I was strolling through Old Town Scottsdale and was looking for a spot for a refreshing drink, and stumbled across Tea Time. This is such a cute spot, perfect for a meetup or tea party. The walls were filled with different tea selections, tea accessories, and art; it was a tea lover's dream! The staff there were patient as I looked through all their different tea varieties and offered suggestions as they recognized that their vast array of teas could be overwhelming to sift through. I ordered their iced Berry Rhubarb tea, and it was delicious. I even picked up a few packets of prepackaged tea from the sale rack to take home with me. Where this shop excels is in offering so many different options. I will say if you wish to take some loose-leaf tea home, the prices are on the higher side, so be prepared. They do have minimum requirements of how much you need to purchase, which ultimately made me get some off the sale rack vs. buying fresh tea of varieties I really wanted to take home. If I find myself in the area again, I would swing by again for a cold bevy.

I made a quick stop into Tea Time one day because I was craving boba. I wasn't paying attention when I Yelped boba shops, so I was a bit disappointed when I walked in only to discover that it's actually one of those high tea places. You know, the kind with those cute little sandwiches and clotted cream? Yeah, that. Now, I have been wanting to try a place like this since I never got to go when I was visiting the U.K. in November. One day I will actually sit down and enJOY what they have to offer. This time around though, I just ended up getting an iced tea. The lady suggested their Peach Apricot Black Tea, so I took her up on it. It wasn't really sweet, so I added a packet of Stevia. It was perfect and hit the spot on a hot afternoon in Scottsdale. This cute little shop also sells a lot of merch. You'll find all the cute things tea-related. They also sell special chocolates you can purchase individually. I believe they also sell some pastries if you're there early enough. Tea Time would be a great place to host a girls' day or a date with your mini! It's nicely decorated and the staff is super friendly. Ohhh, and as I checked out, the lady noticed my scrubs and asked if I work nearby. I said yes and she gave me a discount. How cool! I always appreciate a nice gesture. I will be back again sooner or later. Mom and pop shops such as this one will win me over time and time again. Can't wait to try their afternoon tea with the whole spread!!

Tea Time is a great spot to get a cup of tea while you are strolling thru old Scottsdale. The variety of teas and the recipes that are produced are really interesting and comforting. The old apothecary vibe with the teas housed in the card catalog shelving system is so old world vibe and makes the place quaint & cozy! Make sure to try the dark magicians or the golden milk for some tasty tea!!!

Tea Time in Old Town Scottsdale was such a lovely experience. They have a wide variety of herbs and teas to choose from, which made it easy to find something that felt right. The girls working there were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain different herbs and their benefits. I ended up with a custom blend that included lemon balm along with a few other herbs, and it was exactly what I needed. You can really tell they care about what they do and are thoughtful with their recommendations. The space feels calm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. If you are into herbal teas or want something personalized, this place is definitely worth visiting.

If you're a tea-drinker - or coffee or hot chocolate- head over to Tea Time in Old Scottsdale. The teas we tried were outstanding! We visited in early January and they still had their winter / holiday specials. I'm telling you, they had a tea that tasted like peppermint hot cocoa - amazing and delicious! They have other teas that are served like coffee, but of course tea that tastes like tea is the star of the show. If you want to try different flavors of tea or different types of tea leaves, you'll find it all at Tea Time with the entire wall behind the counter covered with a dizzying array of dozens of teas to choose from. The servers behind the counter are very helpful, pleasantly explaining everything and answering every question (I always grave a lot when there are so many awesome options!). The place itself is adorable decorated with tea cups filled with fresh flowers on each table. It's small and we took our teas to go, but you could sit and savor your selection and watch the people walk by. One thing I appreciated ... there were vegan / plant-based options for the milk to add to the tea. So nice! Highly recommended!

Quality, ingredient-focused tea at a reasonable price. The people here are also super nice! I loved the seasonal drinks here. Their shop is nice and cozy, well air-conditioned so a good place to relax during my lunch breaks in the summer.

