I was surprised by how big the inside was. It's a very cool space and great place to sit and enjoy a coffee or get some reading done. Everyone in there was chill and it wasn't too loud. We got the campfire s'mores latte and it was pretty good. They even roasted the marshmallow when I got it iced. I'd like to check out one of their events/ pop up events soon

I had been to another firecreek location in Phoenix a few years back, in an office type building, but this one is new to me! It is really big in here and plenty of space to work and hang out. Plus I think they have live music sometimes. The artwork is really cool. I ordered a dream latte. It had orange and vanilla, with a candied I think tangerine on top? Or tangerine zest and a candied orange? Whatever it was it tasted amazing. And for $6.50 it was relatively reasonable in price for a really good quality latte. Barista was nice too. And the treats looked amazing. I would definitely come here again!

They have live music in certain days and the place is huge and great to get work done. Coffee here never disappoints and the barista was super sweet!

I got the dream latte with the orange syrup and asked if they could make it into a mocha; the chocolate and the orange flavor combo was amazzinngg.

Came here for lunch with a friend on a Saturday, had a good time! (Drinks in photo not from here)…read more I enjoyed my Cast Iron Egg dish, the shallot (or scallion) cream sauce was the secret winner, but I may want to try something new next time. My friend enjoyed the Pork Chili Verde dish. Portions are decent. We sat outside, which at noon in May is a bit warm, but we eventually moved to a shaded table and that was enjoyable. They have lots of fans and misters outside too. I also picked up a strawberry rhubarb and coconut rum cake for my parents. They loved the strawberry rhubarb, but they said the coconut rum cake was a bit strong on the rum (it tastes exactly like Malibu if you like that). Overall had a good time and would go back, staff was friendly despite it being busy.

A friend of mine suggested this spot for a mid-morning breakfast, and I hadn't been here in years…read moreso I agreed. I read that their parking lot fills up quickly but that there's a public lot across the street, so I parked there and crossed over. This cozy restaurant was fairly busy and we perused the pastry case while waiting in line, lots of tempting treats. My friend ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which are topped with blueberries. A lot of their menu items have pork in it, but they were good about substituting. The burrito usually has schreiners chorizo, hash browns, cheddar, sunny egg and chili oil with side of salsa verde. I asked for avocado instead of the chorizo. We brought our own drinks so didn't order any. We grabbed a table on their patio since the sun wasn't over our heads yet. It's nice out there and I think they have some fans going to keep the air flowing, and there was also a natural breeze. Our food came out and they were plated beautifully. My burrito looked good, but it had too much hashbrowns and also there wasn't any chili oil, which was a bummer. Maybe they normally put it on the chorizo so they forgot to add it to my avocado. The egg was runny which I like: The salsa verde was delicious; I love cilantro and it had great flavors. I tried the pancakes and they were fairly rich but I liked the tart lemon flavor and the blueberries, one of my favorite fruits. This is a nice place to meet up (small groups) and I'm glad I visited again.

They both loved their drinks. Mine was good too, but I ordered the banana matcha and it tasted more like a banana foster style syrup, which is totally fine, just not what I am used to. That part is on me, not them, because their matcha quality was good. The staff was great and really fun to talk to. One of the guys told us he was from Dallas and said we were his third Houston customers of the day since there was a University of Houston vs University of Arizona game that week. Houston won, so it was a fun time to be in Arizona lol I am glad we ended up here even though it was not part of the plan. My friends enjoyed their drinks and the service was really nice. I feel like if I ordered a different flavor I would have liked mine even more.

I've been wanting to try Xolo Coffee for months now and finally made the trek this weekend!!! There…read moreis a small parking lot out front shared with other businesses, including the tattoo/piercing shop next door "In The Streets Tattoo" nowned by the same folks as Xolo Coffee! I was specifically interested in their piercings (Side note, I asked if Xolo Tacos is also owned by them, but it isn't). I visited for the first time on a Sunday afternoon, just missing the late morning rush, so I had ample options to choose from regarding seating (there's couches, tables, stools)! As a first-timer who loves specialty coffees, I inquired about which drink might be the sweetest and best suited to my tastes, and through shared decision-making, we decided on the Azucar Morena! It's comprised of brown sugar and molasses, which satisfied my taste buds and coffee fix. There wasn't a wifi password sign anywhere, but upon inquiry, I received it and proceeded to chill for an hour or so before closing. I loved that they kept the door open to let in more natural lighting and fresh outside air on that serene Sunday afternoon. Overall highly recommend this coffee shop for delicious, unique specialty coffees. I can't wait to return to try more, including the pistachio espesso and cafe de olla! Or I might even stick to my azucar morena that I loved so much

