Raspados don't hold well, so I decided not to bother picking it up since it would've melted by my scheduled time. Lots of great dessert choices! I had the Diablisol, and my son had the Tiguisol, both were really good. My son originally wanted the mini concha monster (the ice cream sandwich made with conchas), but they were out, so he chose the Tiguisol instead and enjoyed it. The couple running the place was very friendly, the shop was clean, and they clearly take care with presentation. The restrooms were closed during our visit, but overall it was a positive experience. This place is ridiculous. In the BEST way. Wow! Not going to lie, I love walking into a place where the one language not spoken is English. To me that a massive, very exciting indicator that whatever we are about to eat will be authentic and delicious. 10000000% correct here. Not too happy with service and prices. Got 2 small raspados NO ice cream or fruit on them ..... plain ice and the syrup stuff. Their menu board says $6.50 for small raspado (which I didn't mind and was okay to pay that amount) and $8.50 for small with ice cream. Got my 2 rapados and was billed for raspados with ice cream when I asked the lady she continuously said she was charging me the right way, I wasn't going to argue and waste my time since it wasn't going anywhere. I usually don't give five stars on a first visit but this place really surprised and delighted me. For a small place in a strip mall they come packing big flavors and amazing ingredients. We tried three of the raspados and they were out of this world. Probably the best peanut butter ice cream I've ever had. Their chocolate is excellent. I don't know all the layers, but each one was a new experience of deliciousness. I legit want to try everything on their menu. They have so many unique items. Wow, will definitely be returning. This place has a little bit of everything. The options are endless. The staff is very helpful explaining everything on the menu or even making recommendations. I got the walnut raspado with butter pecan ice cream... my partner got the rompope (eggnog) with vanilla ice cream and mango toppings. Raspodos Solaris Tried this dessert place that I saw on "Simply Dumplings" on YouTube that Mikey Chen visited. Had the Chocolate Raspados without coconut, how can you go wrong with a chocolate kind of shake with oreo cookies when it is 105 degrees outside! Very yummy and hit the spot. Also ordered a Banana Strawberry and Chocolate Raspados, this has a wonderful full flavor dominated by strawberries. Both are excellent, maybe lean toward the Banana Strawberry and Chocolate a pinch. In a small shopping flat, no sitting or eating at the location probably due to covid, but seems very clean. Only thing is the price point, each were $10, so two delicious treats were over $20 plus tax and tip. I enjoyed the treats, a little different than just ice cream or any other desserts. So we went there about 10 minutes before they were due to close I had personally never been there before but the friends we went to had and recommended going. I am so glad we did. The couple (which were the owners) were BEYOND friendly. They chatted with us and even gave us some samples of some flavors we had questions about. They are so knowledgeable about their all their stuff which is awesome to see. You can definitely see how much they like what they do and how passionate they are and how they strive to give their customers the best high quality products. I've already been there 2x and I've tried the mangonada which you can go wrong with along with the fresas con crema. But I really liked the pistachio. My friend had the matcha horchata flavor and it was so good. But ultimately my favorite was the Victoria I believe it's called it comes with a flan on top but I opted not to have it on mine and omg it reminded me of a berry cheesecake, I don't know how they did it but t was sooo good. 10/10 read more

One of my favorite ways to pick out restaurants, bars, or businesses is from Yelp's Star Rating system. While looking for an Ice Cream Shop in the area, Raspados Solaris was the ONLY one with a 5 out of 5 Star Rating! So here we go. Tucked in between a Mexican Market and Restaurant, Solaris is a bit tough to find at night but Google Maps will direct you to a small plaza. The night I came in, the shop was well lit and full of people. Very good sign already of good business. A great place to bring your family or a date. The owner greeted us as we walked in and was pleasant and personable. Another great time to use your Spanish as he is Hispanic and will get a good laugh out of anyone trying to use their "Spanglish". Both drinks I ordered were very fresh and something I have never seen available in the Phoenix area! I ordered two drinks, the Mixed Fruit Raspado w/ Mango, Strawberry, and Leche AND the Soursop Raspado w/ Cotton Candy Ice Cream. If you know anything about Soursop, this is an extremely rare fruit from Asia. The owner said he gets his from Mexico which will be fun to find where you can get in AZ as well! I am excited to head back to Raspado Solaris to try their food and other ice cream creations in the near future. Keep up the good work guys! read more
