This place was a TREAT! It was a beautiful hidden garden location with so much to see, however wasn't too much with all of the patrons, etc. We didn't like that we had no waitstaff, had to order off of a table QR code, had to get water from at the counter, etc., however, the food was AMAZING! The margarita flight was great, and the food was soooo good! All in all, it was a great experience!
My first time visiting this place in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. It has a great urban vibe with both inside and patio seating options, and ample street parking nearby. I had a tasty toasted bagel and cream cheese and a Diet Coke. Being more of a coffee spot, they only offer sodas by the can.
Schmooze is a hidden gem! Its a lovely garden oasis right in the middle of the Old Town Scottsdale. The birds are chirping and literally run things...lol. Thankfully they are not bravw enough to hop on tables outside while you eat. The outdoor and indoor seating are equally nice but if you want to get work done finding an outlet can be a challenge so be strategic to eye the table that is close to one. Each time we went, we enjoyed something yummy. The grilled salmon with salad and fries was well portioned, fresh, and tasty. On another occasion, I had the Avocado Toast with smoked salmon and a vanilla latte with a shot of hazelnut. My companion had the bagel and creme cheese with a side of fries. The whole QR code scanning for your meal is cool. Its not too impersonal to me. Once you put in the order, the wait staff are generally helpful and friendly when they come with your order. I wish the place would stay open later then 3 but understand they start out early at 7.
Maybe one of my favorite things we had in the trip to Arizona. Got it in a rush and it hit the spot! Amazing breakfast burrito enough for two.
Stopped in after our flight in. We were going to try a different place but it didn't have indoor seating. Glad we did. Avocado toast was great and the pistachio latte and it was delish. The outdoor area is beautiful and worth it. A must-stop!
Ambiance hits! The vibes are immaculate with the towering trees outside and water fountain flowing. Each table comes with a QR code to scan to order your food. Seating is first come, first serve and you seat yourself. Once ordered they know what table you're at. They encourage you stay no more than 90 min as they do get busy and this way other people can sit and enjoy. There's seating inside and out. Tons of options on their menu. The food is pretty good and at a reasonable price. The coffee is also delicious. I saw everyone drinking one so I had to try the Irish bomb. Once you're done, you leave your plates. Servers were on top of everything, drinks, cleaning tables, and providing all your needs. Very cute spot and would absolutely visit again!
Came by for lunch and you work on my book for a few hours. The salmon salad is fantastic first bite in! Highly recommend and grateful for booths and plugs inside!

You have two options: seat yourself, scan a QR code and order, or go up to the bar, order and then seat yourself. The open seating makes it easy for you to pick inside or their nice patio. Today we opted for inside because it's so chilly out but there were plenty of folks on the patio. I got the traditional breakfast and my husband got to e breaking bad burrito. It's pretty hard to screw up a traditional breakfast so I wasn't counting on something epic but it was good- especially the potatoes. Yum! Our food hit our table maybe 5 minutes after ordering- they're working quickly! Will definitely be back!
My friend and I stumbled upon Smooze as we were wandering Old Town Scottsdale on a Sunday afternoon and hungry for lunch. As soon as we walked up to what appeared to be a hidden garden filled restaurant, we were immediately curious to explore what this restaurant was about. The pato was covered with gorgeous flowers, gorgeous tiles and a fountain-we were sold. At this place you seat yourself and order from the counter. They had such a good variety of food options without the menu feeling overwhelming. We order the burger, Asian bowl and cocktail flights. The Asian bowl is a 10/10, there was so much flavor and portioning was generous for the quality and price. I really loved that they offered a 3 drink cocktail flight for $22, because I wanted to try all of their drinks. We tried the strawberry lemonade, Amalfi Coast, and Fruits of Your Labor (our absolute favorite). This place was clean, the aesthetic was perfect and the staff was kind. Can't wait to come back!

I stopped by on Friday Morning with the girls for our staycation and this place was yummy! We all never have been at Schmooze before and this place was definitely good! I'll definitely be back for sure. The chocolate croissant was so good. The iced Lattes are also so good! The chocolate chip cookie and chocolate muffin also super good! I got the breakfast burrito and oh my goodness! Heaven!!! It was amazing. Everyone loved what they ordered. The vibe in here is also amazing! Our server was attentive and so sweet. If you have not tried schmooze, definitely give it a shot! It was sooo good! I also got a side of multigrain toast with jam and their raspberry jam is sooooo yummy! Everything hit the spot! The outside patio is super cute as well. Very green and has a water area and there was birds all around it, it was super cute.
Everything was so good. The people were incredibly nice! Perfect atmosphere to do homework, any kind of work online--really. I came to journal and read my bible for a bit. They do have a 90-minute rule because they're so busy, but it's such a great little place. The music is nice. So much nature! It feels really ethereal or European. 100% recommended.

I was in the area and thought I'd try this place for brunch. Located in the heart of Old-town Scottsdale, parking is on the street, unless you find a garage and walk. I was lucky and found a spot right across the street. I really appreciated the sign out front that explained how to order. Schmooze has a nice outdoor seating area with a fountain&lots of trees, almost like a forest in the middle of the city (complete with birds, always looking out for the scraps) There is also indoor/bar area seating and I think they do dinner/ drinks later in the day. I chose to order at the counter and decided on a tiramisu iced latte, half sweet and the traditional avocado toast with an over-easy egg on top. Everything was good! The latte tasted great and the egg was perfectly runny. There were a lot of yummy looking things on their menu, including the breakfast burrito (which was also one of their more popular items) so I'm sure I'll be back to try that. read more

