burnt creme with oat milk (large)
Theresa S.

Popped in here on a friday morning and it was fairly busy! Was greeted as I walked in and a kind gentleman asked me if I'd been in before and I let him know it was my first time. He walked me through their signature lattes and what they can do (they can pretty much do anything, even make your drink sweeter or less sweet depending on your preference!) Opted for an iced 'burnt creme' latte with oat milk. They have small or large for their sizes and they are greatly priced in my opinion. Before I knew it, my drink was ready as I grabbed an open seat near the cashier area. Lots of seating + few outlets if you want to bring your laptop and get some work done. The drink was perfect, had that strong coffee taste but that sweetness that balanced it all out. Sat there and enjoyed the music they were playing and relaxed. All of the staff were nice and had smiles! Bathrooms were clean as well! Lots of parking around them, would be great to meet up with friends or even a date! Will most definitely be back to try more of their menu + food items.

Avocado toast with heirloom tomatoes and microgreens

A friend recently saw Window Coffee Bar featured on tv, so we went to try them. The employees are very friendly and patient. Ordered coffee and avocado toast with heirloom tomatoes and micro greens. The toast was delicious. Coffee even better. I tried their Aztec mocha and it was spot on. Not too sweet, and very satisfying. My friend tried their banana cream and it was even better. They had comfy seating inside and large patio too. Will be back to try more things. Highly recommend!!

Large americano and large matcha latte

Really friendly staff here. They greet you with a smile and gave you your drink with great energy. I wanted matcha latte and they've got two options. One regular (slightly sweet) and one ceremonial grade (unsweetened). I'm not fussy about matcha so I opted for the regular one which hits the spot. Black Americano is fine. It does the job! Spent around $11.5 for two large drinks which is a bit on the pricier side but it came in big cups!

AMAZING coffee (from a coffee snob)! I got banana cream with 3 shots and oat milk. It was delicious! The inside is very cute and clean, and the service is top tear. I'm from Seattle, so coffee is my life! I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town.

Cute cafe ! Love their pastries and the coffee was not bad. Their burnt cream latte was good but the ube taro latte was a bit watered down.

Coffee shop with a drive thru that provides quick and friendly service. I ordered a large pistachio latte with oatmilk and it was good. The drink was well balanced and it included crushed pistachios in it. The pistachio flavor was pronounced but not overwhelming, and the coffee was strong. This is a good option for anyone in the area that needs to grab coffee and go without getting out of the car.

Entrance - The image shows an outdoor seating area with two orange tables and matching chairs on a concrete surface. A large potted plant is positioned near the brick wall, which has a glass door leading into a building. There is a trash can and a small white stool near the door, with a signboard on a stand visible in the background. The setting appears to be part of a commercial establishment, possibly a cafe or restaurant.

I was in Phoenix and made a stop here at the Window Coffee Bar. This is a nice coffee shop. Window Coffee Bar has a couple of locations in the Valley. This location off of Camelback has a drive-thru and looks like it was once a location for a bank. I enjoyed the décor with the neon sign and how inviting the place was when I walked in. I was salivating over the pastries behind the glass as I was ordering my latte and ended up getting one. The customer service was friendly. I ordered a Burnt Creme Latte and Fruit Danish and sat by the window so I could enjoy the view. I don't typically order flavored drinks, but the Burnt Creme Latte intrigued me. I wasn't too impressed by it but really enjoyed my pastry. Overall, I had a nice relaxing time here at Window Coffee and look forward to another visit.

Avocado Toast, Matcha Latte, Loutus Tea

Loved my first visit here! The space is modern, stylish, and had a great fall playlist that set the vibe. Even though it was busy, the cashier was super friendly and gave helpful recommendations. I ordered the avocado toast (amazing!) and their house-blend matcha latte--so good. I also grabbed a seat to get some laptop work done, and the free WiFi plus plenty of outlets made it super convenient. It does fill up quickly, so if you're planning to work here, I'd recommend showing up a little earlier. Now I totally see why this spot is such a favorite for both the food and the work-friendly atmosphere!

