LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this coffee spot! Don't typically make my way to Phoenix for much but when I do, I love finding hidden gems and this is one of them. Baristas, coffee, food, and vibes were on point. Ordered their horchata latte, which is only around for a little while, and it was perfect. They make their rice milk from scratch and the drink was delicious and not too sweet. Their fig toast was also tasty and would definitely try other items from their menu.
A cute little shop in the middle of a parking lot. The drinks were all a hit and I LOVE how unique they are. The cherry latte with cherry cold foam was gorgeous and delicious all in one. The Cafe' de Olla was so amazing. We were told that it would be kind of bitter and not as sweet but it was sweet and perfect. Definitely a 10/10 for the drinks. They only have to go cups, no for here cups to add to the aesthetic. The place is decorated really well and you can tell there's a lot of thought in it. The outdoors is so cute as well, there is a gate so that if you're with kids they stay in the cafe area and don't run into the parking lot. One negative I had was the smell in the coffee shop. I couldn't sit in there for long so I was happy that there was an outdoor seating area. It had a very strong and sharp smell. The only thing I could compare it to would be kitty litter. Another negative was the wait. Only one barista which I can understand and give slack to, but I didn't understand why people who ordered after me got their drinks before me if they were both coffees. Didn't make sense. But I don't regret coming here, the drinks were worth it in my opinion. Wish I could give a half star.

I ordered an iced tres leches latte with oatmilk and it was definitely on the sweeter side, but yummy. I also grabbed the GF banana nut muffin and it was delicious. Friendly staff and overall just a really nice spot to hang out or catch up with a friend!

The service was friendly. The menu consists of the coffee shop standards plus a lot of speciality and seasonal drinks. I was in the mood for something simple so I opted for an Americano with a bit of whole milk in it. Drink arrived promptly. Had a nice, mild flavor, did not have an acrid or bitter flavor on the back end. All in all, a nice Americano. N*joy!
Cute little coffee shop right off the 202 freeway! There is outdoor and indoor seating. Lots of options to choose from and if you can't decide the staff if friendly to answer any of your questions. The coffee is yummy and they also have refreshers to pick from. Would absolutely return again!
I met up with a friend here for coffee on a Sunday around 1130a and it was pretty slow, but it definitely picked up between then and 1230. The Mexican/southwestern themed decor is fun, and they offer indoor and outdoor seating. The drink menu is pretty simple, and they also offer pastries and breakfast sandwiches, tapas and other breakfast items. There were also some fall specials listed on a sign outside. I ended up ordering the pumpkin snickerdoodle cold foam cold brew and it was great! I can't wait to come back and try some of their food items!
This coffee shop is in a plaza with a pre school and other businesses. There is parking available and they have seating inside and outside/ their kitchen is right next to the shop and they have a few breakfast items. I tried their chilaquiles weigh barbacoa and a fried egg with green salsa. This was a very mild sauce. Not spicy at all and the meat was soft and cooked perfectly. The mazapan latte was very good. Not super sweet but just enough. You can also taste the espresso which I absolutely love. The staff was very kind and helpful. Will definitely be back
We love a female Latina owned business. This spot is hidden but if you know you know. I met with a friend for coffee around 9 and it was packed at 10. Great spot for catching up with friends, remote work, etc. the staff was so friendly and helped me with the menu. I got the mazapan iced and it was delicious, they even gave me one of the little cookies. My friend got a matcha. There is cute outdoor seating too
Been going to Deseo for 2 years now and we love this place! Our fave food is the El Paisano (although a tad spicy for me). This day we tried the Tacos de Papa, which was good and filling. Only comment is that we wish it was traditionally folded like an actual taco. The way it's folded made the potatoes spill out to the side. Otherwise the flavor was gooood! I always get the same coffee at all the places I go to (honey oatmilk latte). They make it pretty close to perfect! Not too sweet and not too milky. It's a small cottage and they have a very cute aesthetic. I love the art all around. But if you plan to sit down to enjoy your coffee or food, don't go during rush (lunch/ breakfast).

