Went there with my friend for tray decoration, and it was such a pleasant class. The instructor was very nice and educational. She answered all of our curious questions and she was nice to let us practice on her tray first before starting to work on ours. We got a free delicious cup of coffee, and we sat outside, which was perfect in our beautiful winter weather. They give you the tools you need and murals if you choose to use that. They said it will take about 6 weeks before the trays are baked and ready for us to pick up. I can't wait!! I would love to come back more :) read more

We came for coffee, pastries and pottery. Super friendly staff. The coffee drinks were good but the pastries didn't taste fresh or flavorful (I'd rethink the vendor). The throwing class was awesome and seemingly affordable. Paloma was lovely and a great teacher. But the prices kept adding up and each piece needed an additional firing fee which seemed like it should have been included (or I could have been warned). The thing I was most bummed about was that they don't trim the pieces for you (or let you trim them). It feels a total waste of time, money and clay, to make a pot, bowl etc that's heavy and sharp at the base. Not entirely usable and leaves you bummed out. My daughter was so sad ver her finished product (she made as a gift to me). It just felt the experience wasn't complete. read more

Such a great find! Half coffee shop, half ceramic studio! Chill vibes abound! They have the classic espresso drink menu + teas, and will soon be introducing coffee flights, which look amazing. They also sell pastries and bubble waffles (both sweet AND savory!) The barista was super sweet and explained the menu as well as the ceramic studio concept (adults only classes and open studio hours as well). She was very pleasant and so patient as I pondered my choices. I ordered an iced americano w/SF coconut syrup and a S'mores cookie (warmed). Perfect combo for a mid-morning break. Lots of comfy seating as well as several small tables and chair for working. Also, lots of ceramic mugs, vases, plates, planters and candles for sale! Location is a bit hidden, but plenty of parking in the lot once you find them! Worth the drive! Will be back and looking forward to the coffee flight! read more

Nice and new concept in Scottsdale! The drink is delicious. Matcha is tasty and high quality. Cookie is better when it got warm. They asked if I wanted the cookie to be warmed up. I keep passing by this place whenever I go to the gym and finally decided to give it a try. It is super cute and they have pottery classes!! It seems like a lot of fun and will definitely have to return for that. In addition to the pottery, the coffee is phenomenal. I think it was very balanced and tasty. They make some of their own flavors and it definitely makes a difference so I can appreciate that. The girl working was very nice and helpful when helping me choose a flavor. I decided to pick up a book here as well since they had a few "Blind Date with a Book" options! They sell some cups, bowls, and some other miscellaneous pottery. Everything is so cute, I especially liked the Arizona cups. They offer pastries, waffles, bagel sandwiches, energy drinks and lots more in addition to their coffee! This is an awesome business. I'm in my fourth six week pottery class. I enjoy the encouraging atmosphere and my classmates. My instructor, Kasey is very supportive and helpful. If you want to explore your creative nature this is for you. The coffee is also excellent and the barista's are friendly and helpful. I like the sugar plum fairy energy drink best. What a fun time! We went to a pottery class to learn how to throw clay on a wheel. We were warmly greeted when we got there. Our instructor was amazing. She explained everything in detail. By the end of class we were able to make bowls, candlesticks, coffee cups and more. Such a great way to spend time together and learning something new. read more

My friend and I signed up for the 6 week pottery course for $275, that cost doesn't include clay or tools so you have to purchase them. They only offer 25 lbs for $75. Total with the tools we paid close to $400 EACH. We couldn't make a dent in that amount of clay, and we tried and tried. When we came in outside of class hours they forced us to pay $10 an hour. So add another $100 to the $400 we already paid. When I asked if we could take our clay the owner told me I couldn't use it anywhere in town but she would bag it if I wanted.. then when we came to take it later she told us it had been "recycled" and it was no longer ours. They would not let us glaze our final pieces. They knew we were trying to use up our clay before the "time limit" they gave us and we set out many items to be fired so we could glaze them in time, but they refused to fire them for weeks! The owner said if we wanted to glaze them we would have to purchase another $200 studio month. The owners daughter scolded us for not knowing their "rules" when no one communicated anything to us about them at any point. They are extraordinarily money hungry and their ideas and structure are difficult to understand. Their 6 week course is in fact only 5 classes- the 6th week is a "party". There is nowhere near enough time to use the entire amount of clay they force you to buy and then basically steal back from you. Not artist friendly at all. Unless you have endless $$ to throw away. Our instructor was very kind and sweet, super helpful and easy to work with.. but she had not been trained at all on the studio's policies and struggled to answer questions about the structure of it all. I hate to have to leave this review for a local business.. but I hope it helps the owners realize the way they make their patrons feel isn't at all appreciated or welcome. It was honestly a very uncomfortable environment, chaotic and confusing and endlessly frustrating. read more

ZERO STARS if I could. I came to get my stuff and it was gone the girl at the front desk had no idea about where my stuff went. There were others from the same exact date but ours was missing. I should have listened to the other reviews whose stuff went missing but I overlooked it for the positive reviews. It's really sad when you come here expecting your stuff to be safe and it's gone. If something went wrong they should the very least DO BETTER and call. I came here, took pics day of -- my stuff was for sure left behind and they didn't have the responsibility to care for it or the very least give a call in advance. Don't recommend this place for this reason you never know if you'll be the few unlucky to have your stuff go missing. Very unprofessional. read more

Potters Peak is nearby my home and I go there all the time to study as I am a collage student. Their seating is ideal whether you need a focused "desk" or a comfy couch, both with access to a power strip so I can charge my devices. I adore all the syrups they have on hand, and I'm a personal fan of their Oreo bubble waffle and prickly pear cold foam latte. I've never recivied poor service from the wonderful employees and enjoy looking at all the cool pottery and other trinkets around shop. Me and my best friend even bought a candle for our shared living space that gets a lot of attention from our friends when they see it. 10/10 adore read more

The coffee was great and we had a fun experience with a pottery class. Everyone was wonderful. It is a fun place. The one big negative is when you try to pick up the items you made. There seems to be no real process involved, no tracking, and no answers for where your items went. We went back twice in the weeks following the event, and still haven't seen two of our items.
