I would like to know the ratio that is used.. matcha is very weak or quality is off. 6.5$Earl grey matcha tasted more of earl grey but it's subtly smooth. 6$Matcha oat latte is very weak. My matcha at home is more stronger (3-4g/6g) it's nice that I've tried now but I wouldn't recommend for strong matcha lovers. The price is not bad for a latte 6/6.5$ maybe better than most "coffee" shops Everyone is super friendly and service was fast. Had a quick browse of the rest of the store and my drink was done. read more

Absolutely delicious matcha. Got the u be matcha latte with oat milk. I also love how they have the real maple syrup to sweeten as you like! Indigo room looks like a little house on the corner and is also part of a cute thrift store called urban collective where I found some goodies while I waited for my drink. Such a cute little house. It's on the corner in a neighborhood where you have to park, so be aware of the houses. Right away we were greeted by staff and everyone was so friendly. There's tons of antique and thrifting to do here so you can peruse while waiting on your drinks. There's also a bathroom and seating. I ordered the ube matcha. It was yummy. read more

Indigo coffee room is a 8/10! We got a coffee and matcha and asked the barista what the most popular specials were and I tried the Cardamon latte with whole milk. The syrup wasn't overpowering the drink. This shop is inside of Urban collective so there's also plenty of vintage shopping to do while you sip on your drink read more

I come to indigo room regularly to get their old grey Matcha and it's sooo good!! They introduced me to Earl Grey Matcha when I found them over a year ago and now I'm addicted and haven't found anything that compares other than the one that I learned to make at home. My only complaint is that I don't feel that their Matcha is strong enough. I'm not sure how many grams they use, but I prefer it a little stronger. My friend ordered their Ube Matcha and said that it was delicious, but the flavor was a little overpowering and she couldn't really taste the matcha. Their drinks are pretty reasonably priced compared to other matches in the area. The shop itself is small, but they have cute outdoor seating and a small antique store for you to shop around in. This is one of my regular spots, and I recommended to everyone! read more

Hands down the best ube latte around - and this was my third visit in one month, which says a lot! I originally found this spot on TikTok, and it's quickly become one of my favorite coffee shops in Phoenix. The ube latte is what pulled me in, and I haven't been able to order anything else since! It's consistently fantastic: smooth and balanced, not overly sweet, with rich coffee flavor, earthy ube, and just the right touch of sweetness from the condensed milk. If you're an ube fan, this drink alone is worth the trip. The shop itself is also part of the charm. It's tucked inside a small old house, so it's easy to miss - but once you're inside, it feels cozy and intentional. Even better, it doubles as a vintage shop, so you can browse unique antiques while waiting for your coffee, which makes the experience feel more like a leisurely stop than a quick caffeine run! Last time I was there I found a cute cactus bottle opener :) Service has been friendly and consistent every visit as well, and the overall vibe is warm and welcoming. Great little Cafe. It's attached to a little thrift store. It's quirky, fun and they make some great coffee out if their humble setup. There are a couple outdoor tables and also a little cozy indoor lounge area diagonal to the room you order in. Cortado was tasty and proper. Ube latte was also very tasty, not overly sweet and enjoyable! Batista were friendly and helpful while explain the latte flavor difference. read more

Wow! We have lived here for a year and can't believe we hadn't been to Indigo Room Coffee. The drinks were amazing, the matcha was fantastic quality. Their drinks come in 12 oz or 16 oz sizes at reasonable prices. I give their Ube Latte 3.5/5. The ube foam is light to medium in creaminess, and the coffee itself tastes pretty light to me. The Matcha Earl Grey gets a 3.5/5; they did a pretty good job with the Earl Grey, and it pairs nicely with the matcha. I just wish the matcha were slightly stronger! I would say matcha here is better than coffee if you are not sure what to try! The indoor space is quite narrow with limited seating. Parking can be a hassle since there are very few spots. The staff are super friendly, and my drinks were served quickly even when it was busy. I'll definitely visit again when they have new drinks! read more