Loved checking out this cute little tea house. First, you need to make reservations in advance to have the full experience, this is essentially a small shop that sells loose leaf tea but offers full service high tea. They outsource the food and have to plan in advance. When we arrived, our table was ready with the cutest personalized menus (loved this touch). We were given an extensive tea menu and our package was to pick 3 to share at the table (note: they only bring one pot at a time but if you don't finish the pot and are ready for your next tea, they'll pop the rest into a to-go cup). They also brought some samples of the teas for us to smell to help narrow down our decision. We went with 2 caffeine free (sangria and thin mint) and one caffeinated (apple crisp)- all were delicious. The food was ok- really hard to get GF where the bread isn't totally dry, but the scone was delicious (would love if they'd offer clotted cream + lemon preserves or something in the future!). The cute macarons were an adorable touch. The service was great, and I noticed on their website they offer themed teas- would love to try that in the future!

My cousin and I took our mom's and her daughter and a friend here for high tea. The place was absolutely charming, the food was delicious, and the choices of tea were wonderful. I can't say if I had a favorite thing, everything was spot on. Oh, and they also had hats you could borrow if you forgot to wear your tea party hat!

Adorable tea shop with a very large selection of loose tea to choose from. We stopped in to enjoy a cup of tea. The blueberry crumble is highly recommended. Caffeine free and taste delicious. I had the apple cinnamon coffee cake. I didn't care for it. I did not taste any cinnamon and to me it had an almond smell. Looks like they do Tea time where you have tea, finger sandwiches and desserts. So lovely! I would definitely like to try this next time around.

Service was amazing. I made a reservation for afternoon tea and got a call the day before so they could personalize the menus with our names. We never felt rushed to leave even though we stayed for a while. The $50 afternoon tea set comes with a great mix of savory and sweet finger foods as well as three whole pots of tea. Our server was super helpful when we were trying to decide which teas to get, she brought over the leaves for us to smell. She also packed the leftover tea to take home so that we didn't feel pressured to finish it all there. I'd say the food was average, nothing particular stood out too much but I did enjoy the pesto olive croissant. That was a unique flavor combination I've never tried before. Presentation was very cute though. For afternoon tea I didn't expect anything too crazy from the food though, I was looking forward to the experience more. The interior is cute, the wall lined with drawers of tea. There is such an extensive variety of different teas that I've never even heard of, like purple tea. This was the perfect experience to celebrate my friend's birthday, would definitely come here again for a special occasion.

This is for the store front that sells tea, and not for the dining experience. I'm in love with this place! I love all the selection of tea, from green tea, black tea to caffeine free. You can ask them to smell the ones you like. The flavors are really fun and unique! It is quite pricey though, it's about $30 for 100g. I got 3 different kinds but at the minimum of 50g. Then you can make any of the teas into a cold or hot tea drink. It was delicious. I love this place! Been drinking the teas I bought - prickly pear, green guava mango, and sangria sorbet . Delicious!!!

Is this more of a retail store where you buy tea or can you walk in and have afternoon high tea with all the sandwiches, scones, etc?

Both! TeaTime has an extensive tea collection available for retail or for ordering a cup to drink. TeaTime also offers Tea Services such as Tea Classes and Full-Service Tea Times, which include sandwiches, scones, and the works! Tea Services are…

So when I run low on my favorite spices I have to trek to this location. They have such an incredible selection of spices. I like their spice blends, many of which are salt-free so that you can control your sodium intake. And if you need salt, they probably have ten different varieties of that (pepper too!). I'm particularly enamored with their Krakow Nights (Polish spice blends) and their 33rd & Galena Chicken and Pork Rub. I like their spice blends fact that you can buy their spices in small jars or larger jars, and I recently discovered their little sampler packs, if you just want to experiment with new tastes. Of note is also their Arizona Dreaming salt free spice blends fact that is perfect for seasoning chicken fajita strips. I have quite an extensive array of Penzey's in my spice cabinet, to the point that it appears to be an obsession. But I can't tell you how many people I have introduced to Penzey's Spices. The Arizona Dreaming blend is my favorite one to give as hostess gifts or stocking stuffers. Now my friends all understand my addiction... and maybe even share it!
