also love this drink iced, but that evening, I was craving it hot and Crafti delivered. I took a little while to figure out what I wanted, but Malina was very patient and friendly with me. She answered my questions and even recommended some drinks. I also ordered their Matcha Honey Lavender (iced). I will have to make a return trip because I need to try the Matcha Mango and a bunch of others, lol. This place is so cute inside, adorned with capybaras in every corner. It's clean and inviting and makes you want to come back again and again. I know I will! Find Crafti in the Mekong Plaza across from the HMart shopping center in Mesa. This has become one of my favorite spots with just one visit. That says a lot!! What are you waiting for?! Get you some Crafti Tea & Mocktail TODAY!! Note: don't go on Tuesdays because they are closed! ;)

I've tried various drinks from this place before but nothing stood out that much. However, I recently tried their matcha and i'm a big fan! Very prominent matcha flavor and it's not grainy at all either. So yummy.

Ordered the pistachio matcha and it is good as always. Tried the double matcha for the first time and it is honestly my new favorite. Each matcha is around 9-10$ with non dairy milk, it is a treat when I don't feel like making matcha. It is the only matcha that just taste good imo for the price in AZ. The consistency has been the same each time that makes me always come back!

Fast and friendly service. We stopped by last night for some drinks and we had a good visit. I ordered the earl gray milk tea with boba and its got to be my new favorite drink. The inside was very cutely decorated and I loved the Capybara theme they have going on.

How have I gone this long without reviewing Crafti? Yikes, my bad. I've been coming here since they opened back in 2022, and I'll keep coming back. Their drinks are good, and they are spacious with plenty of seating. They recently ran a one-day special where they serve coffee. It was delicious and definitely something to look forward to if they bring it back again. With the weather being 100°F+ outside, cool off here with some tea. You won't regret it.

The cutest capybara-themed cafe I've been to! Has great natural lighting and tables to study at. There are also lots of photo opportunities, such as a full-length mirror and photo benches with Polaroids. The baristas were very patient and worked very hard to make each drink. It took a little bit of time to get our drinks, but it was well worth the wait. I ordered the matcha cloud latte with boba. I really liked the matcha flavor - I got 50% sweetness that really let the matcha flavor shine! I don't like it when the matcha is too sweet, but the boba balls also had great texture and were very soft and chewy. My boyfriend got the Earl Gray milk tea with boba, which was very good too. They really nailed the flavors. Definitely recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a cute atmosphere with great drink selection!

Hands down the best matcha and hojicha in AZ! I'm picky about my matcha, but this place exceeded my expectations. Their ceremonial matcha is mellow, balanced, and not too bitter. I've tried all their matcha drinks- Strawberry and Mango Matcha are my favorites for fruity flavors, and they also have Matcha Cloud, Double Matcha Cloud, and Matcha Pistachio. The hojicha is strong, nutty, and rich. It is definitely the best I've found in the area. Their milk teas and fruit teas are solid too, and the homemade jellies make it unique. The store is full of cute capybara merch, and the staff are super friendly. How can you say no to great drinks, adorable vibes, and friendly staff? TT I'll definitely be back!!

This place no menu, theres a menu on the counter where you ordered and its tape on glass windows next to register. I think theres a QR where you scan i think to get the menu, but they dont have much varities drink. I order the taro milk tea boba it taste so milky to much of it and taro is smoochy wasnt all that great, taro should b purple, the drink came out to be like a cream beige color. The 2nd drink I tried was the Caramel boba milk tea and it wasnt good as well because all I taste was the milk and it was the same color as the taro milk tea boba. It was disappointed because it wasnt good at all. Customer service was OK. Ambience its so plain no t.v and they have a couple of tables and chairs to sit. Overall I wouldnt be coming back here.

Such a convenient spot right off Dobson, this place has lots of fun drink options. I ordered the taro and I really liked how they have it blended as to not have taro chunks which aren't my favorite. The flavor was good and the service was quick and friendly! The signature pearls are better than the brown sugar pearls which has a gross texture.

    Trinny T.

The line for this place is short and the drinks were made adequately, not too slow but also not too fast. The matcha were made on site, whisked but I hate matcha so I didn't order that. The drinks I ordered were also good. The strawberry jellies were chewy but they didn't put a lot. The taro tea had taro chunks in them so it was pretty organic. Overall I will order from here again.

I've been going to Crafti for four years now, and they are one of the best shops in the valley. I love their selection of unique flavors. Their specialties are their Earl grey milk teas, seasonal beverage, and their sparkling refreshers. My personal favorite drink is a Strawberry Rose Earl Grey Tea with Cotton Foam and Rose Jelly. They recently changed owners and are more focused on matcha and craft milk drinks now, however they are still excellent. The baristas at Crafti are some of the nicest people I have ever been helped by. This would be a nice place to study; a good amount of seating, chill music, and visually a very cute space.

