If an interior designer, Henri Matisse, and a coffee lover had a baby... this is what that coffee shop would look like. WeBe Coffee Roasters is one of those finds that makes you wish you had discovered it sooner. Even more so, I wish I lived closer. The space alone is worth the trip. The team put real thought into every aspect of the experience. The counter has a beautiful waved ribbed wood design, the colors are immersive without being overwhelming, and the whole interior has a visual balance that most designers would be proud of. There are flowers around the cafe that give it a gentle, unexpected touch. I genuinely regretted not bringing a better camera. But the coffee is the real story. They source specialty beans from different parts of the world and roast in-house on a Primo roaster, which is a hand-built machine that serious roasters invest in. I had a double espresso, something I cannot live without, and it held up to the room. The seating is comfortable and well thought out. There is room for conversation and room to get work done. I ended up staying longer than I planned, which is always the sign of a good spot. They also have a merch area with coffee gear worth browsing, and bags of their roasted coffee available to take home. On the back wall there is a mural that reads, "Making good coffee, good fun." That line does a better job describing this place than anything I could write. This one feels like it belongs in Scottsdale. North Phoenix is lucky to have it. read more

Finally got to try WeBe after weeks of this place being on my list, it's just that their hours of 7a-3p usually doesn't align with my work or weekend schedule (where I usually like to sleep in). The outside is very unassuming; it's nestled in an unremarkable-appearing complex with a sign that just says "coffee" outside. Upon entering, the space is spacious and vibrant with a colorful interior design. There are 2 seating areas toward the left (with many tables and some booths) and the right (with many booths lining the wall) then a large table toward the back. Given the ample access to the natural sunlight, I opted to sit toward the left at a booth with my back to the barista section. There was free wifi (must ask barista for code, no small sign) and charging underneath my seat! I am usually drawn to seasonal/specialty drink menus. At the time, there was a "Spring in the Desert" Menu with a floral "wildflower shaken espresso" (honey + espresso + milk), citrus "grapefruit splash" (sparkling pink grapefruit + ginger + espresso), and herb "bay leaf brown sugar latte" exclusive to this location (housemade bay leaf syrup + espresso + milk. As I was interested in all 3 options, I asked the barista which would be the sweetest, and she recommended the bay leaf brown sugar latte! The syrup added a unique dimension while being a balanced level of sweet, with delicious coffee at the base of the drink. Amazing coffee shop with a vibrant interior, spacious, great for socializing and working, unique drink options. Thought I'd try it out, read the whole menu, asked a couple questions about the drinks and such, employees seemed nice so no issue there at all, but almost $8.00 for maybe the size if not slightly smaller than a grande coffee is diabolical, flavor was below par, I drink a lot of coffee from many places and I have to say this is not it. This place is at the bottom of my coffee spots. Won't be going back. Bad location as well. Not a great area. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the employees were nice. It's in a plaza and it just says "coffee" on the outside When you get near the door you see the name "webe coffee roasters" it's a cute but very small cafe Their coffee is super delicious. I hap a drip which was an organic single origin Guatemalan coffee. It was light and very flavorful. I thought it had notes of toasted nuts and light hints of cocoa and spice. I really enjoyed it. My friend tried the blueberry crumble latte and though she said it wasn't as blueberry flavored as she thought it would be it was delicious and she doesn't like coffee so that says something. Wow - this place absolutely lives up to the hype. Hands down the best coffee I've ever had in my life. From the outside, it's unassuming - just a simple coffee sign - but step inside and it's got such a good vibe. Gorgeous pothos hanging from the ceiling, minimal artwork, and a massive coffee roaster right in the middle of the space. It's cozy and inviting, the kind of spot where you could easily open your laptop and settle in for a few hours. It's on the smaller side, but dog friendly (which I love) - we saw a few adorable pups while we were there. Now for the best part: the food and coffee. My husband and I both ordered the brown sugar iced latte with oat milk, and wow. The oat milk was perfectly creamy, and the coffee itself was so smooth with incredible flavor. We took one sip, looked at each other, eyes wide, and instantly knew we'd found a gem. We also shared the coffee cake (topped with pecans and powdered sugar) and a croissant. We took them to go and heated them up at home - highly recommend doing that. The croissant was unbelievably buttery, light, and flaky - truly the best I've ever had. The coffee cake was moist and delicious with the perfect nutty crunch from the pecans. The baristas were super friendly and easy to chat with while grabbing our pastries. Some of the best coffee I have ever had. Like many other places I have been to, I found WeBe Coffee Roasters on Yelp. When I saw the ratings, I decided to try it. Their high rating is justified. The young lady taking my order was friendly and helpful. She offered to answer any questions I might have had while browsing the menu. Upon looking through their menu, I ordered a vanilla latte. It was one of the best vanilla lattes I have ever had. Loaded with flavor, and easy on my insides. I also like the atmosphere of the place. It had a nice modern feel to it, and I also appreciated the cleanliness. Although I did not get any of the pastries they had, they looked delicious, and I appreciated the nice variety they offered. Another reviewer mentioned that the pastries are from a local baker. When local businesses are supporting each other, that is a big green flag every time. Not only is there plenty of parking, but other local businesses surround WeBe. I will definitely return the next time I am in the area. It was a great experience, to say the least. read more

I ordered an Almond Milk Cappuccino, my husband a Single Origin; both are pleasantly mild with a honey undertone. WeBe has 2 alternative milk option, Oatly Oat & Almond Milk, and THERE IS NO UPCHARGE! Thomas created our beautiful coffees today, and is such a peaceful, calming presence to be around. The ambiance is that of a very clean, relaxing indoor/outdoor space, clad in light, custom wood pieces throughout, pothos, and flowers at every table. The space is simple, but elegant, and has pops of color and natural sunlight highlighting the peace that is within. Wife and I stopped in to check out a new-to-us coffee shop. WeBe has an astounding Slayer Espresso machine and roasting in the rear of the shop. It happened to be a relatively packed venue, but we were still able to find seating indoors. Despite my typical fascination with coffee drinks from stellar machines, I chose the Strawberry Matcha and was blown away. Wife chose the pistachio latte which was good, but was relatively mild on the pistachio flavor. Didn't get a chance to try out the food as unfortunately no pastries were available by around 11am on a Saturday. We decided to make the trek to visit their storefront on a Saturday morning. If we lived closer, we'd definitely be regulars here. Great vibes - very open, airy, and modern. This is a good spot to drink a cup of coffee and go, but I couldn't see myself bringing a laptop and working for several hours with their current setup.
