Whenever I'm in this area, this is my go-to spot for matcha. I love their seasonal specials and how they make their own syrups. For what they're doing, the prices are in line with what you'd expect. I like that they have a reward loyalty program. It's quite popular so there's often a line at peak times, but there's parking in the area and the line tends to move quickly. The indoor space is light and cute, but often busy. I usually prefer to go if I'm there on a weekend morning.
Pumpkin Chai was absolutely delicious as it was light and still provided a strong coffee taste. We also tried the apple pastry and it was good enough to get a second! The service was quick but beware this place gets packed. Seating was limited compared to the amount of people in there and the lines can get a little long. Overall a good experience but make sure someone stands in line while the other person saves you a seat.
Oh my goodness gracious! Best coffee ever. I got the matcha topped with banana top....... My mom got the berry cobbler and it was so delicious. I don't know which one I liked more. Definitely 10/10

This is my 3rd time visiting Light Heart in the last two years, and I stand firm on my review... The space is cute and minimalist (this is their OG location that was recently renovated!), and a good place to stop for sips with friends or to get some computer work done (which is what I've done!). There's plenty of wall plug ins for those looking to do work, like me, but also spaces curated for groups to sit and enjoy each other's company. I've had generally good service with the staff here - nothing bad to say! I've had more friendly experiences than the one on my most recent visit, but not a bad thing! I've gotten the same drink all three times I've come here - an iced vanilla oat milk matcha latte. It has consistently been the same, which is hard to find these days! I'd say if you're a matcha snob like me, you won't find this latte impressive, but you will still find it tasty! I'd give it a 7.8/10 - still a good drink, not a deep matcha taste, but the vanilla syrup is super - it is the main flavor of the drink in my opinion.
YUM I have seen this place on social media so much, so I had to stop by while visiting Arizona. The girls working here were so sweet and upbeat. The interior seems recently renovated and was a whole vibe. It definitely added to the experience. To drink we tried the banana latte and the berry cobbler matcha. I would get the berry cobbler matcha a million times over. I don't love a sweet drink, and this had the perfect balance. I got a medium but was wishing for a large after the first sip. I also got a breakfast burrito, which was just okay, but the salsa that came with it was super yum.
Stopped by Lightheart Coffee and tried the iced mocha latte and the blueberry cobbler drink. Both were really good. The mocha was smooth and not too sweet, which I liked. The blueberry cobbler was the highlight. You could def taste the berry and had a nice dessert vibe without being too heavy. Super unique. The location was super cute and aesthetically pleasing. Overall, solid drinks.
We stopped here for a matcha drink, espresso shot, lemonade and chocolate milk. The girls working at the coffee shop were sweet and helpful. The atmosphere was really cute and had a good vibe. It looks like there are individual beauty spaces being rented in the back for things like waxing, nails and other beauty services. I don't see anyone here for those but think it's such a great touch. Who wouldn't want to grab a delicious drink and treat while they wait or following a service. We didn't try any of the sweet treats but they looking AMAZING. The matcha drinks were delicious. Will be visiting again.

Ordered: 16oz Iced Banana Pancakes Latte (~$7): banana walls, salted real maple syrup, 2% milk, espresso, banana chip Aya's take: if you ever had banana pancakes and thought "I wish I could drink this", then the Iced Banana Pancakes Latte is for you! I got this with espresso but you can get it with matcha as well. The first sip is creamy & sweet from the banana & maple syrup while finish is smooth & deep from the espresso. It's a good blend of caffeine kick & sugar rush if that's your style. It was cozy, playful, and balanced. The interior is bright, modern, and minimalistic. It's super inviting and I like that they take the aesthetic of the cafe as seriously as the drinks!
Met with a friend here to try this place out & was quite happy with everything. Parking lot was a little packed but people were coming and going. Inside is a bit small but has lots of natural lighting & the ambience is nice and bright! The barista greeted us with a smile and we ordered our Log Cabin Espresso with oat milk + my friend asked the barista for her suggestion. Ended up with the Narnia with oat milk. Both of the drinks tasted delicious and had such a nice balance of sweetness and espresso flavor! My Log cabin was a nice festive drink. Drinks were made fairly quick and we snagged 2 high top seats by the window to sip our drinks. They do have another area that has open seating with tables, where we saw a few people sitting, chatting, or working on their laptops. Overall, a pleasant experience with great tasting coffee. Will definitely be back!

