It's been a while since I've come here. I used to get the chocolate sea salt cookie many weekends. This time I didn't get it and regret not getting it for old time sake but k did get gelato. For 5 people we got dark chocolate, strawberry, mango chile, summer berry and champagne (which you must be 21 to get this). The champagne gelato was kind of sticky and not a good consistency. Maybe better to get champagne on its own dark chocolate is a safe bet. The place is always busy and always have a lot of fun items to shop for such as the Anti-Granny hand lotion, Baggu varieties, lot of cute markers and pens and notebooks, charms, squishies, clothing, and even flowers. Small tables are along the edge of the front store inside and outside.
This is such an awesome grab & go market, but we got super lucky with parking. Usually there is none! I came here with a friend for a post workout snack & drink, and we loved it. The market had everything from trinkets, ceramics, to salads, drinks and pizza next door. We ordered the avo toast, matcha latte with house made oat milk, and the orange iced tea. Everything was seriously delicious. The avo toast was made with herbed goat cheese and was the perfect snack. The matcha latte was super matcha forward (rather than milk) which i prefer. They definitely use high quality matcha here.
$78 for two sandwiches, bakery and coffee with tip. Staff is rude saying I was in wrong line and get back in line original line again. But I was told to go to this register by staff. She said ahhh ok. Wow. Prices gone up here--must be the tariffs. I see why there are more open tables inside and outside. Food quality is still good. Except for the "Old Timer" dessert aka Hostess Cupcake. The plastic forks and knives could not even break into it. Need a hatchet. Pass on that one. I will stick to their other real restaurant The Chelsea. For some reason it appears to be the place now for kids.
I don't know if this makes any sense, but La Grande Orange was probably one of the most comfortable sandwich experiences I've ever had. Is it a grocery store? Is it a deli? Is it a wifi working spot? Oh heck, it's all the things! Maybe it was because everyone seemed so helpful and friendly the minute I walked in, that my cynical Boston disposition just wasn't used to it. But I liked it! I wish I'd been more hungry, for no other reason other than to hang out longer that I needed to. The stacked turkey came highly recommended by several staff members, and while I'm actually kind of sick of turkey, decided to try it anyway. Glad I did. Clearly, I've been doing something wrong at home, because whatever they served here, maybe it was the mustard with havarti, it was delish. I tried a seasonal creamsicle matcha, which was the perfect match to a perfect sandwich. I'm new to Arizona, and I'm glad I found a go-to place to be a regular at.