I also love they offer breakfast items like chilaquiles. The tables outside are super cute and plenty of space to sit and enjoy coffee. If you're in Phoenix area I definitely recommend. 10/10

Deseo is super cute inside and the food is delicious. My husband loved his empanadas and I wish I had ordered that too. My breakfast sandwich was good, but not exciting. He also really liked his drink (we both got the iced Canelita latte) but it was a tad on the sweet side for me. Overall I would come back but beware, this is truly a shack so the seating inside is really minimal. We were lucky and got seats at the counter but at times there were so many people waiting that it felt a little overwhelming. There is outdoor seating but not much shade.
My son and I were waiting for someone at the airport and had some time to kill, so we decided to check out Deseo Coffee Shack. There's a large parking lot, but I could see parking being a challenge during peak hours. The "shack" is charming and the interior is vibrant and inviting. Seating is limited inside but there's more outside. The staff was friendly and helpful. The menu had a variety of enticing options, but I went with the staff's recommendation of El Paisano sandwich and my son ordered the El Chicano sandwich. I also got an iced almond milk latte with honey and cinnamon powder and my son got an iced Americano. My El Paisano was very tasty. It usually comes with chorizo, but I requested it without. Without the chorizo, the only protein left is an egg, which isn't enough for me so I should have asked for an additional egg on my sandwich. My latte was solid. My son liked his sandwich and Americano as well. We enjoyed sitting outside, taking advantage of the lovely patio weather we had back in May. They have a complimentary water station which was a thoughtful touch. read more

Needed a coffee on our way to the botanical gardens and decided to stop by here. I realized after that I had it bookmarked already.. so it was meant to be! The inside is so cute!! There's also a nice patio area with some seating. They had so many unique latte options but I knew I had to get the chocolate covered strawberry. It was delicious!!! Definitely a little on the sweeter side but exactly what I needed today. They also have a yummy menu of inventive food options.. I will need to come back to try some food soon. after seeing a couple of folks recommending this coffee shop on TikTok, I finally had a chance to stop by. Inside, you'll find ~3-4 tables and a couch. Seating outside is much more abundant. I had a medium canelita and as the name suggests - it was very cinnamon-y. It was sweeter than I was expecting but had great flavor. It was smooth and creamy. While I wish that the coffee flavor was more pronounced, I still thought it was a good latte. Our drinks did take a little while to come out (folks were coming in and out) but I didn't mind waiting. If you're in a rush, give yourself ample time so the baristas have time to do their thing. read more

Came to check out deseo since I saw it online and thought it looked good. The area is really small, but very cute. I really liked how they have it decorated inside. My coffee was okay, the espresso in my drink didn't seem to be too concentrated. The girls making the drinks took a while to get us our stuff, and there was no one else in the cafe. I sat there for a while and waited. read more

The vibe at this shop is adorable. It's a tiny little shop with a few tables, couch, counter, bathroom, and large outdoor area. It's a little cramped with a morning rush. Staff were pretty friendly. I ordered the café con Leche, which i expected to be sweet but it wasn't. A medium was made with one espresso shot and two scoops instant coffee. a lot of their drinks have instant coffee. It's gives it a different taste, and honestly is a bit weaker. I thought they were pretty good but price felt high knowing it had instant coffee.. read more

Berto is the best! It's fall y'all, and the signature fall drinks at Deseo all deserve a day of their own to be tasted. the coffee is so rich and the flavor pairings are in art. Highly recommend mixing the Abuelita mocha with the pumpkin spice, half sweet, iced, with oat milk. Ask Berto;) Their food selection is very creative as they have a kitchen next-door. This is easily one of my favorite coffee shops. Their drinks are on the sweeter side and espresso is more of a light roast. I don't think I can get their coffee everyday but it's my favorite for a weekend treat. You are able to substitute your milk for alternatives like oat, and you can ask them to adjust the sweetness. This place is somewhat hidden from the main road. I followed my GPS and turned into a parking lot even though I didn't see the business, but luckily they had a little sign out front that pointed me in the right direction. It is located next to several other businesses, so there is lots of parking available. Inside is fairly small, but there's lots of seating outside available. I was surprised that even though it is spring, inside was still very warm in my opinion... I can't imagine what it might be like in the summer! Honestly, this was my only complaint, though. The canelita latte was so delicious, I finished it in just a few sips on accident! We went to Deseo coffee shop and this place is awesome! Authentic coffee experience, and we ordered the Paisano breakfast sandwich which was delicious and we got the cold brew with UBE FOAM which was absolutely delicious. The inside is small and charming, and the customer service is wonderful. They even had a live musician playing acoustic guitar while we were there. We were on our way to visit the downtown area of Phoenix so we made a stop here to grab some breakfast. There's also plenty of space for parking, which was a huge plus! The coffee shop is a bit small, there's only a few tables and the seating is a bit tight. We came in with a large group of people, so we easily took up many of the tables lol. Luckily there was outdoor seating as well! Ordering was quite easy, which I ordered a iced latte and a garden toast to share. Starting off with the garden toast, I really enjoyed how the avocado is really fresh! The avocado was so creamy and made the toast so enjoyable. The iced latte was also pretty nice as well, it paired really well with the toast. I had another friend who isn't so much of a coffee person, but she ordered an iced latte. She said she really really recommends that drink if you're looking for something refreshing. read more
