The best crepes and cheesecake I've had in the valley! The service is top-notch. I am pregnant and was craving a pumpkin crepe, and they made it happen. The pumpkin churro cheesecake on top of the crepe was delicious--I literally cried lol. Great service and amazing food!

I heard about this place on TikTok and learned that it is near Tres Leches Cafe, one of my favorite coffee shops. The first time I stopped by, it was later in the evening and I wasn't hungry so I didn't order anything. This time I was ready to eat and I had the place to myself one late weekend afternoon. I ordered their La Hot Cheetos crepe, which has cream cheese, nacho cheese, and hot Cheetos. It was huge and I took it to go, but next time I will plan to eat it on site. Three of my favorite food ingredients and it was tasty and I only wish I had eaten it all fresh. Service was friendly and welcoming. While I waited, I perused the goods from the different vendors. There are board games, lots of tables and chairs for seating, and several mutual aid collections which was great to see. This place is clearly a labor of love and very community-focused. They are also doing a toy drive for children and I saw so many donations. Would love to come back and try different creations, maybe a sweet crepe and one of their drinks. Gracias Olla Olla!

There are so many wonderful things I could say about this place, I don't even know where to begin! First off, the ambiance is absolutely amazing--warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. You walk in and instantly feel the vibe. Now let's talk about the food--top of the line delicious. Every dish we tried was full of flavor, clearly made with care and quality ingredients. It's the kind of place where you take one bite and immediately start planning your next visit. The music was also on point--great selections that added perfectly to the overall vibe without being too loud or distracting. It just enhanced the experience even more. We were so lucky to come in on a paint night--free admission and such a fun atmosphere! The prices were great, too, which made the whole night even better. It felt like we stumbled into the perfect place at the perfect time. And as a bonus, they're open late, which is perfect for night owls and late-night snackers like me and my friends. It's rare to find a spot that checks all the boxes: delicious food, amazing ambiance, great music, friendly staff, and fun events.

Olla Olla is so cute and unique! I came here after seeing their post on Yelp and Instagram and on a Friday night they weren't too busy. They have a lot of unique combinations but you can also build your own crepe. They also have specialty coffee and drinks. It looks like you can rent this space for events as it had looked like people rented the space for a Galentines paint event when we came. You can also paint here for $10 and they have all the supplies which is pretty cool. I got the Strawberry crepe which was yummy and flavorful. It satisfied my late night sweet tooth. Can't wait to try more of this place!

Such a fun experience! Friendly environment, great music and the cake decorating was so relaxing! The surrounding area is a little shady but once inside you forget all about that! Everyone was very nice!

Within the last few years, I've become more and more obsessed with savory crepes. I've been fulfilling this desire with hunting down the best French bakeries and brunch spots, but this place came across my feed and I became so excited! Today, I finally got to try this Mexican crepe place with 6 of my friends and they nailed what I've been craving! Their menu keeps you on the edge since it changes monthly. It gives you good reason to return since you wonder how something unique will be executed next. My friends loved the sweet crepes, like the classic and the Red Velvet crepe. I didn't expect an actual slice of red velvet cake to be on our crepe and loaded with frosting. It was amazing! My favorites were the pizza one and the huevos rancheros crepe. I love these entrees by themselves, so to have them as part of crepes made it much more special. While waiting for the crepes to come out and the café (coffee) horchata drink that I ordered, I explored around the restaurant and there were little local gifts for sale like jewelry, Mexican candy, and other fun things. They do paint and sip days too! The order took a little bit to come out but it was worth the wait, especially since it was a bit busy this morning! The staff is so nice too! I love this place!

Wonderful service and food! What more can you ask for when you are looking for a place to eat. And let's not forget the vibes in the shop are so calm but also such great chill vibes. A really great hidden spot in downtown Phoenix if you're looking for yummy, big, delicious crepes and drinks. Must try!

Olla Olla crepes located at 1748 W Van Buren St, Phoenix, AZ. This place is a must try they have signature crepes or build your own crepes which is fun for picky eaters ( my son Eli) his favorite part of this trip hands down is the Horchata well prepared in a mason jar that you get to take home. We are thoroughly impressed by this hidden gem. Good vibes and good food close to home we will definitely be back.

Amazingggg crepes and service! The crepes are massive at 14 inches. This place is located in the plaza right by the gas station. Parking was a bit tricky at night bc there were food trucks in the plaza lot, however there are some spots in that lot. Tons of seating inside, and it was poppin' on a Friday night. Perfect spot for late night dessert because they open til late. The owner was also so friendly. The pizza crepe sounded really interesting, but we stuck with the dessert crepes. We also sampled the strawberry horchata which was so good! I've never seen so many horchata flavors. It was slightly on the sweet side so I'm not sure if I could finish a cup, but if you like sweet drinks you will love it!

    Daniel L.

A small business with nice service. We got the chocoflan crepe and a regular horchata. Both are extremely sweet. They are very very very sweet. It's so sweet it could cause dka in a healthy adult (obvious exaggeration). The honey doesn't really harmonize with the other flavors and the chocoflan is not great. I've had better chocolate cake and better flan. The crepe is nothing special. I've had much better in places specializing in it in CA. The horchata is very creamy and sweet. I could not finish it. Honestly, you might like the place if you have a sweet mouth.