If I could give a place 10*s, Lux has more than earned the title…read more Cool space coffee shops are definitely a thing in Phoenix lately--but Lux was the "design-genius-with-a-latte-machine" long before coffee shops were even a thing here. I've been frequenting this architectural marvel for over 10 years. While so many new shops try to mimic this vibe, none of them are Lux. Lux is King! The 11-Year Flashback: I looked back at my review from 11 years ago when I docked them a star for the "nightmare parking." Back then, I was a "to-go" only person who never envisioned myself as a laptop-hipster hanging out. Well, times change! I'm bumping them up to 5 stars now. Maybe it's the new competition nearby or my better timing, but the parking is a breeze, and I've officially embraced the "comfy chair" lifestyle. The "Cheers" Factor: What really sets this place apart is the people. After a decade of visits, it truly feels like Cheers--where everybody knows my name! Getting to know the folks behind the counter makes every visit feel like coming home. The Sip of the Night: I shifted from my usual plain Cappuccino as my target drink to include in a review to feature their Espresso Martini. I went with a Reposado base instead of the typical vodka, and it was stellar. With two full bars in addition to the coffee and pastry bar, craft drinks truly abound here! (Note: they have an amazing cappuccino too) The Comfort Classics: You cannot leave without the food. My go-to favorites? The Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese and the legendary Chocolate Chip or Red Velvet cookies. Return Factor: 100% I've been coming here for a decade, and it's still the gold standard. As I said in my review 11 years ago: "I see a book, comfy chair and cocktail in my future! Stumble home... Repeat." Still true today! #PHXCoffeeShopTour #1CupAtATime #LuxCentral #PhoenixOriginal #EspressoMartini #FlashbackReview

After taking a number you can comfortably wait in the hallways that are lined with a few tables, chairs and power outlets. The vibe of this space clicks with the other gem, clothing, tattoo and hair salons within the Carmody shopping center. You order from the unique menu offering baked goods, cortados lattes, non coffee lattes and specialty beverages. The Kuromitsu matcha latte is served iced due to the cold foam but my daughter requested she could try the kuromitsu match latte hot. ($7.5) with the kuromitsu on the side. Honoring the customer's desire, Yumi gladly accommodated. I ordered the miso caramel latte. ($7.) Both drinks were tasty. The Kuromitsu had a rich taste like molasses but with less bitterness. Mix this with milk and it's like a dessert! The miso and caramel combined sweet with savory to produce a distinctive taste. My daughter and I each believed we had ordered the better drink, but after swapping sips, we were surprised to find ourselves preferring each other's instead! Be sure to leave ample time for ordering and enjoying this one on one experience. The wait times vary depending on how many customers are ahead of you. Tanoshimu!

This has been, consistently, my favorite cup of coffee (latte) that I've ever had. Yumi has mastered her craft with espresso and matcha. While I do usually get latte's here, i do occasionally get a matcha or try my wife's, and the matcha is equally as great. When visiting Yumi, it isn't your typical coffee shop experience, you don't wait in line to have your order taken, then wait for your order at a counter. Rather, you get to have a personal experience with Yumi (and sometimes her husband Brett) as she crafts you the perfect drink! Brett and Yumi are always great company and I really enjoy getting to chat it up with them each time we go! Not only is the company and drinks good, but the assorted, rotating pastries and treats are delicious! There are flavors that I wouldn't have thought of mixing or trying before. Each time I go, I always make sure to get something to eat, everything I've had has been delectable! Depending on the time of day, the queue can get a little long, however there are plenty of interesting magazines to look through spread out in the seating area of the Carmody that are fun to look through! The drinks, company, experience and treats are well worth the wait. I absolutely recommend visiting Yumi next time you're looking for a coffee or matcha! If I could leave more than 5 stars, I absolutely would.
