For downtown Phoenix locals this is a staples in my opinion. Whether you're having a bad day and need a smiling face to talk to or trying to get sauced this is a great starting point. From breakfast sandwich to one of the best burgers in downtown, come visit John and the team. If you're not a downtown local don't worry about it, this place doesn't have the "if you're not local get out" feel. Downtown local secret unlocked... hot dogs la memoria sets up after 8PM for some late night Sonoran dogs. These are as authentic as it gets hands down my favorite across all of phx, if you've had a couple drinks and just want some fire glizzies to take home DO IT! Also pool table open

Detroit Style Pepperoni Pizza

Best pizza we have found in AZ Stopped in for lunch after recommendation from an online forum to try the pizza at this little coffee shop in downtown Phoenix. Glad we made the trip! This is not on their menu online, but it was $15 after tax for two large slices. Wife and I both left full and satisfied and it was a perfect sharing size for lunch.

What a find this was! Drinks were great as was the food! Service was quick and the aesthetic was cool. This is how you do a bar and coffee shop mixed.

In this place, coffee never gets old. I like how even at late hours I can still get a coffee. Their dirty chai latte is their best.

Me and my friend stopped here when taking a walk downtown. The place is very dark, or dimmed inside. It wasn't overly loud but still wasn't effective for a conversation if you sit inside. Me and my friend only stopped here to get some ice cream! I personally had the circus cookie ice cream. The presentation of the ice cream was cute! The little box and fortune cookie was unique and perfect for sizing. The ice cream wasn't overly sweet but was still satisfying. I would definitely return for another scoop!

In the five plus years I've been coming here it is always amazing every time! I took a friend here that's visiting from out of town and she loved it just as much as me and that made me happy. Coming from Utah she couldn't grasp that they sold coffee and alcohol ha ha ha I myself love the food and well...everything about it. Vibe, music, food, coffee. It's all consistent and staff awesome . Today while my friend enjoyed a mimosa and such I had some melt ice cream . I sampled a few, but I take the bartenders word for it and chose the fig and goat cheese with cherry. It was freaking fantastic! Not over sweet, smooth and just plain perfect. They offer only one size, but still comes in the same oil containers as always. Great stop always.

Jobot does not know what it's doing. First of all, one staff member taking care of everyone in a downtown Phoenix cafe is absurd. The wait is ridiculously long and a waste of everyone's time. Second, I paid $7.60 for an awful oat milk latte. It was seriously so bad and sour, and completely lacks smoothness and quality. I asked for honey to add some taste to it, but I still could not finish this cup of embarrassment. Third, it's the most expensive cup of coffee I've ever gotten. Fourth, why are the sugars and stirrers not out for people to use? Do they think customers will go crazy on stirrer use? That's another waste of time, to wait for the employee to come around so you ask for a stirrer. And fifth, why is the music so loud?! Is this a cafe or a hip-hop club? I could still hear the music with my noise-cancelling earbuds on. I feel like they cover up their poor coffee beverages with their doll decorations and they think it's cool and entertaining, but at the end of the day, it was a complete waste of money and time. I threw out my cup after two sips and left.

First, for a divey-style bar, the barkeep was really friendly. And they have good drinks. He made a stiff dirty martini, an espresso martini, and a few of their Mezcal-based "Smoke and Berries." Outside, we feasted on cheap eats from (I can't remember the name), but we ordered everything from tacos to nachos to fries and I think empanadas? Great music, great lighting, service, and drinks. From the jump, the energy was chill but not boring... lights were warm, music had bounce, and the whole place felt curated without being corny. Bartender energy? Different. No menus needed... we gave a vibe, he poured what matched it. Not sure what was in the glass, but it slapped. You ever drink something so good you start reevaluating your life choices? That. Clean pours. Balanced. Not over-mixed. Just enough sweetness to get you in trouble. Crowd was mixed, stylish... looked like people who know where to be without needing to post about it. The seating's cozy enough to post up and talk but open enough to float around if you're trying to socialize. It had that lounge-meets-night-out energy. Bathrooms were clean... that matters when the drinks are flowing. Never felt like a dive. Never felt like a bottle-service trap either. It's got identity... almost like a cocktail bar that grew up on rap albums and old money. It's giving... if Frank Ocean curated a bar playlist then dipped out the back with your ex.

Entry is free, but you do enter through security guards and pat downs. As soon as we were through security, we were immersed in art through color and sound. It felt like an unending psychedelic labyrinth! Through bushes, we spotted meat cooking on a grill. To our left was a lit up bar, the first of many. Keep walking, and soon we were surrounded by paintings. It was like a choose-your-own adventure! Go left towards art or step to the right to find a covered turf lawn with a live band. We grabbed cocktails at a variety of bars, including a Japanese inspired garden. It was like a lucid dream. We walked through an L.E.D. tunnel, passed couples sitting at elevated hexagon shaped booths, and at one point ended up in a house with a dance party. It's a unique concept. Fun for an intimate date night or an outing with friends.

It felt lively and fun, with a bit of adventure as we walked around. I'd definitely recommend this as a solid 4th or 5th date spot, great energy, social, lounge, saki bar, margarita bar and something a little different but all in one place.

I kept attempting to show our bartender the activities we did while in Arizona, but forgot I didn't have my phone lol. We had a good ole time with our bartender (male, forgot his name but I've learned he's afraid of heights and won't go on a hot air balloon ride LOL!!). He made this drink something near an old fashioned but it was topped with an entire gingerbread cookie, I had about 3. Oh, and the staff all had on Christmas pajamas as uniform. So cute & comfy! Carry On was a great experience for our bachelorette party (or any sort of special occasion,…read morereally)! We had a 7:30pm flight to Mexico City and arrived about 10 minutes early which ended up being perfect because there was already a line forming outside. You really feel the 70s vibes from the moment you step onto the "airplane". The team did an amazing job with the ambiance and you can tell a lot of thought was put into every aspect of the space. It's such a fun immersive experience. Server and bartenders were friendly and fun, and the vibes all around were just super happy. I loved the rolling martini cart that came around! The only reason I'm knocking a star is because when we booked (a party larger than 5) I emailed with the team there for our reservation. They mentioned the option to upgrade the reservation to a $100/person meal option which I declined. After we were seated small bites were passed around the plane. We noticed every table received it, so I truly thought it was part of the standard experience. It wasn't until the 3rd round of small bites went around that I realized we will probably be charged for the full service experience (which we were). Because this was a new experience for us, my suggestion would be to confirm the experiences with our table prior to passing around offerings. We aren't familiar with what to expect, so we didn't know it wasn't standard until it was too late. Otherwise, we had a great experience!