Found this place on yelp and thought to give it a try. Location is a little strange because it's a back corner of the parking lot, but the inside of the establishment is very full of life and color! They also have other small businesses advertised in there and sell some things like jewelry, crafts, etc. We tried the classic crepe and it was amazing!! Wait was not very long and you can choose to-go or dine in. They were very friendly and helpful the second we stepped in. I will definitely be coming here again!

Wow what a hidden gem. Popped in after an event at the colosseum. Had a custom crepe and went next door for a hibachi burrito. Will definitely be back. Fresh and delicious

I can't speak on the customer service as we never left our table and our waited just walked over and got what we needed. We were pretty stuffed from our massive meal, but we decided on sharing a cup of gelato just to satisfy our sweet tooth. I peeked inside as our table was right at a little walkway from the restaurant to the bakery. Gelato is just one of many things they serve here. They also have all your typical Italian desserts. Cakes like tiramisu, pastries like Italian flag cookies, cookies like Italian wedding cookies, cannolis of different varieties, and of course gelato. What was suggested to us if we wanted gelato was the hazelnut flavor. I was expecting a little cup for the 6 of us just to get a taste, but what he brought over was a massive serving. I don't know how many scoops it was or even how much we even paid, but we all got plenty with some even left behind. Now this gelato was life changing. Probably the best I've had in the states. I know it's gotta be way better in Italy, but I'll take what I can when I can. Think of a Ferrero Rocher but in gelato form. It was delicious and I couldn't get enough of it. It wasn't overly sweet and it had a little crunch with bits of chocolate and hazelnuts. My sweet tooth was extremely satisfied after having dessert here. I have literally been thinking about that gelato since I left Phoenix. Luckily this company has locations in Texas so I will definitely be seeking out this gelato soon.

As a born and raised New Yorker, I take food very seriously... and Italian pastries even more so…read more Just before Christmas, I was traveling from New Yawk (visiting my parents) back to Phoenix to attend a family dinner at my partner's parent's home in Scottsdale. While I was still in NYC with my family on XMas eve eve, it hit me... I need to bring something besides wine everytime I go to their home. Nor a Southern dish. I wanted something unapologetically New Yaek. And what's more New Yawk than a box of classic Italian cookies? After asking a few Yelp friends where to find the best Italian cookies in Phoenix, The Sicilian Baker kept coming up. I called them last minute on Christmas Eve eve, having never been there before, totally sight unseen. First of all, their voicemail is hilarious. Truly. If you do nothing else, call just to hear it. It will instantly make you want to order something. Once I reached a real person, I explained my situation, that I wouldn't be able to come in beforehand, I needed a beautiful cookie tray for about 14-16 people, and I had a few must have preferences. Without hesitation, they said, "We got you." I was assured it would be ready when I landed on Xmas eve. Sure enough, after my partner picked me up from the airport, we headed straight to The Sicilian Baker. Parking right out front, a huge plus. As soon as you pull in, you're greeted with Frank Sinatra playing, not just inside, but even in the parking lot. It sets the tone immediately. We walked in, gave my name, and within minutes a lovely young person brought out my tray. Ten minutes later, we were on our way. Easy. Efficient. Warm service that made me actually grab a small box of cookies to drop my besties home on the way outta there. I didn't even realize at first that there's a sit down restaurant next door where you can relax and enjoy something. Great to know for next time ;) . Now, let's talk about the cookies. Yes, they are on the pricier side, but every single dollar was worth it. The tray was robust. Classic Italian pastries across the board like lobster tails, tri-colored almond cakes, cannolis, and all the favorites you hope for when you're trying to impress a room full of potential inlaws. And impress it did. The moment I walked in with that tray, it was a hit. People were already claiming which pastries they wanted, plotting what they'd take home, and hovering before dinner was even finished. There was more than enough for 16 people, grand is the only word for it, which is my style 1,000%. To this day, they're still talking about those cookies which makes me phenomenally proud (and humbled). I say this in all my reviews, "I hate almost everything. I'm discerning. I'm critical. And when something truly represents what I stand for - quality, authenticity, and heart, I will shout it from the rooftops". The Sicilian Baker delivered New York level excellence in Phoenix! Do not walk, runswiftly to this place if you need a gift, a show stopping dessert, or simply want to treat yourself. I cannot wait to go back. Highly, highly recommended.

It's smooth, rich without being too heavy, and the flavor actually develops as you eat it instead of just being one-note sweet. You can tell they take this part seriously. Leave it outside the fridge for an hour and watch that cheesecake melt on your tongue crystals (if you have the patience for that) Their rotating monthly flavors keeps things interesting, and you're not just stuck with the same lineup every time. Out of what I tried, the banana pudding one was easily a standout--super nostalgic, creamy, and just done right without being overly sweet. The coconut one was also up there, more subtle but still really clean and flavorful. Love me some coconut! They also have a punch card system--buy 9 slices, get the 10th free--which is a nice touch. It lowkey turns into a mission because once you've tried one flavor, you kinda want to work your way through all of them anyway. Now...the downside. The customer service just isn't great. It's not aggressive or anything, just noticeably lacking. There's not much warmth or engagement--it feels pretty transactional. For a place that clearly puts effort into their product, you'd expect at least a baseline level of hospitality, and it's just not really there. So overall, if you're going to Banhams, go for the cheesecake. The rotating flavors keep it fresh, the quality is legit, and it's definitely worth trying. Just don't expect much from the service side, and you'll enjoy it a lot more.
