Came by today, and was shocked to see they open at 11 on Sunday... it's a coffee shop what kind of coffee shop is open at 11? Anyway I stand in like 20 minutes with the hoard of people , only to be told they dont serve food on the weekend... what!? I'm feeling conflicted after visiting Light Heart Coffee's Market Street location in North Scottsdale. After having such a nice experience at the Gilbert shop, I was really excited to try this one. Unfortunately, the welcome here felt cold and unfriendly, and I was left feeling more like a bother than a customer. Based on the service alone, I'd honestly give it 2 stars. That said, the drinks and food were definitely the highlight. My latte was excellent -- smooth, rich, and well made and had a pretty heart design. My friend really enjoyed her iced berry cobbler drink. I also had a chocolate chip cookie that was chewy, ooey-gooey, and absolutely delicious. I'd come back for the quality of the coffee and treats, but next time I'll probably stick to the Gilbert location where the atmosphere felt much more welcoming. read more

02/01/2026 I've now been to all three Light Heart locations! Never thought I'd drive all the way out to DC Ranch, but I was already going to be in north Scottsdale, so I might as well drive a little further to try their collab drink with Pinch (a medical skincare company), available through February 16th. I didn't make any changes to the drink, got it with the default whole milk. Unfortunately, the Cherry Almond Matcha was a miss for me. It tasted very artificial. Keep in mind that on Sundays, all locations don't open until 11AM, so expect there to be a long line even before they open. I got there at 10:52AM, and there were already about 15 or so people in line. The good thing is the line to order and to pick up your drink moved rather quickly. The space is relatively small with a simple and classy aesthetic. It's located in the corner of a shopping plaza next to Safeway and other businesses and restaurants. The parking lot was full, and the layout of the plaza seemed really cramped. I'm still glad I came out to try the drink, otherwise I'd keep wondering and feel like I was missing out! read more

Super cute coffee spot! I was looking for a place to get some work done and my mom recommended Light Heart in DC ranch. The interior is so beautiful, light and airy just like the name! The staff working was just as sweet and suggested the cobbler latte, one of their best sellers. The latte is sweetened with house made cobbler sauce that is absolutely delicious. I got it with coffee, but definitely want to go back and try it with matcha! The berry flavors compliment the espresso so nicely. It was a great drink! I came back a few days later and tried an iced vanilla latte with cold foam (my go-to) and it was sooo good. the vanilla is not to sweet - just the perfect amount! This place is a winner! I get why so many of my friends come here regularly. This was my first time in, and I'll definitely be back! The interior design is such a vibe, though seating is limited. I got one of their most popular drinks, the berry cobbler latte. It tasted exactly like a blueberry muffin. It was a bit sweet for me, so I'd probably get it half sweet next time. That said, I'd probably try other flavors as blueberry isn't my favorite. The latte was really creamy though, and consistency is everything for me when it comes to coffee drinks. 4.5 stars Tried out the Light Heart Coffee Shop for the first time. It was a cute minimalistic coffee shop. I ordered the North Shore and it was a nice subtle peppermint vanilla latte, I think the peppermint however would go better with a mocha. It was still good. Super cute location with a cute aesteitc. We stopped by on Saturday and there were several people there. The baristas quickly greeted us as we walked in and they were ready to take our orders. We all ordered off the seasonal fall menu and ordered: One iced banana pancake latte One iced chocolate muffin chai One iced pecan pie latte I ordered the pancake latte and it was delicious. It wasn't too strong and not too sweet. I could faintly taste the maple pancake flavoring which was good. My niece enjoyed her chocolate chip muffin chai and said she would order it again. My sister ordered the pecan pie latte and she only wished she could taste the pecan more. Service was great, drinks were made quick, and staff was friendly. The owners of this coffee shop are super sweet and super cute their little baby Clark is so adorable and going to be a great barista I just know it I love their variety of drinks and how they change it up each season with unique combinations and flavorful beautiful drinks. Always rave about this place and tell everyone it's my favorite coffee shop in the valley. They put one in my neighborhood which was a dream come true. The breakfast burrito was great and good potion size. The coffees are great, they layer their lattes when they make them so they look very appealing. We were helped quickly and the employees were very kind and kept calm even when they were busy. Allowing for a very inviting and calm atmosphere. As someone that lives in the area. I think this place attracted a lot of people from nearby/nearby towns because of the aesthetic. This coffee shop however, is probably the best one in North Scottsdale. The owners are very nice, but I think there's a lot of improvement needed. Consistency is key when finding a perfect coffee shop. I have been here frequently because it's so close to me and each time my latte tasted different. Be prepared if coming around a holiday. I don't get all the rave reviews. Not well setup with the food menu and specialty drinks only available to view once at the register, so you end up having long wait times in line while people figure out their order at the register. Sugar and creamer are basic and over on a tiny stand near the bathroom (gross) and you have to cut through the line with your drink to get to it. Hardly any tables inside which isn't great somewhere that is 100 degrees 7 months out of the year. The decor looks like a bathroom from 1989. What am I missing that everyone else loves? Oh and the coffee wasn't anything special. read more

The staff was so friendly and everyone smiled at us and greeted us when we went in. Limited seating inside but we went on a Friday so that could explain why it was full. After chatting with our friend I got an iced Nisu (I think that's what it's called) latte to go bc I wanted to try some of their fun lattes. Love the new location! I used to work near the Scottsdale and shea location so I grew attached, glad to have one slightly closer to me now! This is where mirasol (?) cafe used to be, which I also enjoyed, but glad to see a great spot taking it over. It is clean and very aesthetically pleasing in here. I did really want to try the banana one but was sad to see they were out of banana, I'll have to get it another time. I got the berry cobbler instead as a latte (you can get drinks as a matcha or with espresso). It was ready pretty fast, even as there was a new staff member being trained they were still on top of things! The latte had berry and brown sugar flavors, I got mine with macadamia milk. It was a beautiful latte and looked as good as it tasted! And the location is right by Safeway so I got some errands done while being able to sip my yummy latte!
