We are ice cream people. We were on our way out of the city and had a serious craving. This shop had great reviews and was tucked at the end of an old strip mall. It was a hot day, so the place was definitely busy, with people lined up for cold treats. The wait was worth it. I ordered a Nutella crepe with a scoop of chocolate chip ice cream. The crepe was warm and soft with lightly crisp edges, and the Nutella was rich and silky, melting into every bite. The ice cream was cold, creamy, and packed with chocolate chips that added a satisfying crunch. The employee was very attentive and friendly. So hubby wanted something sweet after dinner, so we hopped in the car and drove to North Phoenix to this place. It was a 16 mile drive. It did not disappoint. As others have posted there is only one person work and she did a fine job, we did have to wait about 20 minutes for our order to be taken but we weren't in a rush. My crepe was excellent the crepe was light, and tasty the Dulce De Leche and cheesecake was excellent. Hubby enjoyed his waffle cup and ice cream. Service was slow, because it was only one guy working the entire shop. But he was nice, and we weren't in a rush. They have a decent number of different ice creams to choose from--the standard you would expect from an ice cream shop. While I didn't try them, I liked the different options they had for different refreshers (like prickly pear) and the varying ways to enjoy your ice cream (like on top of a crepe or waffle). We ended up splitting a cookie sundae. Way too much whipped crème and nearly not enough ice cream. It was served in a large cup and not a bowl, which was strange, and we were disappointed with the ratio of ice cream to whipped cream. It was good! But don't know that I'd go back again. read more

Kids loved the Superman, I thought it was going to taste like a sherbet but it was not like that at all but it WAS fantastic. I got the frozen hot Chocolate with peanut butter and I already know I'm going to crave it when I get home. The 2 ladies working were so friendly and helpful. This is a nice mom 'n pop shop that serves up ice cream, crepes, coffee, waffles, and other breakfast items. As of this writing, there's 16 different flavors of ice cream to choose from. Oddly enough, they didn't have the price of their quarts on their menu. Note that the best value at any ice cream/frozen yogurt place are their quarts because for twice the price of a triple scoop, you're getting six times the amount of ice cream. The prices here are amazing. The quart of ice cream cost me $13.83. One chain place sold their quarts for $14.39 and another sold it for $11.78; the fact that a mom 'n pop has prices better than chains is extremely commendable as they lack the economies of scale that chain places possess. Some places won't sell quarts and the highest they sell are pints (pints are half the size of quarts) and I've seen other places sell their pints for $11-$19. You can only put 2 different flavors in a quart and I tried out their Superman (which tastes like Fruity Pebbles) and green tea matcha. In addition, I ordered a 20oz frappe.
