Great hidden coffee shop. Plenty of seat and a massive variety of drinks and snacks. We grabbed a fruit tart and I had a Pumpkin patch which was very good. Great little coffee shop vibe! Great for a girls morning to catch up.

A locals' spot that works well for a quick cup of coffee or a light bite. The morning I visited, the music was a bit loud and seating was limited. They offer a nice variety of pastries, both wrapped and under glass. They're ikely not baked that morning, but still enjoyable. I had a thick slice of pumpkin bread, which was moist and flavorful, along with a latte. While the coffee doesn't quite reach the level of third-wave shops like Press or Cartel, it's a perfectly good option if you're in the area and want something quick and convenient.

Stopped by after a work engagement. I desperately needed coffee to survive the rest of the day lol I ordered a banana toffee latte or something similar to that name. I don't think I've ever had anything like that, it was so creamy yet refreshing. The interior was super cute but is a super tightly filled space. I felt a teeny bit claustrophobic. The service was nice and quick!

I love local coffee and try to keep local beans on hand for my morning cup. That's what brought me to Cortado, well and the protein waffle! I ordered a cold brew with cream and the Nutella protein waffle. The coffee was pretty standard. The waffle is so good that you doubt that it should be called a protein waffle! And honestly, at 15 grams of protein it can't go head to head with a protein shake when it comes to macros, but it sure is more delish. It's a good treat! I selected a bag of beans from the back wall of the store. There were no prices marked, but I usually find the price consistent at other local coffee roasters. When they rang the coffee up for $28... I realized that this was one of those situations of 'if you need to ask the price then you can't afford it.' The staff was kind in response to my sticker shock. Like many of the neighborhood locals, I'll be back soon for brunch or a cold brew!

Such masterful quality in a casual "want" location. This establishment effortlessly redefines expectations. The Brown Gold, shaken to silken perfection and crowned with tiramisu cold foam --rich, balanced, and I'm forever kissing Starbucks goodbye! The desserts are simply divine. The combinations are extensive, creative, and flawlessly executed--no weak links, just one showstopper after another. The entire space glows with pride. Even more impressive is the staff: I overheard a customer ask a flurry of detailed questions, and the team responded with infinite patience and warmth. Another guest summed it up perfectly: "What other place would be so knowledgeable and kind to explain all this?" That moment alone spoke volumes. Despite the excellence, prices remain astonishingly reasonable. Value, quality, and experience are perfectly aligned here. This isn't just a hidden gem--it's a glowing beacon!

Cortado is the perfect place for a meetup with friends on a delightfully drizzly morning. The warm, inviting atmosphere with lots of wood paneling, table seating as well as upholstered conversational seating is great for small groups. There's an extensive drink menu with a variety of choices from seasonal coffees and matchas and standard hot and cold beverages. So many food choices for the hungry - breakfast sandwiches, avocado bagels and a vast array of baked goods. The glass cloches reveal so many tempting baked goods - cookies, bars, brownies and more. Come hungry and take some home to share! The BC in their name references the former Bread Crafters stores, missing their sandwiches? Now you have a good alternative! Ask them to dial down the sweetness level on any of the drinks, even at half sweet I had a sugar rush!

I walked in and was greeted by the barista who threw out a good morning while ringing someone up. The pastry case or table really is huge with so many sweet treats! I tried a pecan toffee bar and it was perfect blend of crunchy and smooth. This place has a lot of syrup options and drink concoctions if that's your thing! Plus a good amount of alternative milks (I saw pistachio milk listed!) I'm always happy when I see rose syrup on the menu, so I ordered a rose latte which was delicious. They had a ton of hearty food options as well (salads, toasts, burritos, and more) and I hope to come back to try a burrito. When I waited for my drink there was a constant stream of people coming in and the barista greeted every one of them. NOTE: when I went in on Monday morning it seemed the barista / cashier was the only one available to make drinks so be patient! I didn't wait longer than 5mins, but I could tell she cared bc she made sure to let each person know she'd be right with them- making a drink then serving a customer etc. The place has decent amount of seating inside but it is a bit of a tight fit, they offer outdoor seating too which I'm sure is nicer in the fall!

