I haven't been back since before the renovation and it looks so nice in here I really love the furniture and bar sitting area, it feels like there is a lot more room to sit I grabbed the strawberry matcha it was really good tasted very refreshing. Last time I was here my matcha really wasn't good so I'm glad I gave it another chance . also the employees were very laid back and worked really well with each other didn't wait long at all for my drink or food. I wanted to give Fair Trade another shot because their drink menu really does look appetizing. What I find the most frustrating is these policies that really don't make much sense. They offer a flight with two coffee drinks and a matcha drink. The matcha drink on the main menu (not as part of the flight) specifically says it can be made as an espresso or a matcha. So I inquire if the matcha drink in the flight can be made as an espresso instead and they tell me no modifications. So I ask if the two espresso drinks in the flight can be made half sweet or with non-dairy milk and they tell me no, because they are batched already, but the matcha drink can be modified to be half sweet. Wait, what? I was just told no modifications on the matcha, now I can modify the matcha? But I can't have it as an espresso. Hmmm. I really didn't love that. So we decided to forego the flight and try two regular drinks. They were pretty large size and very sweet despite ordering half sweet. Maybe Fair Trade suits others' palates more but I just don't think it's for me. read more

Not bad matcha! The space is super cute and perfect for chatting with friends or getting work done. We came in around 2:30 on a Thursday and got our drinks within 10 minutes of ordering. The service was quick and the workers were nice. We ordered a matcha flight which comes with a banana cream matcha, strawberry cream matcha, and a coconut cream matcha. The quality seemed a bit inconsistent since the strawberry one was super strong and matcha forward whereas the coconut one had little to no matcha flavor and was predominantly coconut. There were also a few clumps in the drink but that didn't affect the texture too much. My favorite was definitely the strawberry since it was the strongest. The flight came in at a little over $20 (we got oat milk) which was quite pricey because the drinks were super small (probably the size of 1.5x a normal matcha) so we paid double the price for variety lol. The purple matcha was just too beautiful to not order. It's a dollar or two extra for the purple whipped topping, but heck, it's worth it! It kinda tastes like fruity pebbles. Very good! And sometimes when they have the DJs in the restaurant, it's too loud and overpowering the DJ here did a good job of providing music that you can vibe to, but not wear it so loud that she couldn't carry on conversations and still enjoy yourself. My friend had ordered us a coffee flight and a Matcha flight and to be honest the market plate was my favorite. I like both coffee and Matcha, but their flavors really stand out the strawberry Matcha and the banana cream. Matcha were my favorite favorites. The banana cream had such a delicious flavor and undertones to it, along with the fact that it had cold foam on top. I enjoyed it so much that I actually got a full-size cut to go. The matcha, though, still isn't our favorite. We have tried the 3 matcha flight and the strawberry matcha, but it tasted more like sweet strawberry milk than matcha. Very sweet and heavy on the strawberries. They don't offer gluten-free pastries, but they do have gluten free bread for sandwiches. It also took a longer than usual time to get my dining companion's croissant.... 10-15 min passed before she had to follow up; and then it took another 5 min or so after to come out. But it came out warm! Another area of improvement: serve dine-in drinks in normal mugs to cut down on paper cups and single use plastic tops while also keeping your tea/drinks hot. I have seen this place all over social media and seen that their matcha looked really good. My sister and I stopped by on Friday afternoon and there was a small line to order.
