Located at the lively High Street in Desert Ridge, The Grove is surrounded by a curated mix of upscale boutiques, restaurants, wine bars, and salons, making it a fun spot to grab a coffee while exploring the area. Parking was easy with both street and garage options available, which is always a plus. The space offers both indoor seating and a dog-friendly patio, giving it a relaxed and welcoming vibe. We ordered the Strawberry Latte and a vanilla cappuccino. Unfortunately, the Strawberry Latte was a bit disappointing since it lacked much strawberry flavor and isn't something we'd order again. The vanilla cappuccino, however, was excellent -- rich, flavorful, and served piping hot, which I personally loved. I stopped by The Grove Artisan Cafe and Bakery for a beverage on a Sunday afternoon. Located on High Street, parking shouldn't be an issue on the street, the complimentary parking lots, or the garage that surrounds the popular entertainment district. Ambiance (4/5): This is a charming coffee shop. It's not huge, but there's a good amount of seating. Including some of the comfortable variety. And some tables and areas for larger groups. Pretty much everything you need. There's a lot of sunlight and the decor is modern and clean. Service (4.5/5): You order at the counter and they bring your beverage to you when it's ready. Which goes above the typical call your name out routine at most coffee shops. A nice touch. Service, overall, was friendly and pretty efficient. Food (N/A): I didn't have any food on this visit, but they have various pastries, sweets, sandwiches, and sides for purchase. Drinks (4.5/5): I'm not a coffee drinker so I always appreciate it when a coffee shop has a good number of selections that extend beyond just coffee. You'll find that here. They have hot and iced teas, lemonade, and some more creative options. On their seasonal menu, they had a lemonade with rose and lavender. It's available in three sizes (I appreciate the options here too). The drink was reasonably priced and it was a solid lemonade. I was satisfied all-around. The Grove is an awesome place to study, work, or relax. And if you're feeling like turning things up a notch, there's a speakeasy hidden inside the coffee shop that opens up at 4 p.m. Hint hint. The Grove was good. I really enjoyed my breakfast wrap. My cappuccino was good as well. The staff were polite and helpful. I sat inside and it was not too loud, so I could see people wanting to use this as a place to do some work. Stopped by during a Friday around noon and was surprised to encounter High Street, an "exceptional 628,000-square-foot mixed-use development advantageously located in the heart of Desert Ridge-Arizona's largest master-planned community". The Grove was tucked in between numerous shops and restaurants in this trendy shopping center. I was surprised at how crowded the whole area was, with the young and old alike walking around and enjoying these establishments. There was curbside parking and parking lots and parking garages nearby; I snagged a spot in the parking lot, specifically parking in 3 hour visitor parking. Walking back to The Grove itself, there were some folks sitting in the outside patio basking in the temperate weather. Upon entering the cafe, I noticed the spacious seating with booths and vintage-appearing chairs (as in the styles appeared vintage, but they didn't seem old/used) - all furnishings seemed very comfortable, which I felt is unique for coffee shops. There is also ample lighting to illuminate the interior and people-watch others walking around High Street. I am always drawn to seasonal/specialty menus and opted for the "Rose Gold Latte", a vanilla latte with rose cold foam. It was a perfect sweet altogether. The rose foam itself was very subtle, and without knowing it was supposed to be rosy I wouldn't have guessed -- this could be a good or bad thing depending on preference, but I personally would've wanted a bit more rose flavor. Overall, this café is perfect for working, with free Wi-Fi, two individual bathrooms, comfortable furniture, self served water station, and access to an outlet (I'm sitting at the booth closest to the bathrooms, which has its own outlet). Would definitely come again if I want a tranquil coffee shop to work at for an extended amount of time especially with food options if I get hungry! read more

Cute little coffee shop. Perfect place to stop for coffee or tea while at the farmers market today on high Street. It was a little cool out so we sat inside. Not a lot of seating, but we managed to snag a couch and two chairs. The service was great and the drinks were tasty! I had an almond Chai, hubby had berry tea. The baristas are super nice and give amazing recommendations. The service was fast, I only waited a few minutes. The atmosphere was comfortable with relaxing music that was not too loud. There are multiple different types of seating and all are comfortable chairs or couches. Great for coming by yourself or as a group. As someone who has worked remote at coffee shops, I think this would be a great place due to the calm, quite, and relaxing atmosphere. I ordered a plain cappuccino with oatmilk and it was delicious. The coffee had a strong and rich taste that was addictive. I 100% recommend. The price was also affordable compared to other local coffee shops in the area. I spent about $5 for my drink. I definitely recommend checking out the Grove Artisan Cafe and Bakery. Also this coffee shop does have a speakeasy open in the evening, I did not check it out, but with the location and the amazing service, I will be back to try it. read more

We recently tried this cafe - very friendly service. I tried the sweet latte that I was told is very popular - it was way too sweet for my taste so next visit I plan to get cappucino so I can actually taste the coffee. Very cute shop on High St! they have a few food items to choose from, and a fairly large drink menu. The barista was friendly and the space inside clean. I ordered a seasonal Matcha, which sadly was not great. The Matcha was low quality (very light green) and the syrup too sweet. I will likely return to try the coffee :-) read more

The service is good and quick. Ordered an ice coffee with cream. The coffee quality was good and had some mocha notes. The coffee didn't taste watered down, which can sometimes happen. Visited last weekend while at the Sunday farmers market and tried the AM sandwich/burrito along with the chocolate chip banana bread, everything was so good. Before leaving, I had to go back for another coffee and more banana bread. All of it was recommended by the woman taking my order, and she did not miss. It got really busy while we were there, and you could feel how eager everyone was for their food. Cute coffee shop that replaced the previous coffee shop on high street! It was busy but they had our order ready fast, no complaints with service! Seating is comfy and there is a good amount of space in here plus some outdoor seating. I got a caramel apple latte with oat mild which was yummy, and my parents had tea which they enjoyed! They had some snacks up front too which was great for my toddler! We stopped here during the high street farmers market too, so a good place to get a caffeinated drink to stroll the market with! Can't tell if this place is trying to be a third wave coffee shop or just an ugly decorated place that rewards pastries that aren't made fresh in house. I've been curious about this new coffee shop I pass on my way to work. it smells and looks great from outside. So today, I finally stopped in to check it out. The ambiance was cozy and felt perfect for small meetings or a quiet coffee break! I ordered a cappuccino and chocolate croissants, but when I looked closely at the pastry display, I noticed a bunch of fruit flies flying and sitting right on the pastries. It was pretty gross. I informed the lady at the counter and asked if they had any fresh ones inside, and to my surprise, she said she was just planning to move the flies and serve the same. I was honestly shocked, but to be fair, she was at least being honest about it. I firmly told her that wasn't okay, and she apologized, saying they didn't have any others. I just took my coffee to go, but even that was disappointing, it wasn't hot enough and didn't taste that great. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for. read more

I really want this place to succeed as I think the DR area and City North need a good coffee shop. I think they are close but not quite there. It needs a little more character (something on the walls maybe, actual silverware). The drinks were good as well as the banana bread that I had. I love that you can do any flavor cold foam so I added strawberry cold foam on top of my matcha. The vibe is so freaking cute also!! Def recommend. If I could give the store a 0 I would... they're extremely rude specifically the blonde barista and it seems like the managers are rarely there.