It's actually strange I've never written a review for this place because I am here pretty much every other day , either for coffee or matcha. I've been coming to light heart since covid days, when they were new to the valley and Shea location was the only one around.What I love most about this cafe is their quality ingredients , especially their ceremonial grade matcha. I honestly cant recommend this place enough if you're someone who loves good coffee or matcha, the ambiance is also cool and instagrammable. read more

Tried out this coffee shop while in town visiting. Very cute and chic interior, staff were attentive. Coffee was okay, cold foam tasted like heavy cream. It was like they had the essence of flavor but it didn't actually make it into the drink. Tried out burritos, they were somewhat dry, small, and sauce was an extra charge. Chia pudding was plain but an okay breakfast option! A good shop to stop by if in the area but not a shop that would have me traveling across the city. read more

Delicious coffee spot! We ordered the Nisu Matcha, which includes homemade vanilla syrup, raspberry walls, and cardamom - so yummy. I loved that the matcha flavor was strong. My boyfriend got the Sugar 'n Spice espresso which includes dark chocolate, honey, cayenne pepper, and cinnamon. It tastes so smooth and really good. We enjoyed both drinks. The inside of the coffee shop was super cute and aesthetic. Service was quick and efficient, even with a line. Definitely would come back and try their other drinks! read more
The most stunning coffee shop with equally as stunning coffees! Always 10/10 experience coming here. The expansion is so gorgeous and I'm always eyeing their vintage pieces, cannot wait to buy one! I am a big coffee and matcha person, so whenever I travel I always look for a good spot to try. I kept seeing Lighthearted all over social media and many people called it one of the best in Scottsdale, so I had to stop by. I ordered the banana pancake matcha. The matcha itself had a really nice grassy flavor and I enjoyed that part a lot. I will say I am probably biased because Houston has spoiled me when it comes to banana matcha. I am used to places that use fresh banana syrup or banana cold foam, so when I noticed they used bottled banana syrup it threw me off a little. That is just personal preference, not a complaint, and it is totally fine because the drink was still good. I honestly think I should have tried the classic matcha or a vanilla one to really judge it fairly. Overall I am glad I got to try it since it is so talked about. I would return and try something different next time. The matcha quality itself was good, I just think my taste buds are used to a different style back home. read more

Hidden coffee shop with modern clean appearance. The service was really good and my drink was made quickly. I got the Seasonal Apple Crumble and the coffee was good, but I couldn't taste the apple flavor really well. To the point that I had to look up their seasonal menu online to remember what I ordered so I could write this review. Apple is a more subtle flavor so I may have just picked a less flavored drink. I spent $8, on a large iced with oatmilk substitution. Although they have some seating inside, I wouldn't recommend coming here for a sit down experience. I came at 2:00 PM on a Wednesday and it was super busy and loud, no tables available and there was a line. I was barely able to find a place to stand while I waited for my drink. If you get social anxiety stay away. I would say it is worth checking out, but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

Good coffee, kind of prestigious. I got a wild berry late with brown sugar cold foam - delicious flavor and well made espresso. When I went up to the counter, I half expected to be greeted but wasn't, which is fine. Then I said a view words for ordering and she turned to her coworker and I think might've been training her but went on for a solid minute. Environment was nice but got a weird vibe from the people. Service here was QUICK even with a long line on a Saturday morning. The baristas are nice and there's plenty of seating. The coffee was decent, I'd come back for it but nothing special. Their ube flavor is a little off, not bad taste but not authentic. Haven't tried the matcha yet. read more
Light Heart Coffee has been on my "to try" list for a while. Finally went and now I'm sad I've waited so long! The seasonal menu was really unique and interesting. I tried the Kyoto and rabbit trail because I love Ube and carrot/carrot cake. My favorite things about Lightheart Coffee are the warm, lovely ladies that work there, they have housemade syrups, and they don't charge extra for non-dairy milk. Amazing. Unprecedented. I ordered the lattes half sweet and didn't taste enough flavor so I asked for a little extra syrup that then they were perfect! I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the seasonal menu. I think I'll come back every season :) read more

Such a cute little coffee shop! We visited from out of town and like many others we always enjoy finding good coffee. We loved it so much the first time that we came back the next two days - yes, three days in a row! I've seen comments about bad customer service but I had a good experience all three times we stopped by so if that was an issue, it has improved. I tried the berry cobbler drink with matcha and then again but with espresso. It's so good that I had to buy the monin puree they use to have it home! If I visit Arizona again, I'll definitely stop by. read more

12/17/2025 A friend told me about a secret menu item called "Princess Cake Matcha" - matcha with vanilla, almond, and raspberry, topped with almond cold foam. I tried to order it at the Gilbert location, but was told it's only available at the Scottsdale location on Shea. Fortunately, a couple of weeks later I was in the area and stopped here after brunch. It was a Wednesday around 10am. I was shocked at how busy it was, and most of the people there looked like college kids. Then I realized they were probably on winter break already. There were just a few people in line in front of me. I ordered the Princess Cake Matcha with almond milk (the default is whole milk). The space is pretty small, so it got pretty cramped in there with people waiting for their drinks while the line continued to grow. My drink was good - I like the combination of almond and raspberry, though the almond flavor was a little too strong, probably because of the added almond milk. I actually like the Nisu matcha more. Nisu is on the specials menu and has vanilla syrup, raspberry walls, and cardamom. Berry Cobbler matcha from the classics menu is my favorite drink from them so far. read more
I came across Light Heart on my social media and decided to make the trek to try on a day off (I live in West Valley, so it's about a 35 min drive). My husband had the berry cobbler with espresso (he rated 4/5) and I had the matcha 4th of july special (cherry and blueberry syrup), which I rate 5/5! I loved the variety of specials they had and that each one could be made with espresso OR matcha. I had such a hard time choosing, which is never an issue for me. Also tried a pastry with a base like an everything bagel and a cream cheese center with green chilis. SOOO good! read more