Indigo Room popped up on my FYP on socials and had been calling my name since. They currently have limited hours, only being open Friday through Sunday. It ended up being the perfect spot to connect with my colleague for a morning caffeine fix and had been on both our Yelp bucket lists. It's located in a cool vintage shop called Urban Collective which is also an old home. You can go in the front or back door, but the backdoor leads you directly into Indigo Room. There is free street parking and a small lot in the back. The space itself is small and definitely limited on space, so not the best option to set up shop for work, or banking on getting seats to catch up with friends. It's really more of a drop by and go type of coffee option. They do have a few barstools, but they are right next to the register, so more for waiting. Then there are a few chairs in the front and back of the house as well. Hopefully this may change in the future, as one of my personal favorite things of checking out a new cafe is enjoying the atmosphere, but we were able to get the two chairs underneath the front patio, so it worked out! There was a small group huddled when we first walked in, so a bit chaotic when deciding what way the line goes and definitely a lot of squeezing by, but we got there! I went with a fan favorite, the earl gray matcha as well as their americano with cold foam. Both beverages were lovely. They make matcha the traditional way and the special matcha latte was very well balanced and a repeat in my books. I also really enjoyed my cold foam americano. The plastic cups they dish out are really unique and I thought a great branding touch. I really enjoyed my experience and my beverages. I got to connect with the owner Carter and his team, they were all so nice and I am really excited to see how this concept continues to grow! I think it's important to set the right expectations to enjoy the experience, especially as the social hype continues. It's a small shop, there may be a line and they are serving up quality beverages, so it takes a bit of time, so don't expect to necessarily be in and out. Visit them with the intention to support local, check out this new shop and enjoying the vintage shop while you wait. I'll definitely return if I find myself in the area and it's welcomed addition to the valley. read more

I've been dying to go to Indigo Room Coffee, and I finally went with my friend while we were in the area. First of all, this café is inside of a thrift/antique store, so don't make the same mistake I did and buy the drink before exploring because you will be setting your drink down a lot to look at the stuff there. There's not a lot of seating room, so this isn't really a place to do work or read. The staff were so sweet and friendly, and they gave great recommendations. I ordered a matcha with their seasonal cranberry syrup, and it was delicious. The matcha wasn't too sweet, it had that perfect earthiness, and the cranberry syrup gave it the perfect tartness. This is a great place to get a coffee (prices are what you would expect from a Phoenix café) and find a cool trinket to bring home. read more

This place has been bookmarked ever since they started showing up on my social media and we finally went after the hype died down. Maybe my expectations were too high, but the matcha was just okay. I ordered a small earl grey matcha and I am disappointed to say it was more milky than anything. It ended up having similar flavors to a london fog, and while I am not complaining because I love london fog, the matcha taste was barely there. My friend got their ube latte which she enjoyed, but the ube flavor was also faint. The branding is nice though! Tucked inside a very unique thrift shop inside of a house, I would definitely return for the vibes and maybe give their regular matcha latte a try. They have wifi and outlets so not a bad spot to get some work done, however it could get loud and crowded at times. read more

Heard of this spot from Tiktok - and as a matcha fanatic - I was impressed. The menu is small, but the quality is there. We had the matcha with some honey and an ube latte, both 10/10. We also had an espresso chocolate chip cookie which was a delicious little treat. Seating is limited, but I didn't expect a cafe experience here. If you're coming here it's moreso for the vibes and to roam around but not really to sit and chill as it can get crowded really quick! I got the early grey matcha latte w/ oatmilk and it was a solid 6.5/10. I appreciate the hand whisked matcha, good quality color as you can see! Super cool little coffee place inside of urban collective. They're only open Fri-Sun but hours aren't bad, 7-3! They have a couple cool specialty drinks and make some syrups in house. The earl grey matcha caught my eye so I got that iced with oat milk. My husband got an iced mocha. We did have to wait a bit for our drinks, it got kinda busy right after we got there. Service was good though and baristas were cool! I tried a little of my husband's mocha and liked it! The matcha was the perfect balance of earthy and sweet. I will say they do have limited drink sizes, only 12 or 16, so if you're wanting a big coffee that's something to be aware of! Really cool spot, I hope to come back soon! read more

