I really wanted to give this place a 5. Lynn was really sweet and patient with answering all of my questions! Very quaint storefront, with ample parking in the lot. I do appreciate the variety of offerings, but was surprised to see a pumpkin cheesecake available but not pumpkin pie! I got a Franken-pie and was disappointed that the apple pie was one of the worst slices out of the bunch, right along with the blueberry pina colada. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement. I went in right before closing and chose 3 pie slices: blackberry, banana cream, and peach. The banana cream was underwhelming and didn't have that creamy feel. The peach was awful and tasted more like ginger. Next day, what was leftover, went bad and had to be thrown out. The blackberry had to be thrown out as well as it went bday. Literally next morning. $22.50 for 3 slices before tax is quite a bit, and for it to be bad is a travesty. How they have so many good ratings is beyond me. Maybe going in the morning makes a difference instead of 6:30pm. read more

Pie Snob is a small establishment that sells, you guessed it, pies. They've got over 15 different flavors. They also sell ice cream and gelato. They even sell coffees at $2 which is way cheaper than any other place I know that sells coffee. Our group decided to try 3 different slices and a large coffee which cost $23.45. We had a key lime, razzleberry, and peanut butter cream pies. For a picky eater like myself, I was surprised that I enjoyed all 3 flavors. The razzleberry was my favorite as it was packed full of flavor. The crust was so tasty too. This is definitely a spot worth trying if you're into pies. read more

Ordered two pies online to pickup the day before day: a banana cream and a rhubarb strawberry. The rhubarb strawberry was excellent, both filling and crust. (I recommend lightly nuking a slice, and putting vanilla ice cream on top.) The banana cream had lots of cream, but not enough bananas, at least per my expectations. Every pie is so darn tasty; it's impossible to pick the best one. Every pie tasted fresh and fruity ones had lots of chunky fruit. Sweetness level was spot on, not too sweet yet sweet enough to be satisfying. It's going to be difficult to stay away from here especially when they have 3 locations in the valley. I came in here a little while ago, after reading all the good reviews. It was out of my way, especially during commute traffic, but in the end, totally worth it. First off, it's a small shop, and I was pleased to see I could get slices or whole pies. Very clean and cute shop! The second thing I noticed was the pies all looked... how can I put it... home made? Like... many of them looked a little sloppy on top. Like how a pie might look if I personally made it. And this did make me wary, but I bought a fruit pie and took it to my friend's house and we ate it and it was AMAZING! In fact, it tasted like a home made pie too! And I mean that in the best possible way. I would 100% return here, even though I it felt a little pricy. Halloween weekend is my weekend of fun, food, desserts, pool time, and everything scary. I was in need of a dessert since I've been craving it lately (& still do). My bestie lives in Arcadia, AZ so I wanted something that was less than 5 minutes away drive time and low and behold this awesome place was just around the corner from where she lives! The parking lot area was really full and the spaces aren't so big so I had to park a little far because my bestie's car is technically a boat on wheels. The name of the store is super cute and so was the inside. Friendly people and cute decorations. From the wall to the pies everything was fun. I chose a key lime pie. It was reasonably priced at $6.50 a slice. If you go online www.piesnob.com they have a weekly menu and a monthly menu. Obviously for Halloween month most of the pies had a pumpkin face design. I definitely suggest others to go because that slize was insanely delicious. I almost felt guilty that I didn't get my bestie a slice but she lives 5 mins away and she can get her own! I had heard about this place for years, and finally got a chance to stop by and try it. I went with my buddy, and we got a couple of slices of pie ($6.50 each slice). I got a caramel apple slice, and he went with a cherry slice and a chocolate cream slice. Had a bite of his 2 and they were legit! He loved them! My caramel apple slice was insanely good! Pies are awesome but yikes-the pre order service is set up backwards. Purposely pre ordered pies for thanksgiving so it would be an easy, seamless pick up and it wasn't that at all. Showed up today to two long lines all the way out in the road/parking lot. One line is apparently for last minute customers that did not pre order and one for the pre order customers. The last minute line went extremely fast and the people in the line that took the time to go online and pre order weeks/months in advance were left waiting for over 35 mins. My personal quest for pie that tastes like homemade led me to Pie Snob. My go to is Piefection, but I found myself in the area and so stopped in at Pie Snob. It can be a little hard to find as the small lot it is in can be difficult to spot with all the bigger signs and businesses on Indian School road. I did have to turn around a go back as I had missed it even using GPS. It's a small storefront but they do have a selection of pies. They do recommend calling ahead 2 days if you want to guarantee yo get a whole pie of your choice. The storefront is cute and parking was easy. Staff working weren't necessarily friendly, but they rang me up just fine. I ended up trying a slice of chocolate peanut butter pie. It was decent, but seemed pretty average to me. If I was nearby and someone wanted to stop, I'd probably try another slice, but I don't know that I would necessarily plan to return. Am I the snob? We decided on a couple pieces of pie, a cherry crumb pie, key lime, Carmel apple and red velvet cheesecake. Oh and the hubs got an Arnold Palmer to wash it down with. They said drinks were free on Sunday which was cool! It was $23 and change for the 4 pieces which is not bad. I really was excited for the Carmel apple but was kind of disappointed in it. The Carmel looked nice a drippy over the pie but it was hard. Maybe if I let it sit at room temperature for a bit it'll soften up? I'll try it and see. The red velvet cheesecake was BOMB! Creamy and cheesy with red velvet flavor and chocolate chips. It was delicious!! The cherry pie was fruity and lots of filling. It was our daughter's favorite. Overall, so excited to try this place out finally. I'm not gonna lie. I had no intention of coming to Pie Snob. Didn't even know this place existed. I actually drove from Peoria to Alaskan Pride a couple of doors down to get a piece of salmon. My favorite pie of all-time is Key Lime. I don't need to see anything. Gimme one of those mini key lime pies, puh-leeeeeeeze! We were immediately greeted when we walked inside and I was far too mesmerized by the display case to respond eloquently, but anyway... Hi. How are you? How is your day? Sorry I did not respond when you asked me earlier this afternoon. The employee packaged up my mini key lime (sorry, I can't recall your name!) I basically tore into this pie after dinner tonight and it was nothing short of spectacular. The crust was crumbly and flavorful. The key lime center melted in my mouth. Definitely a great key lime flavor without being overbearing. The whipped cream topping was creamy and also flavorful which helped offset the tangy-ness of the key lime. All in all, one of the better key lime pies I've had. My only regret is that I did not get a second one. Dammit! I am incredibly thankful this place was next door to the shop I originally came to visit! If you're in the need of a fancy dessert or just a pie lover like myself, I'd HIGHLY recommend you make the trip over to Pie Snob! No really. Seriously. You should go get some pie. I know. I ended up gong with Key Lime for my friend, and s'mores and peanut butter cheesecake for me (I shared). All of them were pretty darn good. I will say the only slightly disappointing part was the small piece of s'mores pie for the price. It also didn't taste good the next day. I recommend eating that one ASAP, day of purchase. I ordered a few mini pies a week in advance. The confirmation email stated they would email me when my order was ready. I called the store to say I had no email saying it was ready, but they verified it was indeed ready. I thought the mini pies would be individually boxed in clear clamshells, but they just put them in a big cardboard pie box. I bought two Boston crème pies, and two blueberry cheesecakes, mini pies on all. I didn't care for the extra cake added into the mini pie. Pie should be pie. Not pie-cake. It was a let down. They are adding height to the pie tin but it's not a pie. Their full size blueberry cheesecakes are excellent, FYI. They weigh the size of a one month old baby.