Large chaga mushroom latte

Incredible vibes, friendly staff, unique yet amazing drinks. Not much more you could ask for from a coffee shop. I stopped by for the first time on a Sunday late afternoon looking for a pick-me up as I get some work done before the work-week starts the next day. They have a huge parking lot shared with an office in the same building, so if you enter through the side, make sure you don't walk into the other business' suite! Browsing their menu ahead of time, I was interested in their signature latte "Burnt Creme" as I'm usually a sweet coffee person. Upon entering, I saw signs for the "Chaga mushroom" which is an earthy-mocha tasting signature latte with 3/10 sweetness. I discussed with my barista my interest in the Burnt Creme, which I was told is 5/10 sweetness. Ultimately, the kind staff recommended adding burnt creme to my chaga latte to make it sweeter. They were also willing to revise/remake my latte if it ultimately didn't come out to my sweetness liking, which I found to be very accommodating especially to a first time customer like myself. The latte was like nothing I've ever had before. It was strong but sweet enough. I could taste both hints of earthy and burnt flavors, which paired very well together. I brought my laptop to do work for a few hours, which I was able to acheive with their free wifi and ample seating, efficiently using the relatively small space very well. The interior design is also calming but cool!!! Overall, I was very impressed with their unique and vast selection of drinks. I will definitely recommend this coffee shop to friends and be back to try more drinks, including the Lotus Energy, Burnt Creme by itself, Marshmellow, and Pistachio! Thank you Window Coffee Bar for taking such good care of me and my taste buds on this fine Sunday afternoon! Addendum: reading other reviews while writing mine, I was both surprised and not surprised that this place ranked 6th in the top 25 coffee shops in the nation per Yelp 2024. I ordered ahead online and walked right in to let them know that I had arrived and they promptly made my drink and brought it to me. After trying a handful of other coffee shops and not finding good coffee, I finally found good coffee here. Extremely clean inside and very friendly baristas. Espresso, milk, and flavor of my mocha were on point.

The first time I came to Window Coffee, they were SO kind. The 2nd time? Even kinder. The 3rd time? If you can believe it, KINDER. They are so remarkably polite and welcoming (not scary like Dutch Bros.), just genuinely polite. The coffee is also absolutely delicious as is the lemonade and the pastries are never old or dry. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Avocado toast with microgreens

Second time here, and oooh this place really doesn't disappoint! I came here first thing in the morning because I had an early doctors appt nearby. Every single staff was so friendly, gave me different suggestions on which coffee to get and I picked the banana bread. It was creamy and sweet but not overly sweet! The avocado toast was pretty substantial as well. Loved the touch of micro greens. The atmosphere is top notch, it has a cute soft color palette but with neon signs. Overall top coffee shop in Phoenix in my opinion!

This coffee jaunt is beautiful with an industrial open loft feel where the air ducts in the ceiling show. Roofing is so last year! It's also a furniture store and a private office space so 4-8 people are in the back working on laptops in a forest of houseplants. It took me 7-8 min to find the restroom, and figure out where that's at. Tiny tiny white door next to the sign door that says Employees Only ! Anyway the place is cute big and spacious. Everyone there had a laptop so I felt odd just relaxing. I'll bring my laptop and work on all my homework next time. It's quiet w a bit of easy listening music piping through. If I could give a place 10*s, Lux has more than earned the title…read more Cool space coffee shops are definitely a thing in Phoenix lately--but Lux was the "design-genius-with-a-latte-machine" long before coffee shops were even a thing here. I've been frequenting this architectural marvel for over 10 years. While so many new shops try to mimic this vibe, none of them are Lux. Lux is King! The 11-Year Flashback: I looked back at my review from 11 years ago when I docked them a star for the "nightmare parking." Back then, I was a "to-go" only person who never envisioned myself as a laptop-hipster hanging out. Well, times change! I'm bumping them up to 5 stars now. Maybe it's the new competition nearby or my better timing, but the parking is a breeze, and I've officially embraced the "comfy chair" lifestyle. The "Cheers" Factor: What really sets this place apart is the people. After a decade of visits, it truly feels like Cheers--where everybody knows my name! Getting to know the folks behind the counter makes every visit feel like coming home. The Sip of the Night: I shifted from my usual plain Cappuccino as my target drink to include in a review to feature their Espresso Martini. I went with a Reposado base instead of the typical vodka, and it was stellar. With two full bars in addition to the coffee and pastry bar, craft drinks truly abound here! (Note: they have an amazing cappuccino too) The Comfort Classics: You cannot leave without the food. My go-to favorites? The Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese and the legendary Chocolate Chip or Red Velvet cookies. Return Factor: 100% I've been coming here for a decade, and it's still the gold standard. As I said in my review 11 years ago: "I see a book, comfy chair and cocktail in my future! Stumble home... Repeat." Still true today! #PHXCoffeeShopTour #1CupAtATime #LuxCentral #PhoenixOriginal #EspressoMartini #FlashbackReview
