Let me preface this by saying, I am not a coffee drinker, it is never my first choice of beverage, it isn't even my top five! Now, this morning I had an unexpected invite to this "window coffee place" and since I had the open availability in my schedule and was needing to continue my meeting with my client, it was only a five minute drive, so sure why not. Thinking no biggie I can grab something small, and if I don't like it no sweat off my back its a "work" meeting. So I enter this small coffee establishment, the lighting was bright, the decor was pleasing, and the smell was delicious. I look at the menu and immediately see "cookie machiatto" and so I figure sure why not, grabbed a small (again not a coffee drinker) I let the wonderful gentleman behind the counter know "I like all the Carmel drinks". So he lets me know if I need it sweeter to just let them know they can add more. So I sit down, but started chatting for a good 10 minutes before I take my first sip! Let me tell you, my eyes were huge I immediately said loud enough for the two gentlemen behind the counter to hear, "oh my god this is delicious and I hate coffee". Seriously, I cannot sing the praises of this place loud enough. The flavor was smooth, sweet, with only the slight "bitter" coffee taste. It was fresh, creamy, the only negative I can say is I wish I would have gotten a large!!! I drank the entire thing, did not leave a drop! This is the perfect place for experienced coffee drinkers, the occasional coffee drinker, and the newbie!!! I will definitely be back, will get a large, and maybe try one of their other treats that sell. This place just might make a coffee drinker out of me yet!!! In Phoenix for business and happened to be staying in Tempe. Window Coffee Bar is almost literally across the street from my room rental but it took me three days to actually make it over there due to my working hours. The patience was worth it! Very welcoming space in an enormous lobby, and easy to access. Chairs, sofas, bartops, tables... the seating choices are endless. Well lit, with a security guard tucked away to keep watch. The menu is straightforward, all the expected coffee choices, and a more extensive food selection than I'd anticipated. I chose to combine the avocado toast and substitute the toast for an everything bagel. They asked if I'd like chili flakes on that and... of course! The cappuccino was excellent, with dense, stiff foam, deep flavor, and perfectly portioned. The avocado bagel was phenomenal, with good, chunky avocado, spread thick on a buttered and toasted bagel. Plenty enough to spread along both sides and have a bit left over. The flow of customers was steady and they worked through all of the orders quickly and efficiently... really could not ask for a better quick coffee breakfast experience. read more

1 star for the coffee. 1 star for the ambience. -3 stars for the customer service. I heard great things about this place. So when I was in the area, I thought I would give it a try. Whoever the Tom Selleck/Omni man mustache guy working the counter was rude as hell. My friend ordered a coffee, black, medium. He must get asked for a medium alot. Cause right off the bat with attitude. He said with a tone "We only have small or large!" Went with the small. I ordered and Americano. Usually when i go to a place the first time. I always tell the people behind the counter to make it how it was intended for here. Because if this place is #1 in the valley for coffee, i want to try it before i start telling them to add this or that. So I'm assuming if i asked for an Americano, it'll just be made. He gives me look and says with a tone "hot or iced?" I said "oh my bad. Iced please." Then after I pick my size cup. He looks at me asking me how would I like it. I tell him just how it's supposed to be, no modifications. Just your basic Americano. Now he gives me a look with his arms out and he says all snarky "you want 2% in it?" I said "that's fine." I paid for the drinks. And when I said "thank you." He didn't even bother to look up from whatever he was cleaning to barely say "you're welcome." The look of the place and the music they were playing was cool. I tried to sit an enjoy my coffee. But I was irritated with the service so I left. Maybe I will go try that place another day. Popped in here on a friday morning and it was fairly busy! Was greeted as I walked in and a kind gentleman asked me if I'd been in before and I let him know it was my first time. He walked me through their signature lattes and what they can do (they can pretty much do anything, even make your drink sweeter or less sweet depending on your preference!) Opted for an iced 'burnt creme' latte with oat milk. They have small or large for their sizes and they are greatly priced in my opinion. Before I knew it, my drink was ready as I grabbed an open seat near the cashier area. Lots of seating + few outlets if you want to bring your laptop and get some work done. The drink was perfect, had that strong coffee taste but that sweetness that balanced it all out. Sat there and enjoyed the music they were playing and relaxed. All of the staff were nice and had smiles! Bathrooms were clean as well! Lots of parking around them, would be great to meet up with friends or even a date! A friend recently saw Window Coffee Bar featured on tv, so we went to try them. The employees are very friendly and patient. Ordered coffee and avocado toast with heirloom tomatoes and micro greens. The toast was delicious. Coffee even better. I tried their Aztec mocha and it was spot on. Not too sweet, and very satisfying. My friend tried their banana cream and it was even better. The staff (and I believe I've talked to the owners lots) are always friendly, I love that they walk your drink to you when able--It really goes a long way. I was in Phoenix and made a stop here at the Window Coffee Bar. This is a nice coffee shop. Window Coffee Bar has a couple of locations in the Valley. This location off of Camelback has a drive-thru and looks like it was once a location for a bank. I