Parking lot is very small, I came around 10am on a Wednesday and I was able to snag a parking spot but when I left a little bit later, it was hectic as people kept driving in but there were no open spots. Once inside, it was all decorated festive for the holiday season. They have so SO much to look at from souvenirs, gifts, candles, slippers, ready to grab food, wine, etc. It is extremely small and tight inside the store though. Very hard to walk around and look around, as people are also waiting in lines to order food/pastries from one side, and then coffee from the other side. The people this place attracts, are also quite rude and have no manners which wasn't the best. All of the employees I interacted with were very nice and helpful. The checkout for the souvenirs is in the wine section, which was nice but still cramped. Felt very overstimulated the entire time. Bought a bunch of items for Christmas gifts though. Decided to try a coffee before I left and the barista was pleasant. They were out of their 'sugar cookie' latte so I ordered the 'peppermint bark' latte with oat milk and unfortunately for me, it tasted horrible. Not sure if it was how it's made, the syrup, or the in house made nut milk. It didn't have much flavor and tasted very bitter and unpleasant. Overall, cute idea but definitely needs to be moved into a bigger store/spot. Also, needs better coffee. Would only come back maybe once a year.
Such a cute little store, it is a little pricey BUT all the ingredients are fresh. I also love how they always have the cutest souvenirs & trinkets. Whenever I'm here I always pick up something small. I haven't had a chance to try their pizza but I will be back! I appreciate how everyone is so friendly, i will say though if you enjoy pretty strong coffee, or possibly just consume too much caffeine (like me) I wouldn't recommend getting a coffee here. I ordered an iced vanilla latte & it tasted off, the syrup left a lingering after taste
Nestled in such a cute neighborhood, LGO is the perfect place for a casual dinner or lunch followed by a sweet scoop of gelato for dessert! It's a decent happy hour but I was mainly surprised that we got to step away from the table after dinner to taste the gelato before making a decision, what a wonderful thing for an indecisive person like me. Our waitress did an excellent job at checking in on us and giving us recommendations. The artichoke was so delicious, and we must have made it look good because the table next to us decided to order it as well! Only down side was parking was a bit sparse as they share the lot w postinos, but after a couple circles around the lot, we were able to find a spot. We will be back soon!
WOW! SO much going on! This is a pizza/sandwich/salad/dessert/bakery/coffee/wine/alcoholic beverage/fashion/novelty spot! The decor is just incredible the way it's set up. The bathrooms are clean and cool. The staff is so attentive and nice The stuff they offer to eat, drink, and buy is out of control! I went here for a lunch meeting with my partner and our vendor and the place is just so cool. Make a trip here to check it out but if you want pizza and wings (which I'm told are very good) don't go before 4pm during the week but on friday, Saturday, Sunday, and maybe Thursday, they fire up the ovens at 11am
Love this place so much! I just wish they would open more locations! Their kale salad is amazing. Best red velvet cake ever! My all time fav is their sea salt chocolate chip cookies!
Such a Phoenix staple! This place holds so much nostalgia for me as I grew up coming here with my dad after hiking Camelback, a tradition I carry on to this day. I feel like you can't go wrong with any of the menu items here, but this time I opted for the open face chicken salad sandwich -- so delicious! And you can't come here and not try the famous salted chocolate chip cookie!
This place has it all. Literally! If you are looking for a cafe style place that has a lot of variation in food options, baked goods, and drinks. That also has a great selection of wines and picnic basket staples. That also has some rather cute shopping options of gifts for others (or yourself). This is the place!!! There is a refrigerator section that allows you to grab food to go. The same food you can order at the counter to have made fresh and eat there. I had the tuna sandwich for lunch then grabbed the Thai chicken salad to have for dinner later. The portions are large. Their fun creations of what sounds like typical you can make at home food make this place extra special. The counter staff were patient for us first time visitors and the super sweet girl bussing tables was just that, super sweet! This will be a heavy rotation when I'm in the Phoenix area.

However the music is *loud*- we're talking out to the club loud, so if you're bringing sleepy kiddos keep that in mind! I got the Thai chicken salad- I'd give it a 5/10. All of their salads are prepackaged. The salad was fine, nothing special. I particularly did not enjoy the dressing :/ it was pretty much just peanut oil with some spices. All in all an oily and slightly flavorless salad. Maybe 5/10 is generous haha My husband got the Gladiator pizza and that was very good! I had a bite of the crust and it was great really crispy and fresh. The wait for the pizza was a little longer than we expected though so be prepared! They said about 20 minutes but I think it took a tad longer.
Haven't been here in a minute, and haven't reviewed LGO on Yelp before. If you haven't been, it's a local gem. Lots a boutique finds in their storefront. Both fun grocery picks, gift ideas, and children's toys to peruse. Their food is pretty good for a quick lunch on the go! I came here with friends just for a casual pickup and catchup. I ordered the seasonal Berry Cheesecake Latte. Instant hit!! I was a bit shocked by opting for oat milk was $1.50...but disregarding that bit, the latte was a cozy summer drink. As soon as I ordered it and put my card away, I turned around and my drink was ready! read more

I had the tuna sandwich it had yellow raisins , dill, celery, relish mix in also sliced red apples on top with cucumber , tomato, pickle on the side. Taste like Albicore tuna. Service very nice and knowledgeable nice place for first date or just to sit with guest and chat inside or out. read more

Met friends for breakfast at this very popular spot. Always love to hit up local joints. LGO is a gem! Service is walk up to order, and wait for your name to be called. We had a large order and they helped us to our table with it. This was very much appreciated!! The food was great! I highly recommend the french pancakes, they are so light and delicious! The english muffins are wonderful too. Two folks in our group had the commuter sandwich and loved it! One of a kind ambiance tops off the experience. LGO will be added to our must visit list. read more