WOW this place was amazing!!! nestled in a corner of a really eclectic historic-phoenix-home-turned-curated-vintage-shop, indigo room is such a treat! the matcha quality is great and the drinks are made with a preciseness that definitely highlights the familial love poured into the shop. the drinks take a little bit, but the urban collective is a lovely place to peruse. it's a quaint and intimate spot with an amazing vibe and the baristas are a joy. definitely recommend their matcha, and the ube latte -- as a filipino, i'm loving the incorporation of ube in both coffee and matcha drinks and they nailed it with the condensed milk! 10/10 read more

As I was arriving, it was a little difficult to pin where it was, there are signs but they could be missed. Upon walking in I was greeted with a very pleasant atmosphere. Between the Indigo Room and Urban Collective, it's a very fun place to walk and look around while you wait for your drinks! I ordered the Ube Latte and Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookie; both of which were delicious! The coffee wasn't overly sweet and coffee forward. Y'all actually have a good matcha and I don't play about my matcha... I've tried many cafes where people say the matcha is good and then I taste green milk. Indigo Room is GREAT and has REAL flavor to it, bro! I visited this spot for the first time over the weekend after seeing it on TikTok and was curious to check it out. It's a small setup tucked into the corner of a vintage store. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. When I walked in, no one greeted me. There were only two customers ahead of me, so it wasn't busy, but I still stood at the counter for about five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I originally came for their matcha--out of stock. Then I asked for a specialty drink listed on the menu--also out. I settled for the ube coffee and requested cold foam--again, unavailable. I tried to stay open-minded, hoping the one thing they did have would be great, but sadly it wasn't. The drink was small for the price (felt like a child's portion), and the flavor was bitter. When I went to get sweetener, the barista made a point to tell me it was already sweetened--okay, but it didn't taste that way. Overall, the visit was disappointing and felt like more style than substance. read more

So happy to have this new spot in the neighborhood! I can see all the love and energy put into the menu, space, and of course the drinks. Elite coffee matcha and cakes/pastries from a local baker. And the folks that run it are really cool and welcoming. I'm excited to come and bring a book or my computer for a little because their sitting/work space looked really nice. read more

I've been to other places that serve Kettl matcha, but none have tasted nearly as rich as Futuro's. The atmosphere itself is true to its name. It is futuristic, simple, and beautiful. It is full of unique art pieces of all types, and they sell their coffees and teas as well. I feel at peace inside and they always have vibey music playing at a perfect volume and incense lit. The service itself is one of a kind and makes me feel like I'm at a 5-star restaurant. They bring your items out on a beautiful tray and will always serve your drink with a cup of water on the side if you order it for here. They will even package your food up for you, which I would never expect from a coffee shop. It can be busy at times with a bit of a wait because the drinks are all made one at a time, but it's always worth the wait. The place isn't very big but has plenty of seating given the space. There is a restroom near the back entrance, and the start to the line to place an order is right near the front entrance. I saw in one of the comfy chairs while I waited for my former student to arrive. At that point, we moved to a regular table and then went and ordered drinks. She ordered a coffee, and I ordered a lemonade. We both enjoyed our drinks which were ready very quickly. There were smaller and larger tables, and there were also countertops along with business cards and marketing items at the back of the room on a thin table. Lola Coffee began with humble beginnings going back to 1992 with a cart, then Lux Coffee, and eventually Lola Coffee downtown. Now, there is even a second Lola Coffee location in Arcadia near 40th Street and Indian School. Today, they serve coffee, pastries, and breakfast. The Downtown Phoenix location hours are weekdays from 6:30 AM to 7 PM and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM. It's surprisingly large, filled with an eclectic mix of vintage treasures, unique décor, local finds, and so many little corners to explore. Whether you're a serious vintage collector or just love browsing for one-of-a-kind pieces, there's something here for every budget, with prices ranging from affordable finds to higher-end collectibles. Of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing a coffee. I ordered the cold brew, and it was exactly what I needed after school drop-off--smooth, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. The whole shop has such a creative, artsy vibe that makes you want to slow down and take your time exploring. It's the kind of place where you come in for a coffee and somehow end up staying much longer because there's always something interesting to discover. My son liked his sandwich and Americano as well. We enjoyed sitting outside, taking advantage of the lovely patio weather we had back in May. They have a complimentary water station which was a thoughtful touch.