The walls were filled with different tea selections, tea accessories, and art; it was a tea lover's dream! The staff there were patient as I looked through all their different tea varieties and offered suggestions as they recognized that their vast array of teas could be overwhelming to sift through. I ordered their iced Berry Rhubarb tea, and it was delicious. I even picked up a few packets of prepackaged tea from the sale rack to take home with me. Where this shop excels is in offering so many different options. I will say if you wish to take some loose-leaf tea home, the prices are on the higher side, so be prepared. They do have minimum requirements of how much you need to purchase, which ultimately made me get some off the sale rack vs. buying fresh tea of varieties I really wanted to take home. If I find myself in the area again, I would swing by again for a cold bevy.

Reservations were easy to make online and were confirmed quickly but beware that your confirmation email might get filtered into your spam folder which is what happened to mine. Our table was ready and waiting for us. We had the afternoon tea for three which included a varied selection of finger sandwiches, sweet treats, and scones. Two pots of tea are included and we chose the pudding tea and the gingerbread tea. Both teas were delicious and the gingerbread tea was nice in that it's caffeine free. All the food selections were fresh and fantastic. I would venture to say that I liked the food selections even more than at the previous location! While this new spot isn't as lavish as the golf resort it was previously at, the interior is still charming. Service was very friendly and we were checked on as needed.

Dear Mark C., I…read morefound the Quirky Royal Tea Room on YELP, however I pray that the commumity won't risk their health by eating at your restaurant. I came to your so called Tea Room on Dec. 14, 2025, with two of my dear friends to celebrate a birthday. It started out with us having a terrible time just finding your location. There is absolutely no signage on your store front and its very apparent that you must be struggling, due to your choice of being in a very run down strip mall. You say on your Yelp site that your Tea Room is classy, however, what we walked into was not the case at all. I would say it's very "tacky ". And, what is very interesting is that most of the pictures on the Yelp app. are a misrepresentation of your Tea Room. It doesn't look anything like where we were expecting. Except, for the pictures with the pink walls. What a disappointment for my myself and my friends birthday celebration. The food appeard to be all store bought, even though you say you have a baker on site. That is really hard to believe, based on what we experienced. The tea wasn't even warm and and what else surprised me was that the napkins were paper and the water cups were plastic. Yet, here's the aweful part, we had to rush one of my friends to the hospital. Approximately half-way through our meal, one of my friends had to be rushed away due to a sudden and horrible stomach ache, severe pains, a complete loss of facial color, and she could no longer sit in her chair. All she wanted to do was to lay down. We almost called 911, not knowing what was happening. It was that bad. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, she was diagnosed by an emergency room doctor with a case of food poisoning. It was confirmed that she hadn't eaten anything so far that day, except the food items at the Tea Room. She ultimately had a stomach ache and cramps for almost a week, following this incident. Just a few days later, our birthday girl also went to the hospital ER with stomach cramps, and ultimately had to spend 3 days in the hospital herself. In a later conversation between the 3 of us, we recalled that two us had in fact eaten the same lunch meat sandwiches. I did not eat these sandwiches and never felt these ill symptoms. Once my friends felt better, we went to talk to yourself, since you were confirmed to be the manager in charge. We made you aware, Mark C., that we in fact had documentation from the ER doctor that our friend had food poisoning from her only meal that day. Upon presenting our situation with Mark C. in a very calm and polite manner, explaining to him our experience that particular day, we simply wanted him to refund our $130 spent for that meal that day. At this moment in time, she hadn't even mentioned the cost for the ER hospital visit. It was only our intention to recover the cost of the meal. Shortly after our initial meeting with Mark, he became very rude to us. He kept insisting that there is no way she could have received food poisoning from this restaurant, saying that it takes a full 24 hours for symptoms to occur. In doing some research, this is what I found: "Food poisoning can strike from as quickly as 30 minutes (like with Staphylococcus aureus toxins) to several days or even weeks later (like Listeria or Cyclospora), depending on the germ or toxin, with common bacteria like Salmonella or E. coli often causing symptoms within hours to a couple of days. Viruses like Norovirus usually appear within 12-48 hours". Shortly after, in the same conversation, Mark told us to take him to court, to which we were very shocked that a manager and business owner would respond to us in the manner. It was at this time that we suggested we may report him to the Board of Health and let them sort this out. We simply wanted our money back and then we would then leave without so much nonsense. There absolutely was no bargaining with you Mark C, or the big words you seem to like to throw around like extortion and blackmail. All over $130. Shame on this man!