La Grande Orange (LGO) was a great expirence for me! A small group of us went on a Monday night for a dinner out. There was no wait and our server was amazing from the start (thank you, Christian). My friend and I shared a veggie pizza and a caesar salad. After our meal we went over to their shop next door and got a slice of key lime pie, which was so fresh and delicious. I think LGO will be a place i come back to to have lunch and dinner with friends! read more
LGO isn't perfect, but it's still great. The main issue I think you'll have if you don't go often is parking and navigating the lines and the system. Because it's really like three places in one building. Other thing that might get you in the prices, although in Arcadia it's fairly typical. Ok, on to the food and experience... The food is consistently excellent. Fresh and good quality. I usually get the egg breakfast and it's fantastic. Hack: order a half-side of bacon and usually get a huge pile of it. It always comes with in season fruit. Which is the sort of touch that makes lgo better than a cheap diner. I also get the chicken and turkey sandwiches often and they are both amazing. Stuffed with meat and very filling. Delicious cheese (havarti?) on the turkey sandwich. The chicken is my favorite probably; I get it ok a wheat wrap. It comes with slaw and barbecue sauce with pickles on the side. I usually eat half for lunch. It comes with the same little seasonal fruit cup many of their dishes come with. Their tea is always fresh. I used to always get the back tea but lately been getting the passion. Both great. Coffee is usually good although I usually have a lot of grounds in my cup. The tap water water station is awful and so I never drink water there. That's my only real complaint. The pizza is delicious and typical fire oven pizza that is popular these days. Fallen angel is my goto. The place is almost always packed and the staff does a great job of staying friendly and keeping things clean and moving along. They also have a market with gifts and trinkets that's are mostly overpriced. They still get five stars because what they have is a neighborhood staple that is consistent, reliable, and alive. That's not super common in Phoenix residential neighborhoods. It's unique and has character and is worth at least one visit. read more

First time here. I don't typically like to give less than favorable reviews. For me, I won't return as it's style of food and coffee is not for me. It you like strong curated coffee and unique Gelato this place is for you. When you walk in for the first time, you find that it's a store with a bakery, cafe, and gelato bar tucked away in the back. They have a lot of unique items, which I believe goes well for their demographic. The staff was nice and the service was fast. If the style of food was ideal for me, I would go back. read more

I really wanted to loooveee this place! It was super cool don't get me wrong, but maybe just not for me. It's literally a rich persons shop lol. Super expensive but cool trinkets around the store. Definitely not stroller friendly I was bumping into everything and everyone. The service was great and the triple chocolate croissant was the best thing I've ever had, but the coffee was sooo chalky - might have been their homemade oat milk? Would come back alone and try more stuff, especially the food! read more
This place is really busy and the food/coffee really explain why. There are many menu options, vegan, gluten free, dairy free. They have made to order or grab and go. They have a full coffee/ tea bar. Amble parking and seating in many different areas. Inside the market is shopping for food related items, gifts and wine. It can be a little loud near the restaurant so opt for the side seating for a quieter work space. read more

The pizza and salad we ordered were out of this world! They make their own gluten free crust and they even have dairy free pizza. I did a grab and go salad and it was so so good, I was beyond impressed! I wanted to buy 4 more to take home for lunches for the week. It is attached to an adorable boutique and a insanely talented bakery. They have everything from custom cakes to grab and go desserts and everything in between. The pizza was so fresh and the teas were delicious. They also have beers and wines and other drinks. Great for large groups, families and lunch/dinner dates. The service was great and everyone was so attentive and helpful. We will be back over and over! read more

Yes you can not a problem at all.

It's a restaurant/bakery with a small shop. The shop has gifts, chocolates and candies, wine, books, etc. no fruit or veg or regular groceries.
Can you make reservations for breakfast here? Or is it a first come first serve kind of place? Having never been I am a bit confused if it's a grocery store or a restaurant?
Yes you can! They even have curb side delivery if you call in orders to be picked up. But they do have breakfast lunch available and it's like a small store inside with all kinds of knickknacks to sell. It gets packed but they keep everything in…