Weeks later on a Saturday afternoon, I finally made the pilgrimage only to discover one of my new favorite coffee shops in Phoenix! There is limited curbside parking right out front (which I fortunately snagged without paying) and no parking lot I could see, but ample surrounding street parking nearby, including next to the librar,y less than a block away. I opted for the "Fan Fave" (on the small chalkboard to the left of the register that also lists available syrup,s including pumpkin spice, vanilla, honey, mocha, brown sugar, rose,and mint) "Brown Sugar + Vanilla + Cinnamon Latte". They offer 12oz and 16oz, and I opted for iced with light ice in a 16oz, which came out to $6.55 after tax! WOW! Given all the different flavors in this specialty drink, I was fully expecting to pay about ~$8 and round up to $10 with tip, like I usually do. My drink was delicious! From the perspective of a sweet tooth, I thought the brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon were an amazing combination, in a latte that did its job of giving me the energy boost I needed. I found the cinnamon to be a bit overpowering, but it gave the drink another dimension, which I appreciated. The ambiance and interior were so serene. They leave the front window open with seating, acting like a porch, and allowing the cool autumn air in. The soft sunlight prior to sunset also peaked through in between the nearby buildings. There is ample seating, with ample wall charging, and free wifi without a password. I found the elevated booths with high single/double tables to be super unique and not something I've ever seen at a coffee shop before. Overall, I love this coffee shop to death. My drink wasn't my favorite latte I've ever had, but it was definitely delicious and satisfying, especially for the price. Absolutely fell in love with this serene coffee shop upon my first visit and will definitely be back!

The matcha coconut cloud was refreshing, the perfect sweetness level, and the matcha flavor came through from the foam (which isn't always the case with this drink). The service was quick and the workers were nice. We ordered a matcha flight which comes with a banana cream matcha, strawberry cream matcha, and a coconut cream matcha. The quality seemed a bit inconsistent since the strawberry one was super strong and matcha forward whereas the coconut one had little to no matcha flavor and was predominantly coconut. There were also a few clumps in the drink but that didn't affect the texture too much. My favorite was definitely the strawberry since it was the strongest. The flight came in at a little over $20 (we got oat milk) which was quite pricey because the drinks were super small (probably the size of 1.5x a normal matcha) so we paid double the price for variety lol. I'm usually not in the area during business hours but today a friend and I visited in the morning. They have parking behind the building but the street was closed so we parked in a nearby lot. Skoden is inside Central Records so it's got a cool vibe to it. A few people were already there and a couple ordering ahead of us. I heard about their fundraiser and ordered their Diné tea affogato, made with Navajo tea ice cream and double shot espresso. I've always wanted to try affogato and today was the day. I also ordered their mini blue corn donuts with berry glaze (6 for $4) because they're very good. And I got one of their cute stickers ($3). Service was friendly and welcoming. The affogato was pay as you can donation which is a nice touch. The espresso was strong but mixed with the ice cream was a good balance. I love that they use real cups and plates here, very eco friendly. There's also a water dispenser with reusable cups at the counter. The bathroom was cute with a cabinet plastered with cool stickers. This indigenous and queer women-owned business prioritizes community, well-being and anti-colonialism. They have done fundraisers for Palestine and for mutual aid and care about each other. Overall we enjoyed our time here and I def want to return!

The customer service is always friendly and they offer baked goods that are delicious. The cinnamon swirl slice is great. Our favorite are the sambusas which are a savory pastry filled with lentils.