This place was really cute, and nice to stop by for a bit and hang out with your friends! It's a bit compact but also cozy. Our lattes were great! I got an oat milk latte with blackberry syrup, which has been my go to lately. The service here was great, we all got our drink orders fairly quickly - especially since there were a lot of folks coming in. read more

First impressions , busy , busy ! I will say the day I went to check this lil beauty was on a Friday and it was busy . I think it was due to the Pilates class next door . I did ask the cashier is it usually extremely busy on Fridays , she said it just depends on the day. Upon my arrival dispute the foot traffic the cashier was nice and greeted me with a kind hello . Light Heart had a very cute clean aesthetic very up to date ! Cute and trendy ! Definitely a place you'd go and post for your Instagram . Also great for meet ups and plenty of space do remote work . I unfortunately did not grab any of their pastries but I did grab a matcha latteWith two pumps vanilla oatmilk and strawberry puree ! I will come back and try their other drinks that I found interesting to try from their Instagram they mentioned . Overall though for me it was a quick visit I'd still recommend matcha and coffee lovers to stop by and try 10/10 recommend read more

You've probably come across light heart coffee on social media once or twice where they've popped up on your feed and you wondered why you haven't been. Well here is your sign! Their espresso machine was down today (boo) but I LOVE MATCHA and have had yet to find a place that will make me a returning customer. & I will be back to report how their coffee tastes. My friend and I ordered the go bananas and the berry cobbler. Both were soooo good. The banana one was amazing and I'm usually not a banana flavor fan. The berry cobbler was very similar to the very berry hibiscus refresher from Starbucks. Service was great - line was almost out the door but drinks came out in a timely manner. Ambiance is instagramable it's a vibe in there. There's seating for laptop work or to hangout. I cannot wait to return!! read more

This was my first visit to Light Heart Coffee, and I really enjoyed it. I tried the berry cobbler latte, and it was fantastic. I've had similar lattes in the past that were far too sweet, but this one struck the perfect balance, flavorful without being overwhelming. It was a genuinely enjoyable drink. My wife and I also shared a pastry that was so good, we finished it before I even thought to take a photo! The shop was packed when we arrived, but the staff kept the line moving quickly and efficiently. On top of that, the space itself was very stylish, thoughtfully designed with a great atmosphere that made the experience even better. read more

Stopped in a for a quick coffee on my way to run some errands.. The place is small, but nicely appointed with a decent size seating area. The menu covers all the basics plus some fun speciality drinks. I went from a very basic Americano. Sign says they just beans from Moxie (which I also happen to love). Coffee was smooth with low acid - a perfect fix. The service was fast - even though there was fairly long line. They had some baked goods, but I was not hungry some I can't comment the quality or the taste. That said, they did look good. N*joy! read more
I had seen their ads all over social media and knew when I was in the area I'd give them a try. Storefront is a cute corner spot, parking is jam packed so either come early or be prepared to search for an open spot. The shop itself has a bunch of beauty suites which is super cool, and the aesthetic of the shop is very chic and cute. Their seasonal drinks are awesome, my sister got the Tea Party espresso with chocolate syrup and said it was . I ordered the berry cobbler with espresso which is just gorgeous before mixing it all together. The flavor was impeccable and not overly sweet, I'd order it again and again! The shop had very limited seating due to a huge flux of people on laptops which was a bummer and finding the bathroom was a bit challenging since there weren't any signs and most of the adjacent doors were locked. read more
Love this place! The line can get kind of long,and I've waited a while for a drink here. The place also isn't too big inside, but I always seem to be able to find a table to get my laptop/notebook all set up. The drinks are great, the workers are friendly, everyone here always seems to be in a good mood, and it just feels light. I've gotten a couple things from here, but I typically just try whatever special they have and add a cold foam. Can't go wrong! read more
I love discovering small unique coffee shops and this one was a delightful find! I like checking out small coffee houses and have been to a number of tiny ones within salon suites. Originally this one started as an eyelash business three years ago, they opened their spaces to other small businesses and transformed the entrance into an adorable beverage bar. Just down the halls you will find services such as lashes, massages, nail and more under one roof. Jewelry, greeting cards, jars of artisan honey and coffee beans adorn the front room giving a boutique feel. I selected their "that's nuts" espresso beverage from the spring menu. This 16 oz iced drink $7 is very good. Not overly sweet and not overly strong. In fact, I would prefer a stronger espresso taste but the drink was well balanced between the salt, dark chocolate and pistachio. The service is friendly and prompt once I place my order. This must be a popular place because almost every table was occupied around 11:00 am today. Customers discussing business or chatting with friends filled the air with a warm and pleasant vibe. There are a couple of tables outside so you can bring your furry friend if desired! I'd like to visit in the future for some self care and try their "cherry on top" espresso drink! read more
