My son and I were waiting for someone at the airport and had some time to kill, so we decided to check out Deseo Coffee Shack. There's a large parking lot, but I could see parking being a challenge during peak hours. The "shack" is charming and the interior is vibrant and inviting. Seating is limited inside but there's more outside. The staff was friendly and helpful. The menu had a variety of enticing options, but I went with the staff's recommendation of El Paisano sandwich and my son ordered the El Chicano sandwich. I also got an iced almond milk latte with honey and cinnamon powder and my son got an iced Americano. My El Paisano was very tasty. It usually comes with chorizo, but I requested it without. Without the chorizo, the only protein left is an egg, which isn't enough for me so I should have asked for an additional egg on my sandwich. My latte was solid. My son liked his sandwich and Americano as well. We enjoyed sitting outside, taking advantage of the lovely patio weather we had back in May. They have a complimentary water station which was a thoughtful touch. read more

Coffee shack is the perfect name for this. It's a hidden gem under a cute little house that is cozy and small. I ordered a small iced Canelita which was tasty and some empanadas. Apparently there were some issues in the restaurant's kitchen that make the food which impacted food service being slow but Alfie took care of the situation and me which I truly appreciated it. The empanadas were delicious. Due to the latte, food and customer service being good, I plan on returning. Thank you for taking care of me. read more

Tried a new coffee shop today and got my first stamp in my coffee passport! Loved the vibe here, it's super cute inside and plenty of parking which is always a plus. I ordered an iced tres leches latte with oatmilk and it was definitely on the sweeter side, but yummy. I also grabbed the GF banana nut muffin and it was delicious. A cute little shop in the middle of a parking lot. The drinks were all a hit and I LOVE how unique they are. The cherry latte with cherry cold foam was gorgeous and delicious all in one. The Cafe' de Olla was so amazing. We were told that it would be kind of bitter and not as sweet but it was sweet and perfect. Definitely a 10/10 for the drinks. They only have to go cups, no for here cups to add to the aesthetic. The place is decorated really well and you can tell there's a lot of thought in it. The outdoors is so cute as well, there is a gate so that if you're with kids they stay in the cafe area and don't run into the parking lot. One negative I had was the smell in the coffee shop. I couldn't sit in there for long so I was happy that there was an outdoor seating area. It had a very strong and sharp smell. The only thing I could compare it to would be kitty litter. Another negative was the wait. Only one barista which I can understand and give slack to, but I didn't understand why people who ordered after me got their drinks before me if they were both coffees. Didn't make sense. But I don't regret coming here, the drinks were worth it in my opinion. Wish I could give a half star. read more

Stopped in for midday coffee on a Thursday. A few folks hanging out. It was raining the day I went so the patio was not usable although it looked nice. The interior is small, but has cozy feel. The service was friendly. The menu consists of the coffee shop standards plus a lot of speciality and seasonal drinks. I was in the mood for something simple so I opted for an Americano with a bit of whole milk in it. Drink arrived promptly. Had a nice, mild flavor, did not have an acrid or bitter flavor on the back end. All in all, a nice Americano. N*joy! read more

This coffee shop is in a plaza with a pre school and other businesses. There is parking available and they have seating inside and outside/ their kitchen is right next to the shop and they have a few breakfast items. I tried their chilaquiles weigh barbacoa and a fried egg with green salsa. This was a very mild sauce. Not spicy at all and the meat was soft and cooked perfectly. The mazapan latte was very good. I met up with a friend here for coffee on a Sunday around 1130a and it was pretty slow, but it definitely picked up between then and 1230. The Mexican/southwestern themed decor is fun, and they offer indoor and outdoor seating. The drink menu is pretty simple, and they also offer pastries and breakfast sandwiches, tapas and other breakfast items. There were also some fall specials listed on a sign outside. We love a female Latina owned business. This spot is hidden but if you know you know. I met with a friend for coffee around 9 and it was packed at 10. Great spot for catching up with friends, remote work, etc. the staff was so friendly and helped me with the menu. Deseo is super cute inside and the food is delicious. My husband loved his empanadas and I wish I had ordered that too. My breakfast sandwich was good, but not exciting. He also really liked his drink (we both got the iced Canelita latte) but it was a tad on the sweet side for me. Overall I would come back but beware, this is truly a shack so the seating inside is really minimal. Been going to Deseo for 2 years now and we love this place! Our fave food is the El Paisano (although a tad spicy for me). This day we tried the Tacos de Papa, which was good and filling. Only comment is that we wish it was traditionally folded like an actual taco. The way it's folded made the potatoes spill out to the side. Otherwise the flavor was gooood! I always get the same coffee at all the places I go to (honey oatmilk latte). They make it pretty close to perfect! Not too sweet and not too milky. It's a small cottage and they have a very cute aesthetic. I love the art all around. But if you plan to sit down to enjoy your coffee or food, don't go during rush (lunch/ breakfast). read more

At first this coffee shop was a little hard to find but once I saw the little sign out front I knew was I was in the right place. It's a very hidden gem across the street from the Mexican food restaurant. I walked in and I wasn't really greeted at first. But then the other guy that was working came out to say hello. He gave me a menu. I looked it over and I was a little confused at first. I ordered the caramel macchiato, which was not on the menu, but it was posted on the wall. I came when there was an hour left until it closed. The customer service wasn't that great. Also I really liked my drink, but I thought it was very overpriced. after seeing a couple of folks recommending this coffee shop on TikTok, I finally had a chance to stop by. Inside, you'll find ~3-4 tables and a couch. Seating outside is much more abundant. I had a medium canelita and as the name suggests - it was very cinnamon-y. It was sweeter than I was expecting but had great flavor. It was smooth and creamy. While I wish that the coffee flavor was more pronounced, I still thought it was a good latte. Our drinks did take a little while to come out (folks were coming in and out) but I didn't mind waiting. I ordered the café con Leche, which i expected to be sweet but it wasn't. A medium was made with one espresso shot and two scoops instant coffee. a lot of their drinks have instant coffee. This is easily one of my favorite coffee shops. Their drinks are on the sweeter side and espresso is more of a light roast. I don't think I can get their coffee everyday but it's my favorite for a weekend treat. You are able to substitute your milk for alternatives like oat, and you can ask them to adjust the sweetness. I followed my GPS and turned into a parking lot even though I didn't see the business, but luckily they had a little sign out front that pointed me in the right direction. With a menu of speciality lattes and pastries, this is my go to when anywhere near the area, or time permits to go out of my way.