Stopped in to Cortado as this is close to my office and I was in need of caffeine. Their fresh baked goods is the first thing I smelled when walking in. They had just put out muffins that were still warm so of course I had to grab one. It was the morning glory muffin which think of carrot cake in muffin form. It was sooooo good. The gal working so super nice and allowed me time to decide on what to drink. They had so many choices! I opted for the praline sugar cookie latte which comes standard with almond milk. The coffee wasn't the best brew but also not the worst. I will definitely come back for some baked goods and grab another coffee!

The cutest little coffee shop! The service is great, it's cozy inside, and the pastries & coffee are delish! They have just about every flavor syrup you could think of for coffee. Also, their banana bread is amazing!

Google Maps made it look like an empty lot, so I wasn't even sure it existed...but I figured worst case, I'd just grab gas nearby and move on. Pulling in was a little confusing -definitely pay attention to the arrows on the road because I ended up in the wrong spot instead of the drive-thru (a sign would help...or maybe I just missed it). There were about four cars ahead of me, which felt like a good sign. Someone came right up to my window to take my order, and when I said it was my first time, they were super helpful with recommendations. I went with a 24oz SF Augustine with cold foam and three espresso shots. It was really good - perfectly balanced, not too sweet. The espresso had a slightly burnt taste, but not in a bad way or anything overpowering. I also love that they have a "best sellers" list and it makes trying something new way easier and the drinks are pretty unique. Definitely coming back! Heads up: this is more of a grab-and-go spot--no seating, and I'm not sure about ordering ahead. But if you're an early bird who just wants a solid coffee fast, it's perfect. And I'm pretty sure it's local, which makes it even better!

The Grove was tucked in between numerous shops and restaurants in this trendy shopping center. I was surprised at how crowded the whole area was, with the young and old alike walking around and enjoying these establishments. There was curbside parking and parking lots and parking garages nearby; I snagged a spot in the parking lot, specifically parking in 3 hour visitor parking. Walking back to The Grove itself, there were some folks sitting in the outside patio basking in the temperate weather. Upon entering the cafe, I noticed the spacious seating with booths and vintage-appearing chairs (as in the styles appeared vintage, but they didn't seem old/used) - all furnishings seemed very comfortable, which I felt is unique for coffee shops. There is also ample lighting to illuminate the interior and people-watch others walking around High Street. I am always drawn to seasonal/specialty menus and opted for the "Rose Gold Latte", a vanilla latte with rose cold foam. It was a perfect sweet altogether. The rose foam itself was very subtle, and without knowing it was supposed to be rosy I wouldn't have guessed -- this could be a good or bad thing depending on preference, but I personally would've wanted a bit more rose flavor. Overall, this café is perfect for working, with free Wi-Fi, two individual bathrooms, comfortable furniture, self served water station, and access to an outlet (I'm sitting at the booth closest to the bathrooms, which has its own outlet). Would definitely come again if I want a tranquil coffee shop to work at for an extended amount of time especially with food options if I get hungry!

There are 2 seating areas toward the left (with many tables and some booths) and the right (with many booths lining the wall) then a large table toward the back. Given the ample access to the natural sunlight, I opted to sit toward the left at a booth with my back to the barista section. There was free wifi (must ask barista for code, no small sign) and charging underneath my seat! I am usually drawn to seasonal/specialty drink menus. At the time, there was a "Spring in the Desert" Menu with a floral "wildflower shaken espresso" (honey + espresso + milk), citrus "grapefruit splash" (sparkling pink grapefruit + ginger + espresso), and herb "bay leaf brown sugar latte" exclusive to this location (housemade bay leaf syrup + espresso + milk. As I was interested in all 3 options, I asked the barista which would be the sweetest, and she recommended the bay leaf brown sugar latte! Amazing coffee shop with a vibrant interior, spacious, great for socializing and working, unique drink options. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends and Phoenix tourists alike.

We ordered an iced brown sugar oat milk shaken with cold foam and iced turtle with cold foam. The lady at the register was nice and asked if we really wanted cold foam, and we said yes twice. The coffee was taking a while so we walked around the area and looked at their merchandise but the coffees still wasn't done so we sat at the chairs and tables by the coffee place. The lady at the register stated that the cold foam wasn't working out and they are trying and asked if we still wanted to wait. So it's odd that she was going to give us the coffee without it and not even ask if we wanted anything else in place of that. After what seemed like 15 minutes waiting for iced coffee we finally got it and as you can see from the picture, there was barely any cold foam. The lady was nice but the experience was lacking due to the order not being what we really wanted. Both coffees were sweet and it was not terrible. I'd go back for the baked goods only.
