    Iced cardamom latte
    Teena M.

I live in this area and have been dying for a coffee shop to open near me that is actually good and it has finally happened!!!! This place has amazing coffee and delicious food. It is family owned and operated. The service is both friendly and informative. They have stuffed dates and baklava. Crepes and other yummy food items. I had to get the Turkish coffee and it did not disappoint. It was an Ethiopian origin coffee with real cardamom spice in the coffee. So delicious and definitely hit the spot. My friend tried the iced cardamom latte and it too was delicious. The cardamom and peanut butter stuffed dates were the perfect combo and amount of sweetness to go with my coffee. I can't wait to return to this new gem in my neighborhood

I stopped by Sahara Coffee soon after it first opened and was impressed to see how packed it was! There was a line to the door from the inside, but luckily we snagged a booth (able to comfortable seat up to 4 people). Each booth has access to a power outlet from either side but not both sides. Otherwise, there are 6 tables with 2-4 chairs each and a circular bench with a few attached personal tables and outlet access. The atmosphere was pretty loud, but there were plenty of folks with laptops out doing work. I didn't see a sign with the guest wifi password, but you can ask the barista when you order/pick up your drink. There is no free water station, but there is a fridge toward the back with cans and water bottles for purchase. We got the Spanish latte with tiramisu cold foam, cardamom latte with vanilla cold foam, and brown butter chocolate chip cookie. I enjoyed everything we ordered! The Spanish latte had a strong coffee taste and was mildly sweet - probably the best latte option to best appreciate the coffee taste itself. The cardamom latte was sweeter with a subtle cardamom flavor - I was worried that it would be overpowering, but I wouldn't be mad if it was a little stronger. The cookie was very large, thin, and soft; I was expecting it to be saltier and less sweet but was still enjoyed it! We stayed for a few hours to do some work comfortably at the cushioned booths with throw pillows. Around 2:30pm, most of the crowd died down, but there was still a steady flow of customers still keeping the line going. Overall delicious cafe with interesting drink options, much needed on this side of town in North Phoenix! Will definitely be back to at the very least grab to-go lattes with the girls! Pro tip: there's a 4% off discount as an incentive to pay with cash!

Came back again with my husband. Again exceptional service, it's evident they take pride in their product.

This coffee TASTES like coffee. Hear me out - it doesn't taste burned. It's not over powered by sugar or milk (specifically the Spanish latte and the salted Carmel latte I have tried so far). I haven't tried any food yet but their display box looked delicious. Inside is so so cute with mirrors to take pictures and light neutral colors. It's opening month so it can get pretty busy but the line went quickly. I'm really excited to try more items from them.

Nice new family-owned coffee shop serving up lattes, matcha, turkish coffee, teas, and pastries. I tried the iced cardamom latte, orange blossom latte, turkish coffee, and zaatar mana'eesh. The cardamom latte was my fave. I've never tried cardamom with coffee but it paired well and the drink was not too sweet. The orange blossom latte tasted veryyy floral which I did not expect but it does contain blossom water! The mana-eesh was tasty and simple. A toasted flatbread with zaatar on top. Turkish coffee was strong and piping hot, brewed in a metal pot that's heated in hot sand. Their matcha looks good--has a nice color and is whisked, not pre-batched. The owners were incredibly nice and asked us about our experience and shared their new drink ideas for next time. Expect it to be busy/crowded for the next couple of weeks!

So so happy our neighborhood has a local coffee shop ! And my now new favorite spot to get a strawberry matcha ! I love supporting small businesses ! I love it's a coffee shop that stands I their culture ! It's a new Palestinian coffee shop ! Love all the interior design . It's a great spot to get coffee with friends ! Great space for meetings! I bet the outdoor seating is lovely once the Arizona heat cools down ! I got a strawberry matcha for $9.77 which isn't to bad of price and they use ceremonial matcha which is my favorite! The employees are very kind and helpful ! I love the ambiance very nicely lit and welcoming ! Definitely will be back ! And highly recommend the community support support and I love that I don't have add sweetener to my matcha it was absolutely perfect .

Excited to try this spot! I noticed the Sahara Coffee sign a few months ago and was wondering what would open in this area. Sahara Coffee is a Palestinian owned coffee shop in North Phoenix. The ambience is beautiful with comfortable seating and plenty of pillows. There's gorgeous fabric and patterns throughout but the atmosphere is still calm. The service was wonderful. My barista offered helpful suggestions that weren't too sweet. I ordered the Spanish latte and would absolutely get it again! The espresso flavor was amazing and the sweetness from evaporated milk was subtle. Highly recommend Sahara!

By far one of the best coffee shops in the area. If you're debating on going here, go! As someone who is very particular about their coffee actually tasting like coffee and not a sweet drink, this place did their job and did it well. Flavorful, light, and absolutely delicious. The ambience is also well put together and extremely clean with a ton of seating. I will be returning for the Spanish Latte and the Salted Carmel coffee.

