Lavender thyme latte with oat milk & tomato thyme tart from Chaconne - both delicious!
    Vivian H.

I love Peixoto coffee and visited with a friend here today! The lavender thyme latte with oat milk was delicious! They have ample seating inside and plenty of spots outside too. This Peixoto shares a space with Chaconne Patisserie and its located in the ASU building. Parking is a bit of a disaster around here, so be prepared for that. Overall, great coffee and would return when in the area.

I love Peixoto beans and so happy one is downtown now! We found some metered parking and walked a few blocks. It's easy to find and a beautiful building. Customer service was upbeat and friendly. We went with a buttered pumpkin latte and kettle corn latte with an ube cold foam the barista recommended. Drinks were made pretty quick despite how busy on a Saturday morning. Beans were perfect, drinks were not watered down and full of flavor. Seating is pretty limited as well. Overall, happy they're closer to home and will be stopping in again soon.

It is a busy, smaller spot, but i've always been acknowledged with kindness whenever i've been in here (all of twice). I got a pistachio matcha latte with pistachio cold foam. it was literally amazing. great if you like sweeter drinks but maybe not for you if you're a matcha snob. I wouldn't sit inside, it's busy and small but i'd sit outside if there was available space, but this would be a great spot to grab and go!

I had seen on social media that Peixoto opened up a new location in downtown Phoenix. I was able to visit on a random weekday, and wasn't surprised to see that they were quite busy. We were greeted promptly by the barista who was very friendly and answered out questions about some items on the menu. The space was very clean, bright, and airy. Not nearly as big/as much seating as their location at Agritopia, but still decent. Lots of bakery items that we didn't get to try this time. My cousin and I ended up getting the affogato which made for an excellent afternoon pick me up! The vanilla gelato was creamy and delicious and the espresso, strong. Overall, a great first visit!

Another great coffee addition to the Phoenix scene, and one that fits seamlessly into the creative heartbeat of the Roosevelt Arts District. Peixoto shares a warm, beautifully designed corner with Chaconne Patisserie in Downtown Phoenix - the perfect pairing combo for good coffee and good pastries! The space strikes a balance between lively and cozy. You can sit by the large windows for prime people-watching along the busy downtown streets, or tuck into one of the side tables for something quieter and more intimate. Julia Peixoto Peters grew up in a tiny town in southeastern Brazil, and she sources the beans used in her Phoenix, Chandler, and Gilbert shops directly from her family's coffee farm, which has been around since the late 1800s. Needless to say, this is not your average drive-thru drip coffee! As someone who doesn't handle caffeine well, I really appreciated the abundance of decaf options. Service was friendly, and the presentation was beautiful. Prices are a little steep, but what isn't nowadays? At least the quality certainly matches the cost. A quick note on logistics: save yourself a lap around the block. You don't need to enter the larger main building; just head to the corner of 7th St and Garfield and the entrance is right there. Plenty of metered parking in the area. All in all, a lovely spot for anyone seeking good coffee... or a touch of Brazilian heritage in the middle of Phoenix.

Peixoto has some of the best beans around. If you know you know. Woman owned. Family run coffee plantation in Brazil. The coffee is absolutely delicious. Six options of coffee were available- I ordered the family blend drip. Too bad, no free refills.

Very excited about this collaboration with pastries. I went during opening weekend. I ordered an iced matcha. It was good. It was too watery and I could taste the matcha flavor. Obviously they are known for their coffee but I'm not a coffee drinker. I like match and chai and there were options for both. Excited to try a chai next time. The line was long but everyone seemed friendly that worked there. The space they are in is cute and designed well. I understand the construction and intention flow of traffic but it can be hard to see it when you first walk in and when it's crowded.

Hallelujah!!! This is a dream collaboration for all coffee/tea lovers and pastry enthusiasts in central Phoenix! I no longer have to drive 35-40 minutes to Chandler or Scottsdale for these offerings! CP is a magnificent new space in DT Phoenix, housed in a fairly new ASU building. Peixoto and Chaconne are sharing the space, so they have 2 registers and ordering areas. It works well! The seasonal coffees and beautiful pastries are exactly what you can expect of these experts. Plenty of seating inside and outside! Light, airy and so welcoming! The baristas and bakery staff are very knowledgeable about their products. It's going to be so dangerous to be able to access Mark Chaconne's baked goods every day instead of just on market days now! FYI: parking is mostly on the street. There is a parking lot behind the building, but there is no validated parking. Coffee pro-tip: Peixoto is one of the few Valley coffee shops that makes a true 6 oz cappuccino!

    Cappuccino no foam?
    Jaleebi S.

I've been twice in the hope that the coffee would improve; sadly it has not. Today my cappuccino was lacking any foam and flavor for that matter. When my girlfriend politely asked for more, she was advised that it had the requisite 4 ounces of foam already. Thanks for the cappuccino lesson but I just wanted a properly made drink. Strike two.

    Pumpkin butter latte and croissant
    Vidhi P.

The place is nice to sit and work. It has a lot of sitting. Got the pumpkin butter latte and a croissant. The coffee was good. The croissant was just ok. For some reason it did not taste fresh. Over all nice place with quick service.

    Marissa K.

Grabbed a latte and a bag of coffee to go! Staff were very friendly and the energy in the building was great.

Good mocha. The pastries inside of the bakery are also very good. They have an indoor counter and a pick up window.

Peixoto Coffee is the new spot in downtown Phoenix, and it's already super busy since it just opened. It's really smart that they set up shop in the same location as Chaconne Patisserie because it makes for a fantastic dual spot to grab a pastry and a brew all at once. The service model is quick and straightforward: you place your order at the counter, and they'll call you when it's ready. Overall, this place is a great addition to Roosevelt Row.

Apparently the shop sources coffees and teas from local businesses. For example, coffees = Infusion Coffee Roasters in Tempe, loose leaf teas and chai = Maya Tea Company in Tucson, kombucha = Milly Moon Kombucha in Phoenix, and breakfast burritos = Lua Lua Catering. [Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.

I've been to other places that serve Kettl matcha, but none have tasted nearly as rich as Futuro's. The atmosphere itself is true to its name. It is futuristic, simple, and beautiful. The service itself is one of a kind and makes me feel like I'm at a 5-star restaurant. They bring your items out on a beautiful tray and will always serve your drink with a cup of water on the side if you order it for here. They will even package your food up for you, which I would never expect from a coffee shop. It can be busy at times with a bit of a wait because the drinks are all made one at a time, but it's always worth the wait. The place isn't very big but has plenty of seating given the space. For working from home, they do have wifi but limited outlets. Their pastries served from a local bakery are also delicious.

I saw in one of the comfy chairs while I waited for my former student to arrive. At that point, we moved to a regular table and then went and ordered drinks. She ordered a coffee, and I ordered a lemonade. We both enjoyed our drinks which were ready very quickly. There were smaller and larger tables, and there were also countertops along with business cards and marketing items at the back of the room on a thin table. Lola Coffee began with humble beginnings going back to 1992 with a cart, then Lux Coffee, and eventually Lola Coffee downtown. Now, there is even a second Lola Coffee location in Arcadia near 40th Street and Indian School. Today, they serve coffee, pastries, and breakfast. The Downtown Phoenix location hours are weekdays from 6:30 AM to 7 PM and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM. You can see their menu, history, photos, and more on their website (https://lolacoffeebarphx.com). While I had trouble choosing between a lemonade for a cold beverage or hot chocolate for a warm beverage, it's great they have so many options. Again, try them for drinks, breakfast, or pastries.
