It's autumn and we're back!!! When we first saw the shop we were on our way to dinner. We were super excited and decided to come back the next day. We noticed the signs that seemed to support progressive causes and felt this was a business we wanted to support. When we arrived at 12:10 on Sunday 8/23 the business had not yet opened. The door listed 12-5 as the business hours. We decided to grab lunch and come back. When we came back I loved it. The smell and vibes of the shop were pretty cool. I was deciding on a tea when a homeless man walked in asking very politely for water on this 109 degree day. The shop attendant said "no, we only have hot water." The homeless man said he would be fine with a cup of hot water. The shop keeper said no. Through this whole exchange the homeless man was very polite. I can't imagine being so thirsty you'd be good with hot water. My wife put her things back and I opted out of a cup of tea. For a business capitalizing on images of karma and equality it doesn't practice those values. read more

This little shop in Glendale serves excellent drinks. We were in the area for the Full Moon Lantern Fest last weekend and stopped in. My husband and I tried the Golden Moon Mylk, which was a special to coincide with the festival. It was delicious! It was sweet, but also had a nice spice to it.