Was super hyped to check out this spot after seeing they opened! We tried two matchas- the strawberry and salted maple, one w oat milk and one w almond. they were both the perfect amount of sweetness. I'd def recommend the oat milk because it makes the drink a lot creamier but both were nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, we will be returning for sure. I think the only critique I have is that I'd love for them to have a reward/point system considering the price of the drinks, so hopefully that happens soon! Love the set up for work as well w the outlets and booths!!

Adorable setup for the shop! Was super crowded for such a new business with lots of people studying, but drinks still came out very quickly! My party got a cardamom latte and a biscoff latte and both were awesome! Certainly not the cheapest coffee around, but I'd rather throw in more money for great coffee from a small business than spend only slightly less at Starbucks

An amazing thing to find a coffee shop that still holds that welcoming, comforting "please stay and sit for awhile" vibe to it. The interior design of this place is gorgeous, I'm especially fond of the centerpiece. I went during the soft opening and the grand opening and they were busy! But very kind and helpful. I ordered a tiramisu latte and salted maple latte with oat milk - delicious! Coffee has great body and depth to it and the flavors come through without being overly sweet. I will say, if you are sensitive to caffeine, this coffee will come through!! Overall, very good spot to catch up with anyone and hang out, with great food and drink offered and a calming environment to boot.

Brand new coffee shop in North Phoenix. My daughter & I tried out over the weekend for their soft opening. It is a welcoming atmosphere & nicely decorated. Place was packed as it was the opening weekend. Baristas were doing a good job keeping things moving with so many people. Tried the tiramisu latte, the salted maple latte, a zaatar croissant & an apple puff pastry. Food & drinks were tasty & reasonably priced. Location is in Safeway shopping center and plentiful parking / no drive through. Watched an older gentleman make Turkish coffee over hot sand while waiting in line - interesting process!

Longer Review: Came here when they first opened and liked what they potentially would turn in to. Came back 2nd time with group of TEENS who all bought their own stuff. They really liked it but said the PRICES WERE TOO HIGH. So I drove the Group to a placed on the west side with the same quality but was more reasonable. 3rd Visit: I was treating two TWEENS by taking them some place where they could have fun spending their own money. While the two of them were chatting at the register, one of the tweens told the other she wanted something because it sounded good. The manager or team member said "you want that?", the tween said "yea". The manager/team member started making it. The two tweens came back a few minutes later with their real order. the manager or team member presented them with A BILL FOR THREE DRINKS. I informed her this is how the children talk, they just were talking and that wasn't their order. She refused to take it off the bill and forced children to choose paying the whole thing or walking out. I wasn't going to stand for it but the other tween (not the one who was taking about it originally) insisted they'd buy both their drink and the unwanted drink anyway (to try something new) even though they didn't want it. Not my kid and their parent was okay with it so whatever I guess. I didn't say anything bad but the first tween who went through the process of thinking out loud, watching the whole ordeal and how their friend handled the situation felt it was fine but also the shop manager/team member was rude and the other employees there were compliant with this poor behavior and doesn't want to go back. I never went back.

WeBe Coffee Roasters is one of those finds that makes you wish you had discovered it sooner. Even more so, I wish I lived closer. The space alone is worth the trip. The team put real thought into every aspect of the experience. The counter has a beautiful waved ribbed wood design, the colors are immersive without being overwhelming, and the whole interior has a visual balance that most designers would be proud of. There are flowers around the cafe that give it a gentle, unexpected touch. I genuinely regretted not bringing a better camera. But the coffee is the real story. They source specialty beans from different parts of the world and roast in-house on a Primo roaster, which is a hand-built machine that serious roasters invest in. I had a double espresso, something I cannot live without, and it held up to the room. The seating is comfortable and well thought out. There is room for conversation and room to get work done. I ended up staying longer than I planned, which is always the sign of a good spot. They also have a merch area with coffee gear worth browsing, and bags of their roasted coffee available to take home. On the back wall there is a mural that reads, "Making good coffee, good fun." That line does a better job describing this place than anything I could write. This one feels like it belongs in Scottsdale. North Phoenix is lucky to have it.

The toasty flavor of the brown butter paired well with the almond milk and it wasn't too sweet with the brown sugar. If you like it sweeter they do have a condiment bar. My mini got the firecracker lemonade. It tasted exactly like a bomb pop. It was a little too sweet for my taste but she loved it. Cute vibes, super chill. Ample parking as it shares a parking lot with multiple businesses. FYI: the parking lot exit on the side with the light and the smaller side street is more "low car friendly". The lip of the entrance to the parking lot from 7th St is weirdly steep.
