    Cappuccino

This is a cute neighborhood coffee shop that I found out about because of the stand they set up at the Uptown Farmers Market. The parking lot is off of a little side alley next to and behind the building. The vibe of the place was a bit retro and midcentury modern because of some of the decor. It seemed a little understaffed when I went - the barista was also the cashier. He was very nice, though he needed to run to the back to ask about the flavor of one of their pastries. I ordered a cappuccino, which was very good, but it was way too hot to drink (I had to wait a good 10-15 minutes for it to cool down). To eat, I ordered a gluten free brown sugar pop-tart. I probably would go with the regular (non- gluten free) version in the future because the pastry was hard and tough.

Exceptional new specialty coffee shop! They take their pour over game seriously. Even have a Yama tower for cold brew. I ordered their Nicaragua and it was chocolaty but clean and balanced. Gaby was super knowledgeable and the greatest vibes. Worth a drive to visit and will definitely be a regular.

This place is close to my neighborhood and I have been wanting to stop in and give it a try. It is very welcoming with a good cafe/coffee house type of vibes. They have a detailed menu that hits any type of thirst you have. I had the pour over coffee (there are quite a few bean types to choose from). We also had the iced mint tea. Both drinks were fabulous. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and had great service. If in the area give it a try!

What a charming cozy local coffee roaster! Inside is small but very cute and gives me old school vibes. We went near closing and didn't realize it. We ordered pour overs: The Nicaragua natural, La Bastilla Estate. Flavor profile of: dark chocolate, cane sugar, and blueberry. Solid cup of coffee. I was so impressed with the service! I am definitely a snob/picky how I have my pour overs so having them in to go cups is a big NOPE to me. However the barista was so sweet there and wanted us to enjoy the coffee and actually get the best experience. Despite being almost closed she served them in glass mugs. I know what you are thinking, I did not request that. She didn't mine staying longer. I also didn't mind coming back to come back to experience the coffee, so this meant a lot to us. This is good old fashion top notch service! This is a small coffee roaster and look forward to trying more of their pour overs. It's family owned and they roast where they serve. I love the smell of freshly roasted coffee (they were roasting while we were there). I definitely want to also try their seasonal specials. I especially want to try the pomegranate tonic and the sugar plum fairy! They both sound so delicious! I'll be back for sure! I definitely recommend! Come stop by and give them a visit . They offer also baked goods and small breakfast items. Very pleased with my first visit here!

Lots of parking in the garage and I'm pretty sure it's free. Went in through the back entrance and the space is bright, clean, with some greenery. Cool bar setup with baristas making specialty drinks. I was between 2 drinks and but got the Rafa (recommended). Sooo good. Got it with oat milk and it was creamy, smooth, not too sweet, with a subtle nutty buttery flavor. Barista handed it to me which was sweet. I saw another barista like delivering to people sitting so that's always nice. Also grabbed the Miso Pecan Spelt Cookie Crispy, chewy, not too sweet. I went right before 10am and some desserts were sold out already! I'd come back for sure. Sit down and try something else.

Moxie Coffee completely won me over from the moment I walked in - the staff are…read moregenuinely some of the kindest I've encountered, and the whole place just has this beautiful, considered aesthetic that feels so intentional. The interior is stunning: warm, minimal, and full of personality. The shelf displaying their coffee bags and packaging is absolutely my vibe. I could honestly browse it all day. They source rare, small-batch beans and it shows. I picked up a red honey processed Ethiopian coffee with tasting notes of raspberry, clementine, hibiscus, and rose petal, and it delivered on every single one. Worth every penny, even if the beans are a splurge. My only regret is not grabbing more bags. On the food side - the tomato thyme danish is a must! Please, please ask them to heat it up. It's incredible either way, but warm? Another level entirely. The whole pastry case looks amazing and they're actively building out a dedicated bakery section, so I can only imagine this gets even better. Watch this space. All in all, Moxie hits on every front - killer coffee, beautiful space, wonderful staff, and pastries that deserve their own fan club!

The outside is very unassuming; it's nestled in an unremarkable-appearing complex with a sign that just says "coffee" outside. Upon entering, the space is spacious and vibrant with a colorful interior design. There are 2 seating areas toward the left (with many tables and some booths) and the right (with many booths lining the wall) then a large table toward the back. Given the ample access to the natural sunlight, I opted to sit toward the left at a booth with my back to the barista section. There was free wifi (must ask barista for code, no small sign) and charging underneath my seat! I am usually drawn to seasonal/specialty drink menus. At the time, there was a "Spring in the Desert" Menu with a floral "wildflower shaken espresso" (honey + espresso + milk), citrus "grapefruit splash" (sparkling pink grapefruit + ginger + espresso), and herb "bay leaf brown sugar latte" exclusive to this location (housemade bay leaf syrup + espresso + milk. As I was interested in all 3 options, I asked the barista which would be the sweetest, and she recommended the bay leaf brown sugar latte! The syrup added a unique dimension while being a balanced level of sweet, with delicious coffee at the base of the drink. Amazing coffee shop with a vibrant interior, spacious, great for socializing and working, unique drink options. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends and Phoenix tourists alike.