Food is amazing, service is quick, and the courtyard is adorable. They have a great coffee list with signature lattes but the execution on the coffee fell short - my hot latte was cold and the milk wasn't foamed. Hopefully, that was just a new barista having an off day though. I did the ham breakfast sandwich and my friend did the breakfast burrito. Breakfast burrito was heavy on the potatoes which was fine with her but not my jam. The breakfast sandwich was perfect - I devoured it! I saw others drinking little mimosa flights that looked delicious. Next time, I want to try the chilaquiles! read more

A fun place to drop in, even in the heat of summer the outside patio is enjoyable early. Pricey but decent given the location ambience a decent place to stop for a morning or brunch or beers in the evening. read more
Schmooze has been on my list for a while and I finally got the chance to sit on their beautiful patio. I liked that you seat yourself and then order using a QR code on your phone. I ordered two iced lattes and two croissants at 11:13 and they were at our table at 11:15 - talk about fast! The lattes and croissants were good but the espresso tasted a tad bit burnt but it might've just been an off batch. I really enjoyed the ambiance on the patio but they were playing some strange music for a casual weekday morning. read more
I went to Schmooze on Sunday to celebrate my friend's birthday and it was delicious! The servers was so kind and helpful for us to help make my friend'a birthday memorable. The Bloody Mary was so tasty. I love a good tomatoey bloody and it was perfect. My friend said her spicy one could've bit a bit spicer, but I liked my normal one just fine. I also enjoyed my breakfast sandwich which was a great price. We split a side of potatoes too. If you're look for a cute outdoor brunch spot, I highly recommend this one in old town. Once it cools off, this place will be perfect. read more
Thanks to an abundance of greenery, @schmooze is almost camouflaged from view, but also arguably the best patio in Old Town. Aside from the patio inside the restaurant, it is a nice retreat from the heat, and it's an open view of the kitchen. One end of the restaurant is a unique artsy cocktail bar. They are open daily for breakfast and lunch. The morning menu offers omelets, avo toast, and sandwiches, while the lunch menu options include sandwiches, salads, and burgers. My chicken foccacia was filling and refreshing with great taste thanks to juicy chicken and pesto. I enjoyed lunch on the patio on a Wednesday afternoon. I sat at the bar style seating reading under the pergola by their pond/fountain and surrounded by plants. What a beautiful afternoon in Old Town Scottsdale. read more

A wonderful hidden gem with the best patio in Arizona! My coworkers and I love to grab coffee and breakfast here before our shifts, and sit outside with our dogs on the beautiful patio. I love all the lush greenery and real gas lamps-- it feels like you're in Europe! The coffee is always excellent, and I always enjoy my food too-- I recently tried their Tuesday lunch special for the first time, which included a large chicken caesar salad, french fries, and a glass of wine for only $22! The staff are always friendly and efficient. It's a great place to meet up with friends for a drink, or bring your laptop to sit and work for a while. My only complaint is that I wish they were open later-- they close at 3pm every day, but I could sit and enjoy the ambiance all evening! read more
We came to Schmooze for breakfast as a 12 person bachelorette party and sat on the patio! The place is adorable, and has lots of misters and fans for the summer heat. The place is filled with beautiful greenery - feels like a secret garden! This is a great spot for groups because you order individually off your phone, then employees run your orders out to you. Made our lives easy as a bachelorette party, and things came out fast! Just be aware everything won't come out together, so you may have to play a bit of a waiting game at the end. I had the Iced Peach tea and Caprese Avocado Toast - both were really delicious! The toast was large and filling, so perfect to fuel the rest of our day. Highly recommend adding on the breakfast potatoes - they're delicious and easily poppable! read more

Everything is ordered via QR code or walking up to the counter ordering and grabbing a number. Is great on a nice day, fun atmosphere, good for bach parties or larger groups. Food wise the cocktails are STRONG got the cocktail flight of 3 which i liked being able to try but man were they strong and larger than i expected. Came here for breakfast and upon arrival I was impressed by the decor and vibes the patio and inside offered. It was a pretty cool location. My partner and I stuck to our usual orders for breakfast(we pretty much get the same thing at most breakfast places now because they provide a good comparison between each. I got a breakfast burrito and she got the avocado toast. We also got two lattes. Starting with the lattes, I got some fancy mushroom latte and she got just a regular latte. Neither was exceptional in any way, the flavors actually ended being pretty boring in both. Hers was expected, but I was hoping the specialty latte I got would be more exciting. This level of okay flavors carried over to the food as well. Neither the breakfast burrito or the avocado toast were bad, they just didn't have any over the top flavor that would have us coming back here regularly. Oh and the side of potatoes we got could have been crispier(I'm pretty critical of breakfast potatoes.) Still, if you live nearby it will get the job done. read more

This local gem has amazing food and a beautiful patio. The cocktails are always fresh and delicious, and the food is good too! The restaurant is a seat yourself, order off the menu cafe feel- which is perfect if you want a laid back time with your friends or family. The only downside is that the food rarely arrives at the table together. If you know that going in though, it definitely is not an issue! My favorite thing to order here is the salmon salad, but I also love their BLT. Their breakfast burrito is also sure to be a hit. read more
i had a pretty good experience here. it's a very pretty area, and i enjoyed sitting outside eating my food. there's lots of seating and you order and pay through the qr code so the service was very quick and simple. i got the chicken pesto sandwich which was good, but i wish the mozzarella was melted. i would recommend coming here for brunch and walking around the area. read more

Love the idea of this place! Is there a cost to use any of the shared workspaces or meeting rooms? I work from home for a corporation and would love to drop by here on occasion to drink coffee, work and network.
No cost to using the common spaces but there is a fee to rent private space or meeting rooms!
This place doesn't appear to have a website, so can someone tell me what it is exactly? Is it just a place that encourages you to hang out and work? What's the deal with the offices? Are they available to the public? Can you reserve them?