enjoyed the décor with the neon sign and how inviting the place was when I walked in. I was salivating over the pastries behind the glass as I was ordering my latte and ended up getting one. The customer service was friendly. I ordered a Burnt Creme Latte and Fruit Danish and sat by the window so I could enjoy the view. I don't typically order flavored drinks, but the Burnt Creme Latte intrigued me. Loved my first visit here! The space is modern, stylish, and had a great fall playlist that set the vibe. Even though it was busy, the cashier was super friendly and gave helpful recommendations. Incredible vibes, friendly staff, unique yet amazing drinks. Not much more you could ask for from a coffee shop. I stopped by for the first time on a Sunday late afternoon looking for a pick-me up as I get some work done before the work-week starts the next day. They have a huge parking lot shared with an office in the same building, so if you enter through the side, make sure you don't walk into the other business' suite! Browsing their menu ahead of time, I was interested in their signature latte "Burnt Creme" as I'm usually a sweet coffee person. Upon entering, I saw signs for the "Chaga mushroom" which is an earthy-mocha tasting signature latte with 3/10 sweetness. I discussed with my barista my interest in the Burnt Creme, which I was told is 5/10 sweetness. Ultimately, the kind staff recommended adding burnt creme to my chaga latte to make it sweeter. They were also willing to revise/remake my latte if it ultimately didn't come out to my sweetness liking, which I found to be very accommodating especially to a first time customer like myself. The latte was like nothing I've ever had before. It was strong but sweet enough. I could taste both hints of earthy and burnt flavors, which paired very well together. I brought my laptop to do work for a few hours, which I was able to acheive with their free wifi and ample seating, efficiently using the relatively small space very well. The interior design is also calming but cool!!! Overall, I was very impressed with their unique and vast selection of drinks. I will definitely recommend this coffee shop to friends and be back to try more drinks, including the Lotus Energy, Burnt Creme by itself, Marshmellow, and Pistachio! This coffee shop had me at the orange aesthetic (my fav color) and then completely won me over with the flavors. I ordered the Burnt Cream iced latte, which tasted like a rich crème brûlée in drink form. Smooth, not too sweet, and perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. Even though I wasn't planning on pastries, the pop-tart-style tarts caught my eye, and I couldn't resist grabbing the raspberry prickly pear and cinnamon. I was looking for a place that has tea and or coffee ( I don't like coffee but most places usually have teas.) before a baby shower. I think it's so cool they have a drive thru - I wish this was on my way to work on the mornings! It's been a while since I left a review here. I wanted to come here and commend this shop for all their hard work at maintaining a well ran shop and providing a safe space for the surrounding community. From the moment you open the door, the team happily greets you and makes you feel welcome. No wonder they have been getting the national recognition they have for the last few years. There are lots of regular and first time customers each time I'm there. The team takes the time to learn their customers taste and try to give a proper recommendation. I was browsing Yelp for good coffee shops in the Phoenix area, and Window Coffee Bar came up. Now I can see why they are No. 6 in the nation as of last year. The first time I visited Window Coffee Bar was on March 29th this year. One of my closest friends and I were heading to Parker, Arizona, and decided we needed some coffee to kick-start the day. The workers are some of the nicest people I have ever met. From the first visit, I could tell how much they cared about everyone having a great experience in their shop. On a separate visit, one worker offered me a cup of water without me asking. I accepted the offer, and he handed it to me with a flourish. They are always making sure I have everything I need and asking if I ever need anything else. I have had seven different lattes there, and every single one of them has been a hit. The first latte I had (burnt cream) is also one of their most popular menu items. Another one I enjoyed is the cookie macchiato. Another thing I like about Window Coffee Bar is that they get their pastries from local bakers. Their cinnamon rolls and fruit danishes are delicious. I have yet to try their tarts, so I will definitely have to try them in the future. I also appreciate the modern and clean atmosphere. This is my new favorite local coffee shop, for a couple reasons. I've always been more of a "snooty hipster" coffee person, and window caters more to a flavored + large beverage audience, but the things that seal the deal for me are: Excellent service, supportive atmosphere (they have local art hanging, activist flyers), and not too busy. So I've left a review on their Melrose location about their delicious coffee and tea offerings, but today, it's going to be about the service! I had already over-caffeinated earlier in the day, but found myself nearby and hungry. I remember that Bagelfeld's supplies them daily, so dropped in at 1pm, hoping for more flavors than just plain to be still be available. I was in luck! They still had everything and jalapeño cheddar! Service is above 5 starts. The staff are incredible here. The way they communicate to one another, always checking in with each other. Picking up scraps from tables and wiping spaces down. The brightest smiles and follow ups of "How is everything??". As the lines got long, an additional barista went down the lines (Dutch Bros Style) to take orders. Between food and drink orders, the waits were less than 5 minutes. I watched a barista go into the bathroom to clean it when I first got there and noticed him go back again right before we left.
