The service was young bright and attentive! Now while we did go on a Sunday it was very very busy, and there was a line to get in, but it moved smoothly and in no time we had our table. They also sell many baked goods at the front desk that we had to snag some before sitting! We chose to sit outside in this very cute outdoor area, plenty of shade and very nice for conversation. My neighbors have been telling me about this place for an awhile. I checked the menu and there were very , very limited gluten free options ( basically salads) but I love trying out new coffee places. I would definitely give this place 5 stars for ambience. It totally reminds me of Lisa Vanderpump's restaurants. The attention to detail was on point. I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk and asked if the matcha was gluten free and the server seemed a little annoyed and handed me the bag of matcha. Little hidden place and in the weekend the order line can be very long, so plan ahead to come earlier if you are in a big group. I loved the granola bowl with açaí and peanut butter was the best. Overall a delicious and positive experience! It took some getting used to their format, a very long line and then ordering at the counter. They we're trying to make the line move faster so someone came to ring us up before we got to the register which threw us a bit because we weren't ready, and he didn't quite get all of the details of our order right, but it all worked out in the end. I don't hand out 5 stars lightly. Today was my first time visiting. Decided to treat myself after hiking Tom's Thumb. The line was long...but hey it's Saturday brunch and that is to be expected so I got in the queue and studied the menu. And then I saw it...an empty bar. Like a siren calling me. Two separate outdoor areas and a decently sized indoor area. Ordering takes place at the counter, and then you're given a number. Once you have a number you can find a table to sit at. I don't think they allow people to save seats unless they've ordered. There were a lot of choices on the menu including breakfast food, salads, sandwiches and more. We sat outside on the shaded courtyard side between 2 heat lamps which my Mom appreciated while I appreciated my "Woke up in Mexico" espresso martini. We ordered the veggie wrap but on a croissant instead as my mom has trouble chewing through certain bread type things. They were accommodating even during a busy lunch. I want to say that I hate giving up such an awesome little diamond in the rough (although the area is very nice) Hidden away is a quaint and well styled little bakery/coffee shop. The walkways are lined with their striped canopies. All around a little waterscape. As you walk in, all of their pastries are set out on display and there's a cool little bar that sits off in the corner. This place is wall-to-wall Instagramable, and the staff attire matches! I popped in for a quick tea and pastry, and immediately scheduled two future brunches so I can go back and try more.